Only good thing about this gas is the price and it is more convenient than Costco (for me). The staff that work here are rude and kinda different. The app is nice (when it works). Today the app wasn’t working and after waiting in a long like I asked the attendant if he could help me. I have an active account. He just yelled, “I don’t have a card, I can’t help you.” Uhhhh… seriously? Isn’t that what you are supposed to do? I typically go Here weekly, and when I do have issues, this is typically their response. So, I felt it warranted a review.

Your gas station service is outdated. Wi-Fi doesn't work 99% of the time and without it I cannot fuel my car or it takes forever. Never had any issues at Costco. Cardless feature is a very convenient option to have, however at your Folsom Sam's Club Gas it is useless. Don't go there if you are in a hurry at least.

I'm so tired of seeing these political stickers EVERY single time I go here. Why am I paying a membership fee to be reminded of the state of the world? Annoying.

Customer Service is a BIG problem at this store. The employees will stop, gather in circles and hoot and holler with their weird "chanting", BUT they will not help customers who are standing by! Sam's Club! Take note! This is why Costco wins over you every time! CUSTOMERS MATTER! CUSTOMER SERVICE MATTERS! And especially a note sent to CUSTOMER SERVICE! Stop ignoring your customers, stop talking over them, and STOP being RUDE to your customers!

Still a great place to shop for good quality and reasonable prices. But they still have not fixed their check out at the door process. The line to get passed the check out at the door was back just behind the food stand. Pic is of only half of the line.

I went to Sam's Club last night. Every employee I had dealings with during this visit was UNFRIENDLY. Not rude just very unfriendly. It was close to closing time but I was treated like I was an inconvenience. My Cashier was the worst. No hello, No Thank you, No nothing. I don't even think she spoke to me at all. The cashier one lane over was complaining to a coworker about a customer she just helped. (unprofessional) . And the lady at the door with the d*** scanner was so annoying. I felt like she was trying to find something that I didn't pay for because I swear if felt like she scanned every item in my basket. Once again... unfriendly. Just an unwelcomed experience. I don't think I will go back to the Folsom store. Too bad because I really like their selections. Also, I was just looking at my receipt and I was charged for two packages of bread and I only bought one. Why didn't that lady with the scanner pick up on that???? What is the purpose of this??

I could easily give this 5 stars but due to a choice few associates who act like you're in their way, don't acknowledge you if you're courteous to them or say "excuse me" to them as they pass (with a hard look like you're on their turf), act like you're bothering them if you ask for help, and so on and so on and so on. This is not limited to just a couple of hardhead males; there's at least one of the females (older) who is just as snarly. Now there are also that many more who ARE very helpful, smile and converse, go out of their way to help. But I'm a retired Command and Call Center IT manager who made it a priority that EVERYONE on our team believed and fostered caring and empathetic customer support. So as far as I'm concerned, this should be consistent in the Sam's Club I shop at (Folsom). I believe it could be 5 stars with me and usually is until I run into one of those choice few. I will continue to shop there but this is my feeling at the present time! Folsom Sam's Club: Teach ALL of your associates to be genuinely friendly and helpful with a smile and you'll get 5 stars not only from me, but all other customers (well most, because I know there are also many BAD customers who shop there, believe me, I've run into them too!)
