Nick who works in the Pharmacy is so unaccommodating, I will not be back here due to bad customer experience. Trying to get Covid vaccine and since we didn’t call ahead that we were running late, told us that he can’t take us as a walk-in. You should have a sign that says NO WALK-INS ACCOMMODATED in your website! In addition, nowhere in the notification that says it’s required we call in! What a waste of time. We waited until their lunch hour was over. So, lesson learned. Never coming back. Thanks Nick for a bad experience!

I would like to thank the pharmacy staff for their wonderful customer service. I recently scheduled a COVID shot and realized I would not be able to make the appointment, I went in to the store 2 hours earlier then my scheduled time and asked if I was able to get the shot then. Both Nicky and Phoebe were very helpful even thought they were very busy Brad made the time to fit me in for the shot. Thank you so much for going the extra mile. I really do appreciate Brad and Tami and the whole staff. They are second to none. Keep up the great work Folsom Safeway!Donna S.

It says on the door open until 2:00A.M! Even on the GPS open until 2:00A.M Not so! Doors are locked. LIARS!! It's only 20 mi minutes after midnight. There is people inside though. False advertising! Raspberries. Don't waste your time!! One Star!

I would like to commend Brad and his team for providing excellent service. Just recently, I changed insurance carriers and was having an issue with the new carrier approving my existing prescriptions. Brad and his team took the time to contact the carrier and were able to resolve the problem quickly. I am so appreciative of the care they showed. Thank you so much.If anyone is looking for a Great pharmacy, this is the one.

Safeway on Bidwell, Folsom CAWe moved our prescriptions to this location about 6-8 months ago. There is NO comparison with any other place we've worked with to this outstanding place of business. The friendly personable staff makes every effort to assist one in getting prescriptions in a timely manner~and we are prescribed many. I so appreciate being recognized by name~even as I am standing in line, getting solid advice and suggestions from the pharmacists and all in all~so impressed with the way it is operated and managed. It is always professional and I feel confident when I leave there we are in good hands. We live at a distance, but it is worth the trip every time. Big thanks to Brian, the manager and to Nicki, one of the best of techs. (Both should give workshops to other places of business~Customer service 110%. Wayne and Marsha Cornelius

I have to say this store is clean and great. Well maintained and stocked for daily shopping. Selection of beer and snacks are top natch. Staffing are nice and friendly. I know it's a supermarket but they do have a wonderful bakery. Highly recommend this store.

I usually don't by my meats at Safeway. However, I was in close proximity and had to pick up some tri-tip. After looking lost at the butcher for few minutes, I was helped with the tri-tip. It was weighed, wrapped and tossed to me. Got home, unwrapped and noticed that half of the hidden bottom portion was fat. Never again!!!

Come on Safeway. You can do better. The store isn't as clean as it used to be. The cart area is filthy. The pharmacy counter is not clean, trash on top. Customers have choices where the shop. Do better. Clean up the store

This Starbucks is my favorite in the area! I feel like all the others are hit and miss when it comes to drink quality, but Kim and all her baristas always make our drinks perfectly! This is the Starbucks to go to, especially for holiday drinks. You won't be disappointed!

This review is for the experience I just had with the cashier Seth (with long curly black hair) who rang me up. Seemed friendly with the customer before me but as soon as it was my turn his mood changed. I walked up and say hi and didn't get any response. After checking me out he says, "you want your receipt?" I say yes and thank him before walking off. Still no response. As I'm walking out, he happily greets the customer behind me with a hello! Lol. It definitely felt intentional and racist considering the person before me and after me was not Asian. I shop at Safeway frequently and love the store. Again, this review was for the cashier not overall store.

I am in this store a lot. Checker Veronica has the worst attitude and is completely disrespectful and condescending for no reason to every customer. On a busy night she "closed" her lane when there was a huge line between two, yelling at me that "after THIS item and her I'm done!"... pointing at a girl with one box of tampons... way to embarrass her too. So I and the two groups of people behind me go to the back of the other line. When she was done checking out all her customers, she called to the men behind me saying " I can help you". They then turned to me saying, "Go ahead, I guess she's still open" so I moved my cart into her line and she yelled "NO, THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID! I SAID I CAN HELP *THEM!*" Um, what? Is there a reason for the discrimination? I was in shock so I moved back to the other line and she continued to call customers from behind me to refuse to check me out specifically. I then directly asked her why she wouldn't check me out and she glared at me red and flustered, saying "these people only have a few items!!! If you have a problem with it I can get you the manager!" She stood there continuously calling people behind me over to her one after the other. I had a cart but probably ten items total.... when I did get checked out by the other girl Mia, who is always fast and friendly, I asked her if there was a manager I could speak with. Although I used a normal tone, Veronica yelled from the other lane "YEAH, I'LL GET HIM FOR YOU, AND MY NAME IS VERONICA!!" as she was apparently and creepily very invested in my every move and word. I did speak to a male manager who introduced himself and walked me to the parking lot, which Veronica suddenly needed to move carts around near to observe us... I am not sure if this location has suddenly begun accepting felon reform candidates, but Veronica seems in need of immediate mental help and is clearly unhinged. She should in no way be in a "customer service" role. If she is in a special rehab program, it may be better to put her in a stocker or cleaning role.

I was on my way home, having picked something up from Granite Bay, my Waze app chose this particular Safeway as it is on the way home a little bit more up the hill. I needed pricey ground Angus beef (that I've only seen Safeway carry) because my cat who eats raw meat is a great big pain in the rear. She will let herself starve to death, otherwise. Anyhoo, on my way to the self checkout, the color purple caught my eye. No, it can't be (I tell myself)? But oh my goodness IT IS!! UBE FREAKING BUN!! It wasn't on my grocery list and honestly I'm on a strict budget at the moment, but it was a magical unicorn in a sea of chores and to-do lists. I HAD TO GET IT. Oh, and I'm on a diet right now (boo!), so I didn't get it for myself. I got it for my hardworking family at home. And I frantically urged them to try it right away. They said the bread faintly had the ube taste, very light, but it had the same sweetness and texture as your regular white siopao bun. But then, IT HAS UBE FILLING IN THE MIDDLE. My child who is stingy when it comes to praises said it was REALLY GOOD. And the bread itself smells like ube ice cream. Whoever it is in your that bakery made this, please please please give this person a hug from all of us. Please tell him/her/they to never ever move (unless you plan on being closer to my home). If your Safeway is the only one carrying this product, I will happily drive my $7/gallon diesel carriage weekly just to get these. I have a lot of family that have requested I bring them some. You're going to be my new hangout. You guys rock!
