I took my 3 cats here for years. I used to love the compassion and care we got here.I took my youngest last week because she wasn't feeling well.We did test and left with a whole bunch of medicine the hard thing was they just told us everything really quick in the waiting room.Giving her medicines (pills for a dehydrated cats) didn't go well. I called to tell them this and they said only option was to buy liquids or crush pills. I felt frustrated because we had already spent so much money there and the meds were so hard for us.They called to check on her a few times which was kind but everyone I would tell them where we were I was met with silence or short replies.I feel like the compassion was non-existant even though they were calling to follow up the interactions seemed less than authentic.Final call to get medical records and go to a different vet and the manager answered the phone. I asked to cancel appointment and get records. She asked if anything had happened and maybe she could help. I explained how hard our time there had been and she cut me off and saidoh I get it and where do you want me to email these too.Had anyone at the office offered any understanding or care I would continue to go there. But without compassion I don't feel comfortable bringing my pets here.Also we found my cat had been eating two plants. I gave them the name of the plants over the phone because we had discovered days after the appointment. They wrote it down but didn't offer any thought or advice on if care would change because we know what caused issue now.I don't expect anything for free but in that instance I would think they would just confirm my statement of I looked the plant up and toxic but she should get better is true.I feel like I went through this whole illness with my cat without any real medical care for her and little/minimal advice/help despite numerous calls with them.

Great service with friendly and helpful technicians. We have been bringing our dog here for two years since we discovered cancerous tumors all over her body. She has had two surgeries to have them removed through this vet office, and both times, she has come back healthy and happy. I highly recommend pet vets of Folsom.

Unprofessional and irresponsible front desk and staff. There was an appointment I showed up on time, they told me the doctor had left out sick and they changed their computer system so they couldn’t call me in advance.Today I called in to get my puppy’s vaccination records, not only they completely missed 2 records on the paper, but also messed up the date vaccinated. Again, they told me their computer system had been shifted. I asked them to send over the updated records including rabies, they once again sent incorrect one, I asked them to update again, otherwise the automatically generated vaccine date expires would be wrong also, the front desk straight up telling me she can’t do it because that’s how their computer works.Why do your clients and patients need to be responsible for your computer issue?The front desk became very impatient and rude, she hung up when I was expressing my concerns.After the 4th time they sent wrong records, I went to the clinic in person, the front desk didn’t apologize, just told me to wait for a call from the technician when the technician and doctor were passing right by. Finally, the front desk talked to the technician to figure out my records. The technician came out and went through the paperwork line by line, they indeed put wrong vaccines and dates on both of the receipt and the records. They over charged us as well. They promised me to send over the copy of the medical records that proves what vaccines my puppy actually had, yet I still haven’t heard back from them.

How did this place get a review of 4.8/5.0 I don't know. This place's management is really miserable and the overall experience has been TERRIBLE for us. The people work here is careless, and it's all about sucking money from you.The lack of records in their system messed up our pup's vaccination records multiple times, and they seem to have no clue what has been given to our pups until we escalated to their manager. Also I had to complain about their customer experience, the front desk offered no apologies after all the mistakes and simply trying to blame their system. If I didn't go through our receipts line by line, I will likely got overcharged.What's worse is the vet does not seems to care instead given quick check after we explained our concern of our pup's eye condition. We were prescribed with an eye drop which cost half online, and did not mention or did not have a check up on the follow up visit. The initial eye exam took place in the backroom for 3 minutes and was charged $70 with no medical record whatsoever.

Had to take my sick kitty in for evaluation. They were very caring and welcoming and made us feel like they really wanted to find the problem. The owner is a very cool guy. They were able to make an appointment the same day. Would highly recommend. Kaz and Dr. Gachowski were both knowledgable and caring. Please give them both a raise :)

Pet vets of folsom are the best vet place in my opinion. We brought our dog in to get a lump checked out and they did such a good job with her. They do a great job of explaining everything and walking you through all the options for treatments and dont pressure you like alot of other vet places. They also did a great job on our dogs surgery and calling and checking in on her aswell. 10/10 would recommend.

We've been taking our pets here for many years and are always happy with the vets and the vet techs. They are qreat with our cat and dogs. My cat, who was a nervous wreck at 2 other vets in Folsom simply chills out on the table or wanders the room and looks out the window. This simple fact confirmed they were the right vet for us.
