I used to trust, Tony, the owner. Until the tall, fat guy in the office told me my “battery was leaking” on my two year old car! No such thing as a leaking battery I’ve since learned! Charged me $100.00 and refused to show me the “leaking battery!” I wrote to Tony and asked to be refunded. Never heard back. They take advantage of single women there!

Great staff. Excellent and honest work. I left my car at the Kia repair center for five days and they never even got it on the lift. So I picked it up and took it here. They apologized because they “wouldnt be able to call back until later that day with what they found”. Just honest professionals

My car was leaking fluid so I took it to the Subaru dealership and I was told it was cost $7K to replace. What a joke as the car wasn't worth much more than that! So instead I brought it to Personal Auto Care, who fixed the issue for just $250. I even asked them about the laundry list of issues my car had (according to the Subaru dealership) and Personal Auto Care assured me all was well except that I needed new tires sooner than later. My car has not leaked since and I did purchase new tired eventually from Personal Auto Care and they took great care of me and my car in those two instances, never trying to upsell me. It's great to know I've found a place I can trust!

I took my car there once to replace a broken harmonic balancer on a Ford Explorer. They did the work correctly, at a reasonable price (not great /not bad). I went back again for something else but the guy who works up front (not a mechanic but customer service) was extremely rude and condescending. I've never returned and never will. This was at least two years ago so if that guy no longer works there in 2023 it may no longer apply.Service: Engine repair

I will start off by saying this review is from over a year ago. The only reason i brought my truck here was because i was in school and work fulltime. My radiator water pump started leaking and I needed it fixed fast and didnt have the time to do it myself. I brought it in and they did good work but here is where the problem starts. They unplugged my knock sensors on my truck. They immediately offered to fix it for $1500 more. I said no and was going to do the job myself but when i started i found they had unplugged the sensor. I left a review and they called me pissed about their rating and kinda threatened me to remove the review. They offered to "make it right" at the end of our conversation, but im never going back there again. Be careful u might have a check engine light when u pick up ur vehicle.

I commute to Folsom and had my brake lines blow out. They handled it all very quickly. Ordered parts through Ford right away and had it repaired early next day. Prices were reasonable. No complaints!

I ask them about my car inspection and he said $65:00 for inspection , it means whatever is included and it doesn't matter what part of car has to be inspect it . So , at the end they asked for $130:00 one hour labor . They are really over price and I'm not gonna back there anymore .

I found myself in a situation where I needed to have my truck worked on immediately and Personal Auto Care came through 100%. They got me in the same day, they communicated with me, they gave me a very fair estimate and the repairs were done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this shop for any auto repairs and also the staff was super polite and professional!! Thank you!!

I've been coming to these guys for my American made cars for several years and they are honest and very reliable. They do not gauge you on repairs. I highly recommend PAC.

My mom and I have had our 4runners serviced here for many years. Always reasonable, straightforward, amazing service. We've had everything done from rats ruining my moms electrical, to stolen catalytic converter problems, mileage check ups, new tires and oil changes. We have always felt appreciated as customers. Dominic and Tony are absolute gems.

I was having issues with my "battery" but it turned out to be an alternator. I was able to get my car into the shop in a quick manner. Both Tony and Damian were very responsive and provided the needed information so I can make the needed decisions. My car work was completed the next day. I will definitely be back for any future work.
