“This is a BEAUTIFUL nursery/place to gift shop!! Their selection is outstanding, their service is kind, helpful, and NOT pushy! A a recent transplant from the Bay Area, I find their pricing is very reasonable. Green Acres is my go-to for all things plant- and outdoor-related.”
“It’s a Home Depot. And like every other HD, most tools and popular accessories are now locked down and require assistance to retrieve. Annoying, given the lack of any regular staff in the tool aisle. Easy returns, at least.”

I left with a big ole smile on my face. The return was super easy and once again I was entertained by Fred. It was a good eye opener that they have SO much tools and other things to rent. A true do it yourself paradise. There's been other occasions where I've stopped in to purchase plants and my husbands list of stuff to complete his projects around the home. I can honestly say if you need something for your home this is the place to go. Plenty of parking, clean store and friendly employees.”
“I went to Home Depot on a very busy day to purchase custom cut blinds. Mark in the flooring department went well out of his way to help me. He did an excellent job and prevented me from accidentally purchasing blinds that wouldn't have fit in our window space. Before him Mary and Cliff (prior employees) had also gone above and beyond to help me. Mark is a true asset to the store ensuring customers like me return again and again!”
“I walked into the El Dorado Hills Home Depot because I was working on a project involving tile. I was introduced to Frank in floor/tile department. He had a great sense of humor and an expert in flooring. I also was assisted by Angelique who checked me out at the register she was also very friendly and customer service driven. It's was actually nice to go to Home Depot and not feel lost in a maze but was met with friendly and helpful staff.”
“I enjoy the lower cost grocery shopping, the medicine, toiletries, and general goods are all much less expensive here. When I lived farther, I would spend $40 in gas to shop at Walmart, and I'd still save in the end over shopping at the grass valley grocery store. Worth the time and effort for sure. Now that I live close enough to shop there regularly, I find myself shopping there 2-3 times per week. The staff costs them a star, the regular guy at the self check at the store off Riley has a smart mouth and is rude to customers when he thinks they can't hear him. Guy needs to appreciate his job, and stop assuming every time the self check triggers that customers are lying thieves... "everyone says they scanned all the items, but I always find what they are stealing " he quipped... thinking I couldn't hear him. After they realized it was in fact not stealing, he said nothing to apologize. So I let him know my displeasure of being called a thief for no reason at all, but he couldn't look me in the eye, acknowledging his mistake or even act like he could hear me. He just pretended he couldn't hear me. Don't assume folks are stealing , and certainly don't do it in a smart @ss insulting manner... because you were wrong, and when you don't apologize or acknowledge that fact, you look like a real piece of work. Just don't open your mouth to comment before you know the facts”
“The employees are friendly and helpful. I just wish the nursery would accept returns or exchanges for indoor plants within 21 days of purchase. Since we’re not really experts in plant care, it would be great to give customers a chance to find something they can manage without breaking the bank. The selection can be hit or miss, and having the option to return or exchange would really help ensure that patrons end up with plants that thrive in their homes.”
