My husband gifted and booked a generous two hour massage for me. He had to schedule five weeks in advance to get the therapist he wanted me to see. I rescheduled an entire day of work to be seen at the 9 am time available. My husband confirmed a week out, I confirmed two days out, and I was even sent a reminder text an hour before my appointment in which I confirmed again. I drove 35 minutes to Folsom, arrived on time and 15 minutes into my appointment, I was informed that they had missed a call and my therapist would not be coming in! And if I want to see the therapist that I specifically drove to this further location to see, they could reschedule me in three weeks! (even longer if I wanted the 2 hour service that I was originally scheduled for). I am not unreasonable. I understand life happens and would have supported a phone call cancellation, even on the morning of-instead of a please confirm again that you are coming text! After a few phone calls, the receptionist was able to offer me a partial comp on my next massage (90 not 120 minutes). Hoping my appointment – in nearly a month – will convince me to amend this review. But this morning I am simply disappointed that other businesses do not have to reciprocate the level of Customer Care and service that I am required to uphold in my own profession.

I didn’t prefer to leave a review, I called four times, no answer, and left a voicemail and one email message as well about my disappointment in my massage.. but since there has been no response, I figure I might as well express how I feel here to help to prevent anyone else from wasting their money like I did. I scheduled an hour massage here, and I left much more tense and stressed than when I had entered. The massage therapist complained the entire time about being too tired and over worked, and needing sleep and that she was the one who needed to be massaged. I asked if she wanted me to leave or reschedule because I felt horrible for being there, which she thanked me for offering, but told me to stay. I wish I hadn’t asked and just left, as I was extremely uncomfortable and felt guilty the entire time . Also because of this, as hard as I tried to relax and get some quiet, there wasn’t much silence for the entire hour, even though I was hoping for a quiet and relaxing hour when I made the appointment. Another issue I had was that the massage therapist didn’t massage anywhere below my mid back… I expected my legs and feet to be touched if even just briefly, and wish I had asked or confirmed this at the beginning as I left feeling unfinished. To be fair about that, I did mark in schedule appointment that my “focus areas” were shoulders and arms … but I didn’t think this would leave the rest of my body untouched.. wish I hadn’t wasted the money because I left feeling awful inside and out.

Sydney for facial today and it was best facial I've had at Folsom ME in 10 years! Granted I usually just get massage there. The best massage therapist at this location is Kylie! If you have tried to book with her you know as she is booked out 5- 6 weeks! Yay Kylie you are the best!! And Sydney keep giving those great neck massages with your perfect facials.

I have tried for 2 weeks to close my membership…. Apparently you need a MANAGER to close an account, and of course the MANAGER is never available. I have spoke with her on the phone but I am sure they are trying to delay this simple procedure to try and collect another monthly fee of $70. So, now be warned, it is at the WHIM of a MANAGER that they grant your request. Next is a complaint to their corporate, but of course they are the individuals who hire these incompetent individuals. Then the Better Business Bureau…..If I could give them a score less than one star, I would.

This business was very clean and the employees were courteous, professional and proficient. The deep tissue massage hurt at times but left nothing but relaxation in it's wake. Wish I could afford to go there more often!

Worst location hands down. They have cancelled my appointment same day 4 times in a row. Every time I reschedule, even with a different therapist, same thing. Not to mention my very first appointment there, same thing. I won’t be taking the chance of scheduling again because when locations are booked out and you’re in pain and make an appointment you really look forward to it. Now I understand situations come up as I was understanding the first 2 times, but really EVERY single appt/therapist……

Literally the worst customer experience ever. I have 18 credits on my account and thanks to covid and lack of availability at ME, I'm unable to use them. I asked if I could have the credits transferred to a gift card- was told No. Asked if I could transfer sessions to others- was told I can only transfer once per month. At 18 credits, that would take forever. I understand that covid has created short staffing situations for many businesses, but those businesses also adjust for their customers to make up for the business's inability to perform. ME is not only not doing that, they're completely mistreating customers and engaging in unethical business practices. At this point, it's easier for me to lose the money I've already paid than continue to support a company like this that treats its customers like crap. The companies that will survive covid are those that put their customers first. ME is not one of those companies and at this point deserves to go out of business.

I forgot to post this review a couple months ago when I got my facial from Makenna, but here it is! I loved every minute of my facial with Makenna. She was so nice, professional, and welcoming. She was able to be personable and joke around with me which I liked. She also did not talk a whole bunch like some other massages or facials I have gotten at other massage chains (not Massage Envy). Thank you, Makenna! I'll be coming back soon!

Had a gift card there in 2020. COVID-19 happened so they were closed for a chunk of it. Tried to book something in 2021 they said no and they weren't honoring 2020 gift cards. Wow.

I had a facial today and the esthetician rubbed at one of my moles so hard that it bled. She rubbed the other side of my face raw. I feel like a leper and those two areas of my really, really hurt. i think I just want to end my membership.

Great place. Very wonderful staff, checkin was so easy. Massage with Will was amazing. Was incredibly sad when the 90 minutes were gone.
