Hiral the GM is so rude, disrespectful, discourteous. Best buy should change him. The other 2 people in TV section had attitudes as well. I came to by 6k worth of TV and speakers and enquired about my Total tech membership I paid for in June for free installation and he behaved so poorly instead of clarifying why it was not being honored as per promised. Bunch of Jerks!

If I could write zero stars, I would. The manager of Geek squad here is extremely disrespectful and rude. Will never be purchasing anything from here ever again at this location and recommend anyone who's going to Best Buy to not go to this location. This manager is racist was super unhelpful. I will be calling his boss tomorrow to report him. He did not do anything with my laptop that they said they would after charging me 179 dollars for a transfer from my previous laptop I brought in. There is only one person there helping multiple people. They called me to tell me my laptop is ready after spending $800 there on a new laptop the day prior. There geek squad had multiple people waiting for long periods of time with only one person working. They were 100% under staffed. This location should definitely be shut down with the unprofessionalism of the manager & employees.

Well now. I was in need of a particular brand of cell phone charge. But I had no clue the size or fit. Plus I needed it quickly, no time to deal with ordering it online to wait for delivery. So off I went to Best Buy (BB) in Folsom. As I walked in, I realized I had no clue where the cell phone chargers would be and did not feel like wandering around all of creation looking for them. I asked the person sitting at the counter next to the door. He told me where they would be. Perfect. I found them and realized I needed two items; the adapter and cable. I googled the cable size fit. But I was stumped on what wattage I needed for the adapter. An associate came over to offer assistance. He advised me that the one on the shelf is too high a wattage for my phone. He checked the computer for inventory of a lower wattage adapter; then he went looking for them. He came back fairly quickly with one. But as I got home and tried out the items. Darn, the cable did not fit my phone. I was kicking myself for not asking the associate to verify that as well. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. Anyway, I went back to BB the next day for an exchange. I was anticipating this to not go that smoothly. I was proven wrong, it was easy and painless. I had my receipt and the cashier knew immediately what size/fit I needed. Since there was no one behind me in line, he darted to the sales floor to grab one for me. He quickly exchanged them out and completed the transaction.

We purchase a laundry center online. Delivered 10/23/23, unboxed and installed on 11/9/23. Unit not working, we called to exchange those $2000 product not return.We were told no. This is outrageous and poor service. It never worked outside the box, oh and if you would have bought it a few days later you would have 60 days - great that's not helpful! Try to get ahold of someone who can be helpful without reading the computer screen. Someone with common sense- nope! They will send a tech but if it's determined not a manufacturer issue we have to pay for it. How does this make any sense in the world. Bust Buy- just lost our business permanently. Poor service-sells broken products and does not support customers.

Folks never pick up the phone, or when they do they walk away and then you sit on the line for 20-30 minutes just to be re-routed to someone else who does the same. Apparently this Best Buy also does not understand how "Promo's" work regarding Trading Card Games so don't bother going to this location to pick up anything relating to Disney Lorcana or Pokémon.

I am sure sometimes we will need things immediately, if it is an electronic device, a cable, a keyboard, or a mouse. At least we have a local store we can get it. Best Buy is perfect when it happens. They don't have the best price. But they are more convenient. Also, you can feel and touch the product before you bring it home. The store doesn't look as good as in the old days when Best Buy first opened in California. It seems a little disorganized, but not as bad as Fly's Electronics before it closed the business. I hope Best Buy will survive. I hate to see I have to get everything online!

Please avoid purchasing from this Folsom store and the Store Manager (some young blonde lady) should be fired. I was returning my tablet today and the Store Manager didn't allow me to return even though it was well within valid return period and I was as BestBuyPlus Member. She gave me some BS reason that return window date expired even though Sales Rep tried to correct the Manager rightly. The Manager couldn't even do the basic Math right and I wonder how BestBuy even hired her in first place. I had to make a trip to Best Buy Citrus Heights instead where the store Manager said it was well within return window and happily took the product back with no questions asked.

The car stereo department is amazing! Stephan was so helpful and got everything set up for me, only bummer is they are a bit backed up on installs but will be worth the wait!

This review is dedicated to Matt who was working in the TV and home entertainment section when we were in yesterday. We stopped by to drop a computer with Geek Squad and I had been playing with the idea of upgrading our living room TV. We were looking for something OLED but also wanted something that could help us cast sound or give us quality blue tooth speakers to better optimize the audio all the way back in our kitchen.I told Matt the budget I was trying to stay within and he spent a good half hour explaining the different OLED and QLED options with us. Talking us through manufacturer differences, technology differences, the best sound systems to connect to said TVs, etc. the entire time, he NEVER pushed us to buy something. He gave me unbiased, quality information, and between the two I had narrowed it down to, he actually pointed us to the more affordable one, saying he felt the quality was better and the current sale would be a more cost effective way to go. He also gave us a run down of the Sonos sound bar systems and gave us a ton of good information we didn't already have. I have no clue if Best Buy employees in these sections work on a commission at all, but when I told Matt that he gave me a lot of good stuff to think about, he didn't hesitate at all to let us walk away. Just shook our hands, thanked us for coming in, and let us know we could let him know if we had any further questions.I had no real thought of green lighting a tv purchase that day because I am someone who really wants to dive in and do my research. After going home and researching additional stuff for about twenty minutes, I placed an order for the tv online. Pickup was ready within half an hour, I shot over there and grabbed it along with a Sonos sound bar that he recommended. Picked up some Phillip's Hue lights and called it a day. If it hadn't been for Matt's professionalism, wealth of knowledge, and total no BS, helpful attitude, I wouldn't have gotten the TV that day. Instead, we now have a brand new LG OLED decked out TV that we spent the afternoon installing and it looks AMAZING. Huge props to Matt. Somebody give this man a raise or a promotion. Or let him teach a workshop to other employees on how to be the best sales advocate you can be. Great experience overall. Would absolutely recommend if you're looking for a new TV. And ask for Matt!

Absolutely the worst customer experience ever! I have an issue with the Apple Ultra and the Apple representative working at the Folsom location was horrible! He stated " nothing I can do for you, maybe you should check google". What's the point of representing Apple if you're unwilling to support the product. Every time I have visited the Folsom store, it's the same thing.... Horrible experience! I will never visit another Best Buy, ever!! I'd give zero stars if I could!!!!

I won't be going back to this location for help at the geek squad. When they took my cell phone to install my screen protector, they made me unlock my phone while in their hand to see Apple care policy. He proceeded to take my phone into the back to install, with my phone still unlocked. When I asked to turn it off and lock it before taking it into the back, I was denied and he took off. I feel violated-they could have done/viewed anything on my phone, and I was vulnerable in the moment. Don not recommend.

Wow what a great experience tonight at this location!! Andrew is seriously so great and quick. We came in tonight for an exchange of a TV before it was scheduled to be delivered (we decided last min that we needed Bluetooth) and he quickly helped us find one better AND cheaper!

I can't stand Best Buy and will never shop there again. Their return policy is the worst ever and they make you feel like a criminal if you wish to make a return. Even if you follow their strict, stupid return policy! No wonder Amazon is shutting these brick & mortars down! Brutal!

Had a horrible experience here today. The store had a product on the shelf on display and priced at $419.99, the rep said we should buy it since it was such a good deal. So went to purchase and was told it was actually $599.99 and they made a mistake on the price. I'm very disappointed that they did not honor that price. The mistake was on Best Buy and I don't feel it is right to not honor this price. Yea it's a big price difference but doing right by the customer and overriding the product to the price they displayed is what they should have done! Calling customer support and finding out what the policy is and been transferred to different departments and no one was able to help me! Definitely not going to be shopping here if this is how they treat customers. They don't own up to thier mistake, and don't put the customer first!

Most disrespectful workers in the world. The blonde young guy in the cell phone department who wouldn't give me his name was thee most incompetent worker he didn't know anything about the cell phone service providers, nor the phones he was selling. TWO THUMBS DOWN BEST BUY. Later I'm going to Target.
