Update 4-24-2024;
A reply from Management at Larkspur Landing Folsom. " SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION".
There is " NO CONFUSION "!!! You have overcharged ME, and multiple customers in the past, it is on the Google Reviews!
I " ABSOLUTELY CONFUSED " why you think this is any less an offense than stealing a handbag off an elderly woman's shoulder????
You are are thieves, period end of story!!!!!
WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD!!!!
The Hotel Manager and Cohort Staff, (Dawn/Manager& Alan/Counter Associate) racked up MULTIPLE random, inexplicable and UNAUTHORIZED charges on my Credit Card, WITHOUT my authorization.
FOR """1""" NIGHT STAY. There were so many random charges my Bank flagged my Account, noting is as FRAUD!!!! Thank goodness my Bank had the good sense to recognize CREDIT CATD FRAUD, and step in.
Sadly, when I called to question """DAWN""", the ' alleged ' HOTEL MANAGER, she defended this CRIMINAL behavior, and evaded/excused the thievery and CREDIT CARD FRAUD that took place. She tried to explain away charges of; $100.00, $235.10 and $167.18. All in ADDITION to what I paid for the 1 NIGHT STAY!!!
I called Corporate, some lady named ' Gretta ', but never got a return call.
Having stayed many times at this Hotel, I never thought they would BLATANTLY, INTENTIONALLY, with PREMEDITATION, STEAL from me!!!
I was SHOCKED, DISTURBED, and mostly VIOLATED!!!
I am a Senior and Widow. Guess that is a GREEN LIGHT for this Hotel to take advantage of elderly, unsuspecting, feeble widows!
SHAME ON YOU DAWN & STAFF!!!
I hope this does not happen to any other unsuspecting and trusting potential guests!!!

This was the oddest place. It looked cute, kind of craftsman-like but it had a very strange vibe. Staff were overly serious. It's set up to be a place to have extended stays with kitchens. The worst part was our room reeked of ant spray. Bed was fairly comfortable. Bath was handicapped which was unnecessary but ok except for all the mildew under the built in bench. Probably wouldn't go back.
Rooms: Pretty big
Safety: Backs up to a very dark creek area. Very creepy at night. Not sure if it was guests, staff or general public but a number of people loitering around outside. No obvious security. Lots of signs indicating a high theft area.
Noteworthy details: Plenty of parking but only for compact cars if you want to park close and not walk a long ways.

We love staying here! Seriously our favorite hotel. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are absolutely huge and always clean and really help for longer travel times. They're super dog friendly and even have dog treats at the front desk available and a designated potty area with bags. This is right next to a few local restaurants, outlet mall, spa facilities and the movie theater!
Nearby activities: Outlet mall, lots of great restaurants and the movie theater right next door

Went for an overnight for a family birthday party in the area. I ended up, not wanting to use the shower when I saw it. First it started with how hard the bed was so uncomfortable. When I saw the shower, I said nope. Really gross. I booked through a third-party. I wonder if that’s why they gave me this room?

I was quite disappointed with my stay at Larkspur Landing Folsom. Despite its four-star rating, the hotel felt outdated and neglected. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a wet elevator lobby and elevator, inadequately cleaned. Outside my room, there was a stray recycling bin. The room's handle was broken, and the interior appeared to be from two decades ago, with minimal upkeep. A broken lamp switch and the absence of a ceiling fan, which was controlled by a redundant switch, indicated a lack of detailed maintenance. The thick dust atop the refrigerator suggested poor housekeeping. Additionally, the hotel initially tried to charge $10 per night for parking, despite the booking stating free parking and being located in a spacious plaza with ample parking (1,000+ spots). They waived the fee, but the whole experience felt underwhelming for an 'all suites' hotel. See photos.Update: I've reduced my rating from two stars to one star. This morning, we discovered that the bathroom condition was appalling. The wall adjacent to the shower had visible cracks, the countertop bore deep gouges, the toilet's handle was broken, and the shower was in disrepair.

Rooms are in need of an upgrade. Nothing like the Roseville property. Continental breakfast was the highlight of the stay.Rooms: Great if you're looking for an extended stay studio. Small than I had hoped for.

Okay so not a Westin, but it's not too bad. Limited free breakfast, friendly customer service. The hotel could use a renovation and would be amazing. The curtains are not black out so working night shift could be a problem. It was quiet and there was parking and puzzled in among many other businesses like a gas station, restaurant etc.

The staff at Larkspur Landing Inn are to be commended on their professionalism and kindness. On my recent stay there, they were both sensitive and helpful to my particular needs. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast they provide is great for being on the road.

Friendly staff, clean & well stocked room. There were a few issues, for instance, we got the suite and there is no AC in the bedroom (only a free standing fan) which made the bedroom hot & stuffy, while the main room was cool. We also had issues with using the ethernet, and we tried multiple cords. Overall I would stay again, just probably not in the summer!
