Overall its a very nice place and an awesome location. Easy parking also (in a tight parking part of town). Bathrooms need ventilation.

Location is great if visiting Folsom as you can walk to many things.
Nearby activities: Old town Folsom. Interesting and you can walk to it and there is a free shuttle if you wish, no need to move the car.
Food and drinks: We had a group meal here and it was very good and served by very efficient and friendly staff. The bar is great in the evenings and serves an adequate breakfast. A bit overpriced for the quality of the meal but adequate.

Before going to your room, ask the staff if there is a wedding taking place and request not staying on the same floor as wedding guests. Me and my kids were awake from 8 pm to 11 pm listening to screaming, yelling, drunk people in the hall.

A wonderful, older, family-owned hotel right on the lake. Great bar and grill downstairs. Very nice backyard/patio area. Hop on the lake trail right outside the front door. Truly a classic of the genre.

Rooms are extremely basic, TV wasn't working well as some of the channels were straight static. Air conditioner in the room was really loud and rattled. However good location and the staff was extremely friendly

The front desk agent persisted to violate ADA law and after I told her what she is doing is a crime, she then called her manager to confirm their violation and later adjusted her discriminatory behavior. She did not bother to apologize after we requested her name. Her apology was defensive. She later realized this and tried to do better

My husband and I got married at Lake Natoma Inn over the past weekend and it was breath taking! Jackie was our event coordinator through the whole planning process and was absolutely amazing and so kind! Her communication was excellent and answered all questions right away! The hotel staff were so sweet and kind to myself and all my wedding guest from the moment we checked in to the day we checked out and everything in between. The rooms were cleaned and the beds were comfortable! We had Justin as our bartender during the reception and he killed it!! He was so awesome and our guest raved about him being so nice and making good drinks! All the staff during our cocktail hour and reception were the sweetest and helpful if anyone needed anything they made sure it got done. The food was so good, seasoned very well! They made sure the food was hot and replenished as soon as it was getting low!! Thank you Jackie and Lake Natoma Inn for making our wedding and weekend so memorable!!

We stayed one night. Secured our room from the front desk and proceeded to inspect it. Initial inspection of the bed showed small blood spots on the sheets, leaving the impression that the sheets were not cleaned/sanitized.
After reporting this to the front desk, they were happy to switch me to a different room since there was nobody on site to change the linens till the following morning. Inspection of the second room yielded better results, though the bathroom handle was broken.
Leaving the hotel after check-in was...eventful. one of the elevators had vomit all over the floor. This was shortly after happy-hour. I was forced to lean into the elevator, call it to a different floor and wait for it to leave before calling another elevator. This was reported to the front desk. We were also told that the stairs only took us down and outside and we're not accessible other than that.
The following morning, I proceeded to the lobby to check out. The elevator still smelled of vomit, though the mess was cleaned up.
The staff were kind and inviting, though I had higher hopes/expectations for this resort.
