This store is so short staffed! Are they going out of business! There are boxes everywhere. The employees are doing their best but the company is clearly abusing staff.

Called the store to ask if they carried bark cloth. The lady said they did not. I figured a large fabric store like this would have it.

My review is for the Folsom Joann location. I did an online order of threads and I needed ten threads. The website said all ten were in stock at that store. I did my order and paid for it. Would go to pick up curbside the next day. A few hours later half my order was cancelled and refunded. They actually only had four of the items there. Huh?? So in an effort to save myself time...I ended up having to go to pick up these few items and go to a different craft store for the rest. Also, when I went in to pick up my order the store was a complete empty shell...with bare shelves everywhere. Super weird. Won't return to this location unfortunately.

Staff is very nice. Store did not have many of the things their website said was in stock. In particular, we stopped by to get an iron-on for a school project and almost the entire wall had tags prompting you to order online. Our fault for waiting to the last minute but still very frustrating. While it’s not the store’s fault, the website is very unfriendly to users - defaulting to a store 100 miles away and crashing when trying change store. My overall recommendation would be better inventory management.

I've never seen a Joanns so poorly maintained. The floors are disgustingly dirty throughout the store. The merchandise was jumbled all over the place. I'd rather make the trip to Jackson as that store is far superior in many ways. It's a shame to see a store in this disarray.

I get my craft stuff here I really like Joann's it the best store ever I like getting beads so I can make bracelets for people and I love doing crafts so much

It's a smaller store, but has everything you might need for a project. Helpful and friendly staff, it's my go to store for fabric and craft supplies.

We were out and about and spontaneously decided to stop and let my daughter pick-out some yarn. We were pleasantly surprised to see the "animal friendly" sign on the front door since our new fur baby was hanging with us. Awesome yarn choices too!

I've shopped various JoAnn stores over the decades spending thousands. Yesterday I bought a remnant, pre-wrapped. At home I saw it had snags and runs in it. I attempted to return/exchange it but was denied as I had no receipt. The checker initially asked the manager how to accomplish an exchange but the manager was strict: no receipt, no refund /exchange. I said, "it's defective" but she didn't care. Two noteworthy things: 1- Per federal law "retailers are REQUIRED to accept returns only if the sold good is defective...and per CA law, "Where an item fails, shops DO NOT have the right to demand a receipt". 2- JoAnn has a "reward" program. To receive rewards one must have the checker scan the bar code of your account on their app. I assumed this kept record of purchases. NO. For a record of purchases one must provide the checker with phone number. The two options are not linked, ummm. I suggest you use phone number, I've never received a JoAnn reward. I can't even find info about it on the app. If one who has spent thousands upon thousands can't return/exchange a faulty product there is surely ill sentiment towards customer. Employees at the location I presently shop ( though only for quick necessities now) are fantastic save for one. These wonderful employees can only abide by corporate dictate. But if not for the sentiment of decent business JoAnn should still be instructing employees to follow the laws. They should also be clear about their "rewards" program and be clear about the fact that by trying to use it one disables oneself from a record of purchases. It disappoints me that JoAnn Corporate has always seemed so very reluctant to honor typical customer respect.

I picked up my order from this store today. The maneger Athna has excellent customer service skills and other employees are friendly, too. Highly recommended!

I went in with a friend to buy a sewing machine. On the first day they told us to come back the following day when the manager would be in as no one working knew anything about the machines. So, today we went in hoping to speak with the manager; who we were told had left to go home for the day (it was 1:00 pm). So, then we were told to speak with Elizabeth who was at the fabric counter. They weren't that busy (now I understand why). I was told to pull a number so we could be helped in order (I was right after the one she was cutting fabric for). When my turn came, she couldn't spend more than a minute as she was concerned someone might walk up to the fabric counter which she could see--no one was there. I would think someone buying a machine for several hundred dollars might take precedence over someone who might be coming to the fabric counter where the average purchase is likely around $20.

Let me tell you how awesome this place is. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING! Any type of fabric you want, they have. I think I want to go into sewing now because of how much stuff is in this store. I appropriate the help from all the employees there. Very friendly, helpful and definitely kind. I'm sure going to let the world know about the owner who dropped right in my life at the right time.
