I went to Home Depot on a very busy day to purchase custom cut blinds. Mark in the flooring department went well out of his way to help me. He did an excellent job and prevented me from accidentally purchasing blinds that wouldn't have fit in our window space. Before him Mary and Cliff (prior employees) had also gone above and beyond to help me. Mark is a true asset to the store ensuring customers like me return again and again!

Went in Friday night 2/9 needing to replace a garbage disposal. Older gentleman in a mask working in plumbing took a look at what I had and guided me right to the proper disposal and accessories. Changed it out myself the next morning and saved $150.00. Didn’t have to wait for someone to come out. That guy needs a raise and is hopefully training the rest in plumbing.

Always impressed with massive inventory and fair prices. Employees are extremely helpful. I have never had a bad experience and go there often.

1/29/2024 Loud noisy dishwasher, bought new for $700, cannot have a conversation in the kitchen while it is running. Home Depot has to know they are selling garbage. Advise buying appliances somewhere else.2/2023 Unfortunately they no longer carry Unistrut steel and parts.

I had a fantastic experience at Home Depot purchasing a washing machine working with Tina M. She made printouts of what I needed, made some notes for me and gave me advice on questions to ask the installation guys to make sure every thing was in working order before they left. She then walked me to the cashier Karen, stood there until my purchase was complete and done correctly. I walked away very very satisfied!!! This was different than the night before at HD when no one was around to help .. more people are needed like Tina M and Karen!!!! Way to go!!!

Oh my gosh. This company is a mess. We bought carpet from HD. On the evening we went to HD there were no carpet people available to help us. A young man did the best he could but had no training selling carpet. (Kudos to him as he tried hard to help us). We were able to pay for it online. Then we got a call from somebody with a very heavy accent. Eventually my husband got hung up on. Agent said she couldn't hear him. She did call back though. When will the carpet be delivered? At HD's convenience. Not ours. An email will be sent for us to call and schedule. What the H? We have a schedule too. Does HD care about that? There are either too many or too few chefs in kitchen at HD. HD, please listen. When making a big purchases it is preferable to work face to face with a live person. Choose the carpet, sit down, pay and order, schedule a delivery and provide a detailed receipt. The customer leaves happy. This isn't rocket science. Stop all of this online and phone calls. Completely unnecessary. And we, the customers, are NOT happy.

I've had around 30 Christmas trees I know how to add water and keep them fresh.I have never had a tree die in 2 weeks half the needles fell off the tree in 2 weeks .I saw when I went to pick up the tree that most of them were just tossed on the floor with no water. But I figured they might have juuust got them so wasn't too worried.

Not blaming the guy who's FIRST day it was. Left on his own to run the saws in the back of the lumber department. It's the numerous employees asking if I was waiting for help, saying they'd be right back or how unacceptable this was after I told them I'd been there for 20 minutes or so, well after I waited with 2 small children for upwards of 35 minutes to get 2 sheets of plywood cut, decided I'd cut it myself at home.... got in line. Granted the checker was trying to make light of a terrible situation, none of the barcodes worked. She had to call the very same guys I had been waiting on the entire time to price check everything. Question me whether it had been cut or not.... I outwardly laughed at how unbelievable the entire situation was. Numerous times i considered waking out. After so much time invested, I mean wasted, waiting for help, why leave? I typically shop at the Rancho Cordova store, it's further from my house... looks like I'll still be going there instead. Thanks HD.Happy to give my patience at the cost of bad service. Keep it up.

if only zero rate that is the best star for this store in Folsom CA & Rancho Cordova the worst store unlike Contra Costa County the best Home Depot in town with excellent service. They need to train workers in good customer service to deal with all walks of life people in this community.

I usually love coming to this department store, but today, one lady and one lady in particular changed my whole perception and understanding of how this specific home depot operates. This evening i went in when it was less crowded, hoping to get some help i needed near the paint dept. and there was this lady, who appears to be a older aged, white female, that's shorter, with blond curly hair, named Kathy. She saw that i was waiting at the desk, for someone, for almost 10 minutes, and complexly blew me off, not offering her assistance, and forcing me to walk around the whole store to find someone to come and assist me, this lady is what is wrong with todays SOCIETY in every shape and form. I have no clue how she got a job here, and if that's home depot's requirements for people to become employed there then i would say that is ridiculous. If you need anything in paint or related, i recommend shopping anywhere but this store, or else you will be handled the same exact way! Thanks Kathy!Best,Upset Customer!

The most horrible rental department I have ever worked with... With almost 20 years of renting equipment I have never witness such unorganized, incompetent and laxidasy service. This place is got to be losing a lot of money or they're just way overcharging altogether in order to make up for All their lawsuits

This store is great at providing product but this review is for the lack of lighting in the parking lot. It is pitch black from 7 pm until the store closes. It is not safe for women, customers or drivers as no one can be seen. I would hate for someone to get mugged, hit or trip due to lack of lighting in the parking lot. There are lights in the lot but not one was on. Why? There's no excuse for not making sure your customers and workers are safe on the premises. It's brighter at Chik Filet.

I just tried to just pick up an order. Only one person at the customer service are working. 2 others just talking. I waited for 20 minutes then just gave up. I cancel my order and order it with someone else.

Usually a good place to shop & we typically spend at least a couple hundred a month at Homedepot. I cannot understand why you need to have blaring creepy monster blow ups talking/making noise the whole time nonstop. All the Halloween blow up monsters creep myself and my kids out. Avoid during September & October especially if you have kids that are sensitive to this. This is a home improvement store not Spirit Halloween
