Rather than go into lengthy detail of our horrible experience, I will just say this: read the negative reviews (especially the Yelp ones), as there is a lot of truth there. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to consign here, which is sad because we had great experiences back in 2017/2018 but not this last year. That said, if you do, make sure you have zero care for the item you are selling to the point to where you'd be okay with donating it. IF you still decide to consign and care about your item, make sure you take a full 360-video-walk-around of your item, covering every inch top to bottom, showing the date and time at the location AT the time of drop-off. You will surely need it to later prove the condition your item was in when you dropped it off(!!!) Not worth the headache, imo. Good luck!

Contacted the furniture manager to find out if they were interested in some furniture I had available to consign. some of the furniture I sent them pictures of was approved. I was told that I may bring it in at my earliest convenience. Contacted them about two weeks later when I was ready to bring in the furniture and the furniture manager said they had not approved any furniture that I had sent pictures of. they only had pictures of furniture they had not approved. I was a little bit perplexed being that I had spent quite some time getting the furniture approved and had not tried to sell the furniture myself based on their approval. The manager was rude and dismissive but finally did his job and found the emails pictures that I had sent him of the furniture. I had contacted them again that day and ask them if they had the ability to move the furniture for me because it was too heavy for myself and my husband to move ourselves. I was told that they would send me a quote within 2 hours. That was several days ago and I never heard back from them. I went ahead and sold the furniture myself. I would definitely not recommend them if you have furniture to consign.

We went in to check on my diamond wedding band that had been sitting for a while. The blond woman at the jewelry counter was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We hope our ring sells soon and that it’s also going to be as good an experience as this.

I was pleasantly surprised with this new discovery. The store is large and has both new and consignment items. I found a pair of leather chairs at a great price. There's also a jewelry counter and a connection to moving service if your items are too large or heavy to move yourself. I will be back to see new inventory. I am consigning my large 6-person patio set there.

We bought 2 sets of furniture and brought truck and our SUV to load. they had no one to help us. my 68 eight year old husband and I had to try pick heavy furniture. They had one man which didn’t want to work, lazy and unwilling! they were telling us if you want the to move it with independent company and they charge you. it just didn’t make sense to have no one to help us with loading and insisting on independent moving company with very bad attitude. never going back again

I sold a piece of furniture that I loved but just did not work in our new home here recently and the process was super simple. I appreciate that you email them a photo first of what you are trying to sell and then they decide if they want the item before you go out of your way to load the car only to be told that they don't have a need for it. Once I got that green light, I loaded up and parked my car, let them know I was there and someone helped me get the item out, as I was a little limited with having kids in the car. They took my info, explained briefly how it worked, and I got a check in the mail about three weeks later. So easy! I briefly looked around (as mentioned, had the kids in the car) and it looks like a fun place to explore when I have time. Note - you should probably mention to staff that you are there to sell, as another couple was sitting in their car waiting (I didn't realize they were there, let alone in front of me so I inadvertently cut them without meaning to) for someone to come out to them. Just a heads up to avoid what happened to me.

Very bad experience with the jeweler Mike. He is very aggressive, condescending, and rude. He will attempt to "educate" you and tell you why you're wrong about wanting something specific.

went looking for a couch and an older lady spoke to us in a very unfriendly and unwelcoming manner so we were turned off and left. The next day I decided to give them another chance because I found the merchandise interesting. Was helped by Jerry and wow did he turn our experience around!! After purchasing a couch I wanted his card to make sure I ask for him and turned out he was the store manager...well deserved! Will be back for more!

I love this place, it has awesome deals, I’m a designer in the area and I buy so much from them pretty often for my business and clients. I would normally give them 5 stars but the store manager is very rude and comes off raciest. We ve noticed how he helps other people hire customers compared to Latinas. I’ve also noticed how he speaks to his workers very demanding and no please.

I was disappointed when I arrived at Home Consignment Center which was my first visit. There are two reasons I wouldn’t go back.1. No public restroom and the owner said customers don’t mind, they will go next door to Trader Joe’s.Google:Does a retail store have to have a public restroom in California? This bill requires a place of business that is open to the general public for the sale of goods and that has a toilet facility for its employees to allow any individual who is lawfully on the premises of that place of business to use that toilet facility during normal business hours, even if the place of business does ...2. The Jewelry Manger said something very strange to me. I asked him about repairing my diamond bracelet which is made of single-cut diamonds. He said if I replace the cuts who say that you won’t say they fell out and want them to be replaced. And he said I do not want to repair the bracelet.I said, Okay. His words haunted me all afternoon when I got home I mentioned the incident, to mydaughter as the jeweler said.We came to the conclusion he was questioning my integrity or my skin color. All I can say... I felt insulted.

Very rude, unhelpful staff that leave you feeling like an idiot. Attitude is very stuffy or better than though. If I could give the store zero stars I would.

I was approached by Sandy who was so very helpful positive, and patient. I had been looking at this picture there for at least a month (it was way out of my price range). I would pop in just to look at it. It was very very expensive but oh so beautiful. The picture had been moved and I looked for it in the store for at least 15 minutes. I started feeling sad because I thought it was gone and the " shoulda coulda woulda" set in. Then I saw it up in the corner. . . When Sandy asked to help me I told her my story and she said sounds like this picture is meant for you, lets check the price. To my surprise it had been reduced and was now in the just barely affordable range, I actually cried tears of joy in the store when she told me the price. Somethings are meant to be. The picture is hanging in my home and I love it!Thank you Sandy for just being you!!!

Mike at the jewelry counter is the best!! Very knowledgeable, kind and fair. They can help you sell your jewelry that you just don't wear anymore or make you something new with it. Or get a sweet new piece! Worth checking out. And they always have fun furniture and household items to add to your home.

This home consignment center next-door to Trader Joe's on Bidwell was absolutely fabulous to me. I bought a second bench to match one that I had gotten in Danville at the home consignment center there. Got it home and the legs did not match... Uh Oh, I understood there were no returns at the consignment center but, Lois, the manager made an exception, called all around to find one with the legs that my first band, Chad, got it for me, and took the one that I had previously (mistakenly) purchased. I thought it was quite generous, and felt treated respectfully and appropriately. I love this store!
