By far the worse customer service of any mortgage company. My experience has been when calling customer service no one knows what they are talking about. I had payments made on time and they reported late payments to my credit report, then argued they where right. Only to go back and realize they messed up and had to remove them due to their own error.

If your looking for a mortgage loan Jeff and his team are the best! My wife and I sold our home and purchased another home with a half finished pool along with many other complexities that were tied to the house. Jeff and his team were excellent to work with! Jeff was professional, friendly, and knew what he was doing. I highly recommend him!

Attempted to purchase a home for my parents. They pulled my credit without my signed approval. Then when I asked what I needed to do to do to obtain pre approval, they initially told me one thing and then confirmed it again a week later, then as I fulfilled their requests they told me that what they had said wasn't accurate and moved the goal post! Everytime I tried to speak with them they said they would call me the next day and I wouldn't hear from them until 5 days later. I tried to get an explanation of everything going on and they couldn't provide an explanation. I sent an email stating my disappointment with their service and asked if I should use a different lender and they basically told me BYE! I never even heard anything out of the actual loan officer. Not great service. I ended up using a different lender and loan officer who was able to get me pre-approval that same month and I was able to close at the end of the month no problem. If it's a small loan this loan officer and their assistants don't care about you. I wouldn't use them if you are expecting somewhat of a decent service.

Jeff Compton and his amazing team helped my girlfriend and I purchase our first home. Being first time home buyers, we were a little nervous and didn't know what to expect. Jeff was referred to us from a family friend and he and his assistant Dena were extremely helpful in making sure that we understood exactly what was happening throughout the entire process; Even to the extent of introducing us to our realtor, Peter Parker. Jeff and Peter have great synergy and we were able to close our loan in just 18 days! With all of the competition that is present in the home-buying market right now, we don't think that we could have purchased our home without the help of Jeff and his team. Jeff Compton and his team (thanks Dena) were so patient, helpful, informative and quick to respond to any of our questions! Jeff also hooked us up with a great relator, Peter Parker. Jeff and his team made such a stressful experience so much nicer! They worked so diligently to get all of our paperwork through underwriting, even when we had difficulties getting approved. Jeff and his tam worked it out! Even now, after the work is done, they still answer all of my questions right away! We couldn't be happier with our experience! Thank you Compton team!

Jeff, Shelley and Austin did an incredible job getting my loan closed at a good rate. They explained and answered any questions I had and especially current laws regarding Fanny Mac loans.

We first met Jeff Compton, who I refer to Superman, through our realtor, Peter Parker, a local neighborhood, Realtor (actually true). Peter and Jeff truly performed a Marvel task to ensure we closed on our home. We have since refinanced with Jeff a couple of times. He and his team have been absolutely AMAZING! They are responsive, informative in explaining and simplifying the process, expeditious, and we’ve been extremely happy with the loans they’ve secured for us. More importantly, I can truly say that I believe Jeff is looking out for our best interest. He has extended himself and always personalizes his service. I give Jeff and his team the highest recommendation!

Jeff Compton, Dena Holmes and the entire Team Compton at Guild Mortgage have been an absolute blessing! I’m a first time home buyer and heard horror stories about the whole loan process. Not me!!! ’ve had nothing but an amazing experience from my first call w/Jeff & all the through the whole process.
I have a very unique personal situation and was shutdown by numerous lenders within the first 2 minutes on the phone. Jeff and his team never made promises they couldn’t keep, were honest about possible hurdles & worked nonstop to get my loan approved when no one else would & with a good interest rate!!

Jeff and his team are AMAZING! Buying a home can be one of the most stressful things you do but NOT with Jeff's team They are quick, efficient, and will keep you calm until the day your loan closes. In my opinion they are the best and personally the only choice!!!
We arrived in Jeff's office with more than one challenging issue that could of worked against us. Jeff and his team refused to let these obstacles get in our way and he had our loan approved in LESS than 30 days. Thank you Jeff Shelley and all the Compton team!!!!!
