Cool bit of history. It can be a short or medium trail that lets you explore really cool period machine shops and power plant. All next to the river.

I'm so glad we stumbled upon this really cool piece of California history! Tom, the volunteer, was so helpful and well informed to give so much more appreciation for what was there. And this led to an amazing view of the bridges and river

Awesome place to visit. The docents are really interested when visitors ask questions, it'll make their day! I talked with the docent that he showed us a secret: there are two huge beavers that made a nest at the bottom of the downspout of the turbines! They were as big as Labradors!Restrooms: There are restrooms halfway down from the visitor center to the power house.

Super interesting. Was greeted by really friendly docents at the visitor center who gave us a really informative tour. I love history so this is up my alley. The powerhouse itself is beautiful, industrial and architecturally interesting. The grounds gave picnicking areas too. Just a nice place to be. Highly recommended.

Loved the history of this place. Very fascinating to tour through the buildings. The equipment and apparatus in it are in good shape and great to look at. The gentleman who was there was very knowledgeable on the system. Very much worth a visit.

Nice little museum close the the historic Folsom town center. Parking is 10$, but it's well worth the visit as it is an amazingly preserved hydro electric station that wasone of the first to generate electricity for Sacramento back in 1895. It was operational until the 50s and then became a preserved park hence all the original equipment from the era.

Awesome historic park. Should be able to see everything in a short visit while exploring the town.
