This review is for the parts department. A very nice and professional individual named Jim helped me figure my Toyota Camry's battery warranty situation out. I had called other dealerships and they kept on giving me the runaround and BS me. I called in and Jim instantly and tirelessly helped me with the information needed. he went above and beyond to relay the proper information to me. I appreciate people like Jim, these are the people who make a big difference in the reputation of the dealership and I already referred several people to take their service there. I also referred family members to this dealership to make their car purchases there. Jim is the prime example of excellent customer service and its appreciated. I very much recommend this dealership to everybody who needs a car or service.

Never taking my car here again. Bad sales when you go to get a service. Didn’t even look at my service plan through Toyota. Marked up a service order for $1k on top of the service plan I’m purchasing through Toyota. My car is 1 year old and in pristine condition. They’re not even good at selling it. Snakey inexperienced salesmen pretending to be service writers. Id rather drive an hour out of my way to Hanlee’s rather than go here. They make you opt out of their additional services like 3 times in hopes that one of those times you’ll accidentally click yes (through a third party app/website nonetheless), and then you owe them money. Any other shop would call you if any additional work were required. These guys send you a shady link, and then wait for you to make your selection/signature before doing anything at all. Again, in hopes of you accidentally clicking ‘yes‘ to their bogus additional services. These are borderline predatory business practices meant to trap people into coughing up dough for things they don’t even need.Hey, but at least they’ll meet you at your door when you pull up. lol what an absolute joke.

First time here getting my car service. The advisor Anh was great. Explained everything to me, answered all the questions I had. Give me upfront the price for my service. Overall great experience. When I go pick up my car, went to the receptionist table, and the young receptionist helped me out. She was super nice and helpful. When she handed me the paperwork, the price look different than was quoted to me, which took me by surprise. So I had to confirm with the receptionist that this is my car. I was about to ask if the price included the 15% off promotion for the day. The whole reason why I come in the middle of the week. The older receptionist shot me a mean look like I'm not allow to ask question, which is very unprofessional. So I just sign the paper and left. The whole great experience was ruined by her.I heard of lot of great things about this place before I come here and I can confirm it is mostly true. People are super friendly and helpful. They are not trying to overcharge you. They would explain everything to you on what needs to be done upfront. And I really like that after the diagnostic, they send you a text instead of call on what need your attention, so you have time to think if you want to fix it on the same day or not. Overall, great experience. Except the last minutes where it was ruined my the mean receptionist. I would like to appreciate the younger receptionist though. She was very nice and helpful to me, very professional.

I have been having my cars serviced at Folsom Lake Toyota for at least 15 or more years, and they always do a great job. When I drop the car off the attendants are friendly and helpful. They check the car in and put me in touch with my service advisor, Rick Brown. I trust Rick to be helpful in meeting my needs, whether it is an oil change or a major service. He is honest, sincere, and treats me well. Thank you, Rick and Folsom Lake Toyota!

This service place is awful. Took my brand new 4Runner for service. The dint the fiberglass inside the car and did not put tire air cap back on. How you can trust your car with these people. I live in Folsom but will never take my car to Folsom Toyota service center.

I've used this location 4 times for maintenance and I can say appointments mean nothing so don't bother. I leave it and head to work and an oil change still somehow takes 9 hours and Im waiting on it. My goal was the convenience but as it's not actually convenient at all, I recommend hitting mom and pop shops near your home so you won't end up hanging out in the lobby like I have, for way longer than I should, on basic maintenance for a booked appointment and 9 hours of time to do anything.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I have had many a good experience with Folsom Lake Toyota Service Center and there are a lot of good techs there but my last few visits have gone exceptionally well! And that's all thanks Anh Vo! He is an amazing Assistant Service Manager, he helped me get a great deal on tires and an alignment. And he also helped me out with an oil change and multi-point inspection! He has very friendly and warm service and answered all my questions no problem. Both times I came to service my car it was done quicker than estimated and I really appreciated that!! Because of Anh I now don't have to worry this season and get to be safe on the road this winter with my new tires. I'm also grateful for the Sunbit payment plan that was made available to me as well. Everything was super quick and straightforward and I couldn't be happier with my whole experience! I'm so glad I have a someone I can rely on when it comes to repairs and tires! Thank you so much for helping me get on the road safely! I appreciate you Anh, you're the best!!

Michael St. Pierre AKA "Rocky" provided the most exceptional customer service. This was my first service with my 2015 Toyota Tundra, and I had initially brought in my vehicle for a oil change. Since this was my first service since owning the vehicle, I wanted to be sure I had a multi point inspection completed. Though an oil leak was found near the cam towers by the engine, I was very happy to hear the seals were covered under my existing extended warranty. Rocky was sure to keep me updated throughout the entire warranty process to have the repairs covered. While my vehicle was in the shop for 11 days, I was able to have an rental vehicle for the weekend while the service was completed. I'm thoroughly impressed with all of the staff and the technician that worked on my vehicle. I am looking for to having future services at Folsom Lake Toyota for my family and I with all of our vehicles. Best regards, Matt

Let's start with the fact that I am the owner of 3 Toyotas, 2 of which are still under warranty. My new 2022 Sienna with only 18k miles on it won't start. I decided to tow it to the Toyota Folsom station closest to my house. From the very beginning, I realized that something was wrong with this service center because they asked me to pay $1000 for diagnostics, although I explained that the car was new and still under warranty, to which I received an explanation that if it was confirmed that the problem would be solved under warranty, then I would be ok I won't pay. As expected, after 3 days they explained to me that the repairs would cost an additional $3,000!!! Took my car back with tow truck. The whole experience with this service is just a disaster, never come here, don't do anything with them!!! You will be scammed!

I've taken my new vehicle here forToyota Care service. I've been working with David McAlexander who is very friendly, honest and professional. David has always looked up recommendations and provides his honest opinion. I've been able to work and bring my laptop while waiting and am never there more than a couple of hours. David is knowledgeable and I would highly recommend seeing him for your vehicle needs.

Did a 5K appointment for my Toyota Camry and was not super happy about it. They do basic check but don't even vacuum the car or wash it. I guess I am pampered because of owning a Mercedes before. Scheduling was easy & took only about 90-mins to finish up the job. They are well staffed and the waiting space is good.

Had my inoperable car towed here in September 2023. When I called to make the appointment, the person said because I was a first time customer, the diagnosis of my car would be free. Once I got there at my appointment time, it wasn't clear where exactly I needed to go, so I just went to the service advisor that was sitting nearest the door I walked into. There I told him the issue with my car. We were starting from scratch, and my appointment name/time never came up, so it feels like I didn't actually need an appointment. This person also told me, regarding the diagnosis being free as I was told on the phone, only actually covered a very basic check, and my car would need the $180 version of the diagnosis. I didn't expect things to be free anyway, so that wasn't a big deal.I received a call about 4 hours later, they had diagnosed my car, and estimated the price for the repair, and said that the part would take a minimum of 7 days to receive. He didn't explain why, but, it's hard to imagine that there was no way for them to overnight or 2-day ship the part from somewhere else. Maybe it was coming directly from Japan? Very puzzling, and probably something the service advisor should address without the customer having to ask why something takes a week to obtain. Anyways they said I could leave my car there for the 7 days. Ok.I called in 6 days later asking for an update, and was forwarded to the parts dept. who said that my part had arrived (somehow before the minimum 7 days I was told by the service advisor). The parts dept guy was friendly and helpful. When I tried to reach my service advisor to ask when the part would be installed, I was told he was off that day and that someone else would call me. No one ever called. So the next day I called back and my service advisor was now in, and said it would likely be done within a few hours. And a few hours later I got the call and came to pick up my car.The price of the repair was as expected. My main gripes when receiving my car are: 1) my car was filthy. I know they have a car wash attached to their service area, and certainly expected that for nearly $1000 in repairs that took 7 days, they would at least run it through there. Instead I got a very dirty car, much dirtier than when I had left it there. 2) the "porter" who went to retrieve my car was an older guy, maybe 60-70+, and he seemed to have a bad attitude. When he pulled my car up, he waved me over, then said "This you?" and gave me the key. Seriously, he should not use his hand to wave someone over like that, and he could have been even a tad bit friendly. I'm not sure what that person is doing working there, or why management allows him to interact with customers. All in all, it was a "meh" experience. Got a filthy car back, bad communications, waited a week, rude porter. The parts department guy was friendly and called me back when requested. They have some kind of automated feedback system that texted me asking for my feedback after the service was done, and I replied about receiving a filthy car, but heard absolutely nothing back. Next time I have to take my car to a dealership, I'll try a different one.
