First time that I've used a dealer's shuttle service without someone making me feel like I was a burden. The advisor, office staff, and shuttle driver were all friendly and accomodating.
By the way, the paint match on the rock chips that were fixed was perfect. Car looked good as new. Thank you.

UPDATE 8/22/2024:
LAST TIME I DRIVE MY CAR WAS 4:30PM ON MONDAY 8/19/2024. MY 2024 KIA SORENTO WITH 800 MILES ON IT HAS A DEAD BATTERY AGAIN!!!! I WAS SOLD A LEMON AND THIS DEALSHIP DOESNT CARE!!!!!! I DO NOT HAVE A RELIABLE CAR.
Folsom Kia Service has gone way down hill. I call for a service tech to call me back, absolutely radio silence for days. I emailed the owner of Folsom Kia, radio silence. Literally disgusted with their service dept. I have owned a Kia for over 10 years and they were never this bad. I highly recommend going to Roseville or taking that extra drive to Elk Grove. Unbelievable how ppl are treated.

They are never on time with any appointments. I’ve been going here for years and even a simple oil change will take 3+ hours (my average wait time has been 4hrs, I’ve waited as long as 6 before). The reasoning is always “sorry we’re short staffed”. They are ALWAYS short staffed… so how about you stop scheduling so many appointments and only commit to as many as your workers can handle? They only care about the money and therefore schedule as many people as possible, even if they know they can’t handle the workload. It’s unacceptable and a horrible experience. The service advisors are meh and the receptionists are never pleasant. At best, they’re neutral and dull, which is not great. How about you try and hire some actual happy people? Who care about their job?
Ever since I switched to Roseville Kia it’s been great. Significantly less wait times, cheaper prices, AND the workers have been cheerful and friendly. I highly recommend everyone checks them out. Even though it’s a 20min longer drive for me, i would SO much rather go to Roseville Kia then suffer through another day at Folsom Lake Kia.

I am very disappointed with my service with Folsom Lake Kia and the customer service that I have received. My process started off well when I was able to get my car towed and I was given constant communication, however when they told me my car was under warranty, they made me only pay for one day to have a rental car just for my car to still not be fixed, and the representative by the name of Rudy who was diligently helping me, stopped returning my phone calls after he stated that my car would be ready on Monday August 12, 2024. I have been without a vehicle even though they stated it would be covered and without my car. The least that could be done is routinely updates about my Vehicle seeing how I am a single mom who needs her vehicle to get to work.

I could not be happier! I had the pleasure of working with Matt F from sales and the Matt in finance. They both went above and beyond to assist me, now I will never use another dealership!
Huge thank you to Matt F in sales, HE'S THE BEST!

Hi Folsom Lake Kia Teams,
I wanted to reach out to provide some feedback on my recent visit to your dealership. I stopped by yesterday to check out some new models and ask a few questions. As someone who has purchased both of my Kias from your location, I have always held your dealership in high regard.
However, during this visit, I must admit that I was a bit surprised by the level of customer service I received. When I walked in, I had to wait for a few minutes while I noticed that the staff was engaged in casual conversations behind their cubicles. This was quite different from my previous experiences where I was greeted promptly and assisted right away.
The feeling I got this time was that the sales team was picking and choosing which customers to prioritize based on some criteria. It made me question if the customer service standard at your dealership has changed or if it was just an off day.
I understand that everyone has their moments, and this might have been an isolated incident. However, as a loyal customer, I thought it was important to share my observations with you. I believe in the value of constructive feedback as it helps in continuous improvement.
I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and ensure that all customers receive the same level of attention and service when they visit your dealership. Consistency is key to maintaining customer loyalty, and I believe your team can deliver on that front.
Thank you for taking the time to read to read this and I look forward to hearing back from you soon. I remain a fan of your dealership and hope that my next visit will reaffirm the great customer service I have come to expect from you.
Best regards,
Loyal Customer Michael

Just both the new Kia Niro and Matt at Folsom Lake Kia made the process seamless. I was able to negotiate pricing online and via phone and only spent just over an hour at the dealership. Will definitely be looking at them or their sister afore dealership in the future!

I just purchased a car from Folsom Lake Kia, and I couldn't recommend this dealership more! Joe Romiez, my sales guy, was extremely helpful in finding the right car, knowledgable and answered all my questions, without delay. He went above an beyond to make it as easy as a process as it could be. I would highly recommend this dealership, and next time I buy a car, I'll be looking for Joe!

Okay … HORRID customer service. Walked in and lady at front desk barking orders at me about some tow truck that has nothing to do with me. Service department is useless and the sales rep kept “sighing” because I don’t know the vin off the top of my head which was not even needed to look up a simple part. If y’all are so miserable then work elsewhere!!!!

Would give 0 stars if able. Horrible service. Unfortunately was placed with a man named Andy. He was rude, did not take me seriously (assuming due to the fact that i’m a younger woman) and discussed personal information in front of strangers in the lobby rather than at a desk in private. He made several rude comments such as “do you even have a job?” and assuming my credit score rather than asking (when i have great credit). I asked several times for him to show me numbers, he wouldn’t do so then proceeded to say “well it doesn’t seem like you’re buying this car today are you?”
HORRIBLE way to treat a customer. I walked next door and happily bought the car from Folsom Lake Ford. Would HIGHLY recommend avoiding Andy, unless you like sexist ageist men that aren’t willing to give you the time of day.
(Would HIGHLY recommend Folsom Lake Ford and even more so recommend working with Trevor Park for car sales).

I'm specifically rating the service department. If you have anything going wrong with your vehicle they take forever to get you in, take forever to fix the issue, and are horrible at keeping you updated during the repair process. There was a defect with my moon roof and it randomly shattered. They had my vehicle almost a month before they decided it would be a warranty repair. During this time they had my vehicle and wouldn't give me a loaner vehicle or provide a rental. It took almost another month to actually do the repairs. I have had another issue with my vehicle randomly losing power and then not being able to go any faster than about 20 mph. It seems to usually happen when the service department isn't open. The scariest time it happened was getting on the freeway. I finally had it happen during the day and took it straight in to diagnose. They refused to see me and told me there was no one available to diagnose it. I will never buy another Kia. Once they have your money they don't stand behind their product.
*Update: I found out they actually caused the issue with my vehicle randomly losing power. I took my vehicle in for a recall check and they failed to reconnect everything in the engine. The first time the issue happened was when I picked it up from the recall check. They couldn't replicate the issue and sent me away. Elk Grove Kia finally discovered the issue and fixed it.

After our Kia Telluride was totaled in an accident (and kept us all safe!) we knew we wanted to replace it with the same car. We found it at Folsom Lake Kia and really appreciate the great service Kevin gave us!

I totally understand why this establishment has so many poor reviews! (see yelp reviews... far worse than here on Google, for some odd reason.) Both times I brought my car to them (first for regular maintance, then for warranty work), the car sat on their lot for days untouched (4 days first time; 2 days beyond when promised the second time), and the second time, only 2 out of three warranteed items were completed. I had to be proactive and call to ask for status of my car--repeatedly!! They take in WAY more vehicles than they can possibly service in any reasonable amount of time. Yet they claim to have "excellent" customer service...what a sham! Truly, consider your other alternatives for servicing your Kia!
