Shopped for a Jeep Wrangler around the greater Sacramento area and ended up at Folsom Lake with a good selection of new and used vehicles. Had a great experience with our sales associate, John Miles, who helped us find vehicles with the features we wanted at the price we could afford. We visited 4 times over three weeks before finding the perfect vehicle for us. Low pressure, friendly service, and we walked away with a vehicle we are excited to have at a great value. Thank you Folsom Lake CDJR!

James Smith was awesome to work with. We came from Roseville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and they weren’t friendly at all. The second we came to Folsom CDJR we felt welcome and were greeted by James who listened to what we wanted and what we were looking for. We feel like we got a great deal and we will absolutely refer our friends and family to James with Folsom CDJR!

We called in last week because we were having issues with our car having a long start. They advised that there were some recalls that needed to be addressed and more than likely our issue was caused by a fuel pump that needed to be replaced. I called them because they did not call me to tell me that the car was ready for pick up. When I was on the phone with them I asked them about the long start and they stated they did not have any issues with the long start. When they returned the car to me, it was already running and I did not think to shut off the vehicle and turn it back on. I drove the car approximately 4 to 5 miles away from the dealership, turned it off, went into Safeway, and came back and realized that the issue was still there. I called Ram and they advised that since they fixed the recall issue already that they would not provide a courtesy rental, and at this juncture, they were treating it as a separate issue. Now fast-forward three days, my husband drove the truck to school and back to pick up our children and the truck will not even start, it shut off in our driveway. It seems to me that ram wanted to fix our recall issue, knew that there was an issue with the long start, and allowed us to pick up our vehicle without diagnosing the issue so they would not be held accountable for fixing the issue that the recall problem caused. Now I need to bring the truck back on a tow truck and we will be responsible for any charges that are accured due to this issue. It sounds to me as if this was strategic and definitely was underhanded. I’m very disappointed and the only reason I am going back to the dealership is because of the type of truck that we own. There are definitely ethical concerns with their processes, and I am very dissatisfied with the level of service that was provided. The video that is posted is when I brought the truck home, how they didn’t notice the issue is beyond me.

I had an excellent experience buying my new car here. Everyone was friendly and personable. No games or high pressure. Just good honest business. I highly recommend buying your next car or truck here.

We have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. We have a service plan that includes Oil change and tire rotation. We had an oil change on August 6. When I returned home I checked the oil to make sure it was full. When I check I noticed that the oil was dark and didn’t look like it had been changed.. I also looked at the filter location and it was dusty and did not look like anyone had touched it. I also check and the tires had not been rotated. I called and talked to the service writer. I explained what I observed. I told him that I noticed another jeep at the dealer that was the same color and maybe they worked on the wrong jeep. He said he would check the video footage and get back to me. After over a two week wait I never heard back. When I called they said they were still working on getting the video. I decided to drive down and talk directly to them and show them what I saw. They had a technician look at it and he agreed it didn’t look like anybody had changed the oil. They did an oil change and tire rotation along with an air filter. I check the oil again when I got the jeep home and the oil was a light amber color. That was a pretty good indicator that I was correct that they didn’t charge the oil. I’m glad it was taken care of in the end but It’s going to be hard to trust them in the future.
