Had THE best experience at Folsom Automotive. I made a huge mistake and overfilled the oil in my car. It was leaking more and I knew I had to get it looked at. I drove over to the shop unannounced and put my worries to rest. They took me home while they waiting for an opportunity to squeeze my car in, then adjusted the levels and after they fixed my mistake they brought the car back to me. And they didn’t charge me. Such amazing service and I will continue to bring my car here for years to come.

I work at the AT&T store down the street, about 5 mins away. I went in today angry and very frustrated! I came into the shop hostile because of what I perceived to be overcharges for my co-workers car, she is like a little sister to me. So I have to admit that I came in very upset but the two guys working in the front truly took care of us. At first, I thought they where trying to get over on her but after speaking with them I could tell they truly care about customer service and actually taking care of their customers. I wouldn't be saying it if I didn't believe it. After doing everything they could, I was calmed and felt like they really did take care of us. Sorry for coming in hostile and thank you for taking your time and having the patience to truly take care of my co-worker and her car issues. Come in anytime for AT&T service, I promise I'm a nice guy!

Had a great first experience with these guys. Quentin provided great service and their team diagnosed my problem and got my vehicle repaired with genuine parts in a timely manner.Highly recommend!

Folsom Automotive provides hands down 5 star service. All work was explained to me in a patient, professional and descriptive manner. The prices were fair and beat out two other quotes I had received from competing businesses in the Folsom area. I spoke with Tom on the phone at least three times before bringing my car in and his knowledge of parts and service along with his kind demeanor was a breath of fresh air compared to past experiences at auto shops. I highly recommend Folsom Automotive as both as they provide both expert and ethical service.

Called to get advice on how to fix an issue so I could get somewhere safe and was told, "We don't do tech support over the phone, we're a repair facility." Okay. That cold, uninviting customer support will do you harm. No compassion or understanding, just coldness. God bless you... ☹️

Wow! What a great shop! Took my Jeep in for the 80k service and was pleasantly surprised on all aspects of their service. Tom kept in touch through a text system that kept me informed each step of the way. I was able to okay an extra repair and Tom was able to match a competitor without me researching so I feel like the best price was actually given.I feel well taken care of at Folsom Automotive and actively recommend them to my friends and family.

5-star service every time! When we moved to the local area, I was in search of a good repair shop for our vehicles. What I found was a GREAT repair shop! My family has always been treated with respect and kindness. This shop operates with a high level of integrity and it shows, not only in their craft, but in their people development. I had an awesome experience with this shop. To my surprise I needed a lot of issues fixed with my car. They addressed everything, explained it simply enough so I was actually able to comprehend the need, but also did all they could to help narrow down the cost I think Tom was who I appreciated above all, he was so honest and knowledgeable, understood my stress of the whole situation. I have full trust in this shop ☺️

Customer service and time management - 2/5Quality of car service (oil change and tire rotation) - 4/5I had taken an appointment a week in advance for car drop off early in the morning and pickup during lunch. On the phone, the customer rep at the office agreed and confirmed the timings. However on the day of drop-off early in the morning (8 AM), they said that they can only do the service if I pickup at 5 PM. I had no other option but to go with it since I was already there. This is something that the company can improve upon if they want to retain their customers after the first service.!From the aspect of oil change and tire rotation, the service was good since the person gave me good details both electronically and manually regarding the future services that need to be done.Services: Tires

My car would not start and I suspected it was my battery. My normal mechanic could not diagnose it until the next day and possible parts could be another day, but Frank Rice (Service Advisor) at Folsom Automotive Service said they could help me as soon as I could get the car to them.The tow truck was delayed and I arrived to their shop at 4:00 pm, so my expectations were low. They were able to run a quick diagnostic, which confirmed the battery and I drove out at 5:30 pm! The whole staff was helpful and nice and it was nice to find a yummy brewery (Red Bus Brewery) a short walk away.As a female, finding a reliable mechanic in a time of need is surely my mechanic for life!Service: Auto battery replacement

I haven't done actual business with them because I couldn't get the answer to the question I asked. I called to request a simple ball park estimate for rotors and brake pads(assuming they all need to be replaced) and got some bizarre run around about bringing it in to do some sort of diagnostic to check hydraulics and other items. I literally asked for a ballpark estimate for strictly for rotors and pads. I'm not trying to spend money to find other things "that need to be replaced". Tom was nice but It honestly just seems like another way to get money. I just want the pads and rotors, it's that simple.The crazy thing about this is I called another locally owned auto service and they happily gave me a ballpark. They understood the assignment and they weren’t(seemingly) trying to get one over on me. Obviously there are plenty of other places to take my business, but this didn’t sit well. Seriously, why can’t you just do the brake pad and rotor change without checking everything else? I just can’t wrap my head around it.

I took my car here after an over heating incident. I was spoken down to when asking questions and a thorough work up was not done. My car was here for over 24 hours and I was never once updated unless I called. I was told that my car was driven around and never once overheated, but when I left and drove my car a few miles, it immediately overheated. I was charged $200 and had to immediately take it somewhere else to be worked up. The issue was found and taken care of. Do not waste your time or money here. Also, as a woman, I felt so dismissed and I definitely won’t return.

Oil change was unable to be accommodated by the new location Mgr, Tom.We always take our vehicles there and were always accommodated by Sarah or the other lady in the back office. However, this was not the case.It may take 2 hours to do oil change but explaining the concern of limited time due to job restrictions for govt agency is usually accommodated but not this time.Its unfortunate they are willing to lose a customer. I will take my two vehicles to different location.

Scheduling an appointment was quick and simple online. The digital system for explaining the necessary work needed on my car was very clear and convenient to view online. I’m very happy with my first experience here and look forward to coming back in the future!
