Blue Ravine Animal Hospital is simply the BEST Vet service I have used over my 55 years of responsibly owning dogs. I am grateful to have had them recommended to me many years ago by other dog lovers. They are the "bomb."

This is a great, clean establishment for scheduled visits...ONLY. If something goes wrong with your pet...you need help...you're screwed. They basically tell you it's a one month wait for a visit (no matter how established you and your pet are as regular clients). They sincerly don't care if your pet dies, they say, "sorry, go to an emergency vet." What's the point of having an established Doctor for your pet? Well, I learned the hard way over 15 years....no point. This place was good when they were in a small location across from Target (you know....actually on Blue Ravine). When they moved to the big, fancy building on Iron Point, this vet kinda just became a money churning operation. Sad. Wish I left when they moved. And changed.

Staff was welcoming and knowledgeable and genuinely cared for the pet. The facility is bright and modern, clean and comfortable. I couldn't imagine a better experience and am grateful to have been able to take the pet to a place where I know he will be so well cared for.

Excellent Veterinary practice. Reasonable prices and great service. We have Bulldogs which is one reason we picked Blue Ravine. They are known for being experienced with brachycephalic dogs.

I have been taking my dogs to Blue Ravine Animal Hospital for the past four years and am overall happy with them. Dr. Wolf is an absolute sweetheart and is always incredibly informative and thoughtful when I bring my pup in, however, it is definitely a hit or miss with other vets when Dr. Wolf is unavailable... I've been rushed in and out of the office with disgruntled vet assistants and front desk personnel on multiple occasions, which I can understand to a point as BRAH is always quite busy, but when you're literally paying small fortunes to have your pet(s) examined, you expect better care. Hoping the next time I need to come in and drop $300-$500, I won't be so rushed and can get all my questions answered!

They are "not accepting new client" so just save yourself time and put downs your animal at home because this place doesn't give a s*** about "new clients"

I am updating my previous review from 3 stars. Dr. Sweet and her staff went out of their way to do everything possible for my Dobie that had DCM. Then, when it was time, they helped him transition to the other side on his journey to the Rainbow Bridge. I cannot thank everyone enough, from Trisha, Katie, Jax, Dr. Sweet, Dr. Reiman that helped my one true companion in this world.

If I could give more stars, I would. We have gone to Blue Ravine religiously for 5 years for our English Bulldogs. We love Dr Wolf and have never been steered wrong. However, we recently had a chance to experience Dr. Wu and we were equally impressed. On September 19th, we took our 5 year old English Bulldog in for two lumps. We received the devastating diagnosis of cancer. They scheduled surgery for October 5th but put us on a cancellation list for an earlier appointment. Our daughter worked at another vet hospital and pulled strings to get our dog in on Sept 27th. So, we canceled our surgery with Blue Ravine as we felt time was critical in this matter. Then, we received a phone call from the other vet hospital the night of Sept 26th canceling our surgery and rescheduling for Oct 11th!! We were so upset and told them don't bother with rescheduling. We called Blue Ravine and explained the situation. The soonest they could get us in was Oct 5th. I would take it. I was clearly upset over the phone but understood this was our fault. I emailed the team pleading to please put us on a cancellation list once again. No sooner did I hit send on the email, then Blue Ravine called and could get our dog in THE NEXT DAY!!! They did not have to do this nor did they have to show sympathy for our plight. Dr. Wu and her staff went above and beyond the entire process and I am happy to report that Jersey the Bulldog is cancer free!!! We will never ever stray again!! Blue Ravine customers for life!!

Fawn is a rescued pitbull. After hearing all the bad things about the breed I was afraid I did the wrong thing. My worries were all for not. She is a great dog. A great friend to me and our other dog snickers, a miniature schnauzer-poodle mix. Snickers is half or less her size and they play together all the time. Fawn has the typical knee problems and now has both her knees surgically remedied. The right knee j I st last week she had a different orthopedic surgeon this time. Her therapy is much like when I had my knees replaced. Which is great. 3 days today after surgery she is walking a little to do her business and just to change scenery within the confines of the house. She still has meds for pain and infection as this is major surgery but she is putting a little weight on the leg and getting up and down on her own. The staff at blue ravine is always accessible and knowledgeable to any concerns. The surgery seems to be doing well and she should be able to get back to normal faster than I did. I love Dr Wolf who is our friend and doctor at Blue Ravine. Fawn is a little high strung,Dr Wolf and the staff are always so patient with her. Can't say enough about their knowledge and care of both our dogs.

As someone who doesn't typically leave reviews, I absolutely had to share my experiences thus far with Dr. Walther. My husband and I took in a cat earlier this year and she has had PLENTY of visits to see Dr. Walther for some different health issues (some could very well have been me overreacting and being paranoid). I just have to say that each time I have come in, Dr. Walther has been extremely patient with me while providing very thorough, helpful information for my high maintenance little girl. I always leave feeling much less stressed out and all questions answered. His passion for helping our fur babies is very clear! We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful vet!

I've been taking my dog to Blue Ravine Animal Hospital for over 9 years. My dog is prone for ear infections and occasionally I have to order additional preventive prescription meds. Yesterday, I called in for a prescription, was assured I can pick up the medicine for my dogs ear infection. Later the next day, I was told I can't unless I make an appointment?????

Beware of this scam of a place. They don't care about your animals they only care about making money off of you. I've taken my Great Dane Charlie there for a couple years because it's convenient; I'm an established client. He's gotten check ups as well as a surgery. The last time I was there was forced because they wouldn't approve flea medicine with Chewy until I brought him in for a check up. Ok, fine. The $45 check up turned into $130 somehow because they gave him a flu shot like he's a human and a couple other things I didn't ask for. Then they brought out an estimate for a $1300 dental bill. Excuse me? He is three and doesn't need that. Like I said just trying to steal your money. Currently my dog isn't going to the bathroom because he's blocked up and I tried to order a laxative through Chewy which has to be approved by a vet. I explained what was going on over the phone and they told me I needed to bring him in "to discuss his constipation" and run some tests. Discuss his constipation? He's just not pooping I'm not sure what else you're going to tell me by bringing him in. I basically begged on the phone to just approve the laxative to see if it helped and then I'd bring him in if it didn't. He also just had a check up a few months ago. I don't have time to bring him in! I know what's wrong with my dog and now they're causing him more discomfort by being greedy. They should be doing everything they can to HELP animals. They only care about the money in their pockets. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. Katie-I was told on the phone that a laxative would be the first step regardless. And no, a 3 year old dog does not need $1300 worth of work done on his teeth nor does he need a flu shot when he has all the other vaccinations to protect him.

Every time we've been here our boys have been treated well here, just as we spoil them with love and affection, they get that here. Our guys are spoiled and can get pretty anxious away from us (as we do too) and they do so well here. We've brought them here for surgery, visits, and concerns and pricing is pretty fair.

I have been bringing my animals to this hospital for 20 years. Brought my dog in for an appointment with my husband and was forced to sit in the car ans talk to a tech through half of it and then they only let my husband go in and they are making me sit in 105 degree heat in the car. There is no longer a mask mandate, we are both vaccinated. This is beyond over kill and seems excessive at this point. I should be able to attend my elderly dogs appointment. Years ago this vet was amazing but the bigger they get it just seems as they no longer care about the pet and owners as they once did. If only one person could be in the appoinment they should have notified us of that when we made the appointment and before I took work off early to be here.

The doctors and staff are great!! They took awesome care over the 14 years we had with our female WGSP, we lost her at the end of 2020. We have had a couple of sock issues with our new puppy and they were right there to help!!
