Helpful, friendly, and has a lot of good stuff, but they don’t keep their hours. This is twice now I’ve shown up before 5pm and they’re already closed. Not closing, but full fledge closed, lights off, staff gone 10-15 minutes early. Needed an emergency part for a water leak and now have to drive 40+ minutes to Home Depot.

While working on a garage project, I discovered I needed just a few items that I would normally get at one of the big box stores. However, they were over 25 minutes away. So, I stopped in at Patterson Hardware hoping I could find what I needed without driving a long distance. This store did have what I needed. The gentleman that helped me was very kind, pleasant and willing to show me around the store. Unlike there bigger stores, this hardware store provides personal service. The prices are competitive and reasonable. It's a throwback in time, situated in the original downtown Fillmore. This one street has the barber shop, post office, and a variety of other businesses that a small town needs. Patterson Hardware is a nice change of pace and I plan on going there whenever I can. I only hope that the big box stores do not come into town and put this "mom and pop" store out of business. I encourage all locals, and those passing through to give them a try! Thank you to the employee that helped me out.

This was my first time going to Patterson's and I have to say that I was very impressed with the kind and very helpful staff. The were well stocked and reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.
