It’s bad I went Ik today I asked nothing off the top and Chris proceeded to cut it still not the first time he’s done this to me. And I asked for a lineup and he pushed my hair so far back I could fit my whole hand on my forehead. Hate don’t recommend this place.

What's the point of taking appointments if you're not gonna honor them? I came in 20 minutes before the appointment. There were 2 people waiting, I'm assuming walk ins, they were regulars, I'm not. 5 minutes after my appointment both barbers become available including the one who made my appointment. 1 person comes from outside and gets in the chair, I'm assuming an appointment and one of the walk ins gets in the other chair. Waste of time and energy.

Carlos is great barber I always come here to get my son and my hair cut here he definitely makes me feel young again lol I still got the looks when I leave this place

My appointment was at 1pm and the individual I had my appointment with arrived 10min early (I was 15 min early). I never expect an early appointment but when it happens I give two thumbs up and keep taking my business to them! Amazing haircut and awesome experience! Great with the blade! Definitely recommend ??

I usually go to Great Clips in Simi however wanted to try local. So I 1st went over to Cotas on 5/7/21 at 10:15am thinking they were open, but closed sign on window. So drove over to here, since I didn't have an appointment (lesson learned) waited 30 minutes, and I got to say it was worth it, Oscar totally hooked me up with a really nice fade for $20. Definitely going to make Oscar my guy from now on.

Went in for a trim on the sides and very front. They end up cutting all my hair short going against what I asked. When they were cutting off the top, I thought they were doing a bit of a fade to go with my original length but by then it was too late.

First thing I noticed when I walked in was the bad odor. We've all been around someone who doesn't have the greatest hygiene, But this was pretty bad. There were two gentlemen both wearing the same shirt, which appear to be a work shirts, so I assume it was one or both of them and not the employee. No big deal. So I disregarded the smells and sat down. I remained seated for about 20 minutes when two ladies entered and sat down. The male employee spoke to them briefly then made a phone call to what sounded like calling another employee asking them to come in and help. When the female employee arrive she greeted the two ladies and immediately sat one down in her chair and proceeded with the haircut. At this point it has been about a half an hour and he just now started on the second gentleman's haircut. About 10 min later, another man walks in and briefly spoke to the male employee then had a seat. At this point I still figured I would be the next customer in line. Well come to find out the man who just came in had stopped in earlier for a haircut, but decided to leave and come back later. So the male employee finishes up the second of the two gentlemen's haircuts and rings him up at the register. At that time the man who left and came back stands up and sits down in the chair. Being that I had waited so long I decided to speak to the employee and question why. The man sitting in the chair was quick to speak up saying that he was there earlier, but left to do some "stuff" and was just coming back. When I questioned the employee he looked at me puzzled like he didn't understand what I was saying. I asked if he didn't mind taking me first because I've been here waiting so long while this gentleman was out doing other things. After I explained it several times he kind of shook his head and said I don't know then referred back to the man sitting in the chair. I turned to the customer and asked if he wouldn't mind letting me go first and he declined. The male employee then referred over to the female employees saying she can cut my hair. Then why didn't she seat me right away when she arrived instead of ignoring me and seating one of the ladies? IDK this place is like there is no rhyme or reason. Seems like this employee or both should be trained on how to deal with this type of situation rather than refer to the customer. That's a pretty nice policy... you can go get lunch come back and now you're in front of everybody else that's been waiting, just as long as you show up first. Lol This is actually the third time I've been to this establishment the first time was OK the second time the haircut was horrible leaving behind uneven hairs all over. However being local and not very many options around I decided to give it a third try, well this will be the last.
