The Chew Kee Store was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 as part of the Fiddletown Historic District. It is a rare example of rammed-earth adobe construction.

We didn't get a chance to go in the museum but the park located next to it was very nice and clean with new playground equipment and clean public restrooms. The area around the park was scenic and nice enough to walk and explore a little bit as well. Parking is across the street which is the main road through town so beware of traffic. Great spot to get out and stretch your legs n get some fresh air when traveling through the area.

Super cool historical place in Fiddletown. I had no idea it was even there. Worth a visit on a Saturday, to learn a little about the history of the building and the town. Lots of artifacts to look at and most of the building is just how the previous occupants left it.

This a great place of history the ole Chinese herb store and knowing the Chinese where here for such a long time ago and the knowledge. We should all invest into a membership to show support to keep these shops open for our visitation.
