Really good park! You essentially get two parks in one (redwood + kind of beach like)

We’ve stayed here twice and really enjoyed both trips. Most of the spots are a good distance from each other and/or well shrouded and give a little bit of privacy between other campers. Restrooms are some of the better campground facilities I’ve used, especially the showers.Plenty of beautiful trails nearby and just a 10-minute drive from a grocery store in the town of Felton in case you need anything.

This campground in the forest provides fresh air and a comfortable place. Each site has its own fire pit which needs a bunch of wood for the campfire. There are quite enough faucets on the ground near the site. The restrooms are clean and well-organized, but too old. Some of them are closed to be repaired. Those should be renovated. There are a couple of parties playing music very loudly. If your site is away from them, it'll give you even better experiences. And, just walking will create dust all over your shoes.

This has been my "back yard" for most of my life. Sometimes I forget that the old growth redwood trees are some of the most amazing things on this planet. The Redwood Grove loop trail is a must-see if you are anywhere nearby. Much like looking at the night sky full of stars, these trees are a humbling reminder of how small we are and how fleeting our few decades of life on this earth are.

Nice camp ground with large camping site space and great view of the forest and nature. We enjoyed the trails and saw many different horse riders riding the beautiful horses even they created dust and excrement all the way on and off at the hiking trail. The down side - showers were out of order and it’s really hard to do a coin shower for me. I think the restrooms and showers need it an upgrade and remodeled soon. Overall, we had good experience enjoy nature during the weekend gateway.

Beautiful campgrounds with ample tree coverage. Each camp site has a fire pit and bear proof locker. No soap in bathrooms and showers are coin operated and only take quarters.

Great spot, access to the trails of the state park, very clean and well maintained, plenty of water near campsite.Campsites come in variety of views bigger ones for larger groups in the middle covered by beautiful trees and some around the clif edges with a wider view of the valley. Staff were super nice and friendly and very helpful with directions and things like that! The showers are coin operated (hate those!) so bring quarters!Cleanness: very cleanViews: diverse and goodFee: 35$ per night, fairAccess: not far to Felton and there is a little convenience store 3 minutes away from the entrance

We used the campground entertainment to access the park and hike there. You can access the pipeline trail through this entrance, the trail is paved, shaded, mostly flat, and has very nice views. From there you can get to most of the hiking trails, park areas, and the roaring camp.

The campsites were great. Super spacious and lots of trees. Classic fire ring and picnic table. The bathrooms weren’t the best. No soap or paper towels. And only one shower worked in the womens bathroom and not the mens.

Clean campground with bathrooms and showers. Lots of different camp sight options. I definitely recommend looking at a site map when picking your campsite. It was nice to have close proximity to water and bathrooms. The inner sites have a lot more shade but trend to be closer together. A hilly campground so I recommend bringing your kid's bikes! Our kids has so much fun riding bikes around the campground loop. They sell firewood at the front entrance, $10 per bundle.

Clean and good for camping for one whole day , few things to mention- one car parking is free and additional cars are chargeable-10 dollar per day . Bathrooms are clean , sufficient waters are present .. quiet hours are from 10 pm to 6 am that’s kind of annoying. Specially with kids and bigger groups it’s not possible to be quiet completely before 12 so quiet hours should be changed atleast reduce the night time . Other wise all are good ??

Excellent campgrounds. Restrooms with showers! Just need to bring quarters. A lot of hiking trails thru redwoods trees nearby. The Santa Cruz broad walk, the beach and Costco 15 mins away. AT&T cell service available two bars. The best of nature and connivence nearby.

Great place for camping. Firewood pit per camp ground is convenient but also causes a lot of unnecessary ash flying in the air. There Two camp grounds share a water shed. The showers are dirty but the bathrooms are clean. Parking is $10 per night. Camp site reservation per night is $35, very reasonable.
