I guess we should have looked this up more looked like it might be kinda cool but we did not realize it just a structure they put up because of a children's book that we have never heard of and over 700 granite stones to read on, no thank you. It's $10 bucks each person. The $10 let you walk up all the stairs to the church and upstairs spiral staircase and in the pyramid that has absolutely nothing in it. This should have been 1.5 stars very in impressive.

Very odd place. The only reason we stopped here was because we happened to be driving through on an alternate route to Phoenix from LA. The area seems to be very barren. Nobody was here when we stopped - it seemed pretty creepy. Took a picture from the freeway to get the whole scene - it's pretty much a parking lot, a few buildings, and a spiral. Would pass on this one.

Very disappointing came all the way from LA to see this interesting place. On the webpages and all over the Internet it says it's open, but in actuality it's closed. There is a little sign that says open week days on request and then on weekends tours, are every 15 minutes or so

Very nice place to visit. Summer time, not recommended. $10 per person on the honor system when no museums, restrooms etc. open and no tours is too much to ask for. A donation box would be much more reasonable.. Beautiful place and a TON of history! Looking forward to coming back when open.

A must place to stop if you are driving on Interstate 8, it might be the center of the world or not but it has interesting stuff to see and learn. Dogs are welcome and drones are not.

It's a interesting place. The marble plagues are wonderful to walk through and read. I'm amazed someone took the time to design this. He did a wonderful job!

We went as a party of twelve to watch the parachutists. After checking on line and finding no mention of them offering food or drink, we all packed a picnic lunch. On arrival there were no signs about a restaurant or about not bringing outside food or drink. As we were waiting for the parachutist to begin, we all started our picnic. We were verbally assaulted by not one but two employees/owners who left no doubt they were not happy with us. We all paid ten dollars each to view the parachutist and was made to feel like xxxx for eating our picnic lunch. After the show, we checked out the restaurant, this turned out to be a taco truck, parked alongside a building. Operated by a young man with a sneezing problem, right into the open food items UGH. Not someplace we would ever return too, bad businesses should never get repeated customers.

This stop was a gem - and dog friendly! An incomplete history of the world, with major Star-Trek levels of optimism for the unbroken future to fill the blanks. Our tour guide was unbelievable, and went above and beyond in taking pictures for us, giving out excellent information, answering questions, and even had suggestions for other local roadside spots to visit. We had the best afternoon, I could not recommend this place any more strongly. Extremely conveniently located, filled with charming people and sights.
