Stay away from this practice. We have been going to Fallbrook Animal Hospital for almost 3 years ever since we moved to Fallbrook. It used to very good but all good doctors and staff left this place. The new staff is very rude and will order all kinds of tests and X-rays that is unnecessary. We have been feeling the decline in service ever since the staff changed but today’s experience was horrible.
We have a 15 year old blind and deaf dog in his last stages. He has some food allergy and today when he woke up one of his eyes were swollen and red. We ran out of the eye drops and made an appointment to have him checked. We got there around 9:15 and no one was there. They immediately put us in the room and one tech came to check his vitals and he was nice. He is one of the old staff. After that we were in the room with a dog who just want to get out of that place for over 45 minutes before the doctor Brittany LaBelle came to check on him. She said she is the sub for the day. She looked at his eyes and said we need to do dry eye and eye pressure tests to make sure how bad his dry eye problem and left. Later another lady ( I think her name is Ashley) came in with about $800 worth of lab tests, x-rays and other charges. We asked if the doctor checked his previous records and the response was they had to do all these tests to prescribe the medication. I told her that we wanted to get the same drops that were prescribed before and they said they don’t have any records about his eye issue. When I told her that if it is a dry eye problem then it should be there always. She got upset told us to take your dog somewhere else and left the room slamming the door. When I asked the front desk lady to give us our dogs records and she asked us to sign some papers that they offered service and we denied service. When we told them that we are not signing any papers they told us that they will call the animal control that the dog is suffering and we are not giving him treatment. We asked for our dog’s records and they told us to get out of the place. Then the lady at the front desk tried to escort us out and told us that we are trespassing.
We went there because they are our dog’s vet and how could we have been trespassing? Their rudeness was unacceptable.
Later I got a call from someone who identified as calling from animal control and I was really surprised they lied about my dog’s condition to them. They reported that my dog has bad teeth. I have a 15 year old dog and had him since he was 4 weeks old. Yes his teeth has plaque but the previous doctor wouldn’t put him through the ordeal. Typically animal control is called if the dog is being abused but we took our dog to get treatment. This is a very bad place.
Stay away from this business.

I take my youngest cat here . At first because it was the closest too me and now because the care they've provided for my boy was amazing. Prices are comparable to other local vets. They treat my baby as if he was there own. I can usually get in within a day of calling.

I must say this new vet group really doesn't give you the time of day. I was a old patient back when Dr. Ferguson ran his vet practice and wow there is no comparison. Dr. Ferguson would call me if i had questions plus he would squeeze me in if my dogs had any issues. I have called multiple times with concerns about my dogs and needed to schedule an appt as soon as possible. Bottom line they basically tell me sorry we have no time to see your dog go somewhere else.

We’ve been here multiple times and we always have a very pleasant experience. The staff all seem very friendly. My only frustrating situation was most recently when the veterinarian recommended we do bloodwork for our dog. And we agreed then when we went to pay the bloodwork cost about $500. We still would’ve done it knowing the cost, but I feel like anything over a couple hundred would be good to give people a heads up before they take the blood.

5 stars for the two receptionists up front. They dedicate their time and hard work everyday. I've seen countless rude customers in the lobby that Liisa and Makayla handle extremely well. Their consistency and kind words make it so I keep coming back. These two women are awesome!

We've been taking our pets to Fallbrook Animal Hospital for 12 years. Dr. King is the best. They always get us in right away and their charges are reasonable. The important thing is that our pets are safe and healthy with them. Our dog is 14 going on 15 and still runs around like a puppy.

Love the new staff! Very professional, friendly and efficient! I see Dr. King, and I love Love how she is. She seems to be in it for the sheer love of animals! I have 5 “scratch-N-Dent” dogs as I call them so we are in a lot! They always get top notch care!

Very fast & efficient. My husband & I brought our dog Sam in & we were in & out within 20 minutes- he hasn't gone to his follow up yet but within 2 days of his medication it was a night & day difference. Dr. Ann King was great!
