“I've been to the store a few times since it changed ownership and have to say it's just a pleasant experience as before. The owner is very kind and helpful. I came to purchase some soup jars for a couple of welcome gift baskets. I found what I needed for the basket and then some! I love to browse at the clothing line. I have to say I am not a fan of shopping for clothes (jeans and t-shirt kinda gal) but on occasionally I will find something to wear for country living and camp outing's. I did just that this visit, found some warm clothing for the upcoming cold weather. The store is always on top of keeping up with the fashion trends and the fashion that coincides with the seasons. This visit, they hadn't got all the winter wear out yet since we are still having warm days. But the owner was happy to pull out more styles and colors of a specific wear I was eyeing on display. This type of customer service as well as the merchandise keeps me coming back here. Is nice to have a local place to shop for gifts or your own needs. “Jerry created a 4' x 4' jigsaw puzzle table for my wife several years ago. It has 4 flat drawers for pieces. I put casters on it so she can spin it around while she's working on puzzles. Jerry made the top so it has a slightly raised edge for stopping pieces from going off the table. My wife had a piece of plexi glass cut to fit inside the table so when she's finished a puzzle she puts the top on it and it becomes a coffee table with a cool puzzle centerpiece. Of course she won't let anyone use it as an actual coffee table haha.My wife is an avid puzzler so we thought it was worth the cost. And we now have unique piece of furniture that we cherish.
