As solid as the day is long would be one way to describe the folks at Pape' Machinery in Fall River Mills. I'm a recent property owner in the valley and quickly realized it is real business to manage your land up here. No fooling around allowed. I stopped by the local "John Deere" dealer (Pape' Machinery) to see what they might have on the used lot. Well, to no surprise, just like bikes, old trucks, and houses in Montana, everyone went out and bought a used tractor during Covid. Ha. I'm here in the valley for the long haul so with Clay's help, I leaned in for the purchase of my first tractor. I was told by my buddy in New Hampshire that i needed to have at least 25 HP to the PTO. JD 3032e was the solution. It was late on a Friday and I could tell Clay was busy wrapping up the week and had another customer to help as well. I offered to come in the next morning to get the new tractor. The next morning I arrived on time and Clay was there. It was only then that i realized he had driven in on his day off. Nearly an hour! All in order to help me get my tractor while I was in town for the weekend. Clay's accommodations continued throughout the process. He delivered the tractor to my place later that day and helped me get her set up. He delivered all the implements as they arrived and has always been available to answer questions. If you are near a Pape' Machinery store in Fall River, ask for Clay. But don't worry if he's out. The rest of the team has been incredibly helpful as well! Enjoy!

after buying a tractor that was advertised as having 275 hrs I drove 5 hours to pickit up. Once I arrived I noticed the tractor had over 600 hrs on it. I was told the tractor had been rented out. They offered to come to my house and perform the first service for free. I asked the manager if they had sercice records for the tractor, he said no. He also had no idea when the tractor had been serviced last. I was obvious the tractor had not been serviced at all. The manager said they would be at my house within the week. The following Tuesday I inquired about the free service. I was told they would not be coming this week. As of right now I have no idea when or if they are coming to forfill there promise. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU DO IT IN PERSON. They took the front weight mount off the front that was in the picture and what I thought I paid for. The air cleaner on the tractor was stuffed with dirt and I spent 30 minutes cleaning it out with an air compressor. The back of the tractor had hydralic oil all over it and had hay stuck in the left back wheel and you could see were they painted over dirt. The engine oil was way over due and black and thin. I have pics to prove everything.
