Double S was recommended to us when our diesel truck (towing a boat!!!) quit... no clicking, no clacking....nothing. AAA had to tow us from Burney and Double S was the recommended shop. John and crew are so conscientious and honest. They ran codes, they talked to us, they kept us informed (even though we were not easy to reach) and they fixed our truck. Their price was more than fair; their service was super and their courtesy was better. I do wish I were closer to their shop as I would take our truck there regularly. They are great. Thank you, John for saving our vacation-- I had visions of me hitchhiking south on I-5 trying to get our boat towed home without our truck--- that didn't happen!

Owner is very helpful and will take the time out of his day to give you his advise quickly. Other shops often tell you they can take a look in a week or so. In my opinion ion this is very helpful for people that don't have a week to kill! Good work ethic that cares about people.

This is our go-to mechanic and we bring all our family vehicles to Double S. They are always friendly and manage to fit us in when something goes wrong. The work is quick and thorough and the prices fair. Being a female, it's sometimes hard to feel like you get treated fairly at a mechanic shop, but I have zero reservations when I set up service with John and the guys. They listen and do great work that lasts. We have brought them big and small trucks, jeeps, and even our small, commuter car and the work is always solid. They are also great for smog, tires, and ac charges. Big or small jobs, I trust these guys and while I hope to not have to see them often, it's great to know I have such reliable service in town.

Brought my 1987 Ford bronco to John at Double S Automotive to see if he could figure out a no start issue with my electronics. John’s notes state there was nothing wrong with relays or anything electrical. There were burnt wires plain as day coming from the starter solenoid. Ok no issues I figured I’ll get the truck to another mechanic. While the bronco was at the shop, it was broken into and Double S and John refused to utilize their insurance to cover the damages that happened in their shop. If you take your vehicle here just know you are at risk of having your vehicle broken into and things stolen from your vehicle. With no recourse from double S. That is beyond unprofessional and I’m still shocked that they won’t fixed the damages that happened on their property
