I had an outstanding experience at The Solano Napa Pet Emergency Clinic with my dog Willy. Their care and dedication were truly impressive. The entire staff from the receptionists to the veterinarian, was exceptionally helpful and attentive. what stood out the most was the genuine commitment to Willy’s health and recovery. It wasn’t about the financial situation. We thank the whole staff and would highly recommend.

It's too bad I can't give over five stars! I am dog sitting for my cousin and he had some bloody diarrhea yesterday. They were super helpful and walked me through everything via text. He's, thankfully okay this morning but it was a great relief to have their advice and support! I recently lost my dog about a month ago and I still had their contact info on my fridge in case she ever needed it which thankfully she didn't!

If you are black/brown with a bully breed dog this is not the place to take your dog.. So 2 times I’ve had to come here once with my senior dog for back problem ($150) per visit automatically than it seems like regardless the diagnosis they are going to tell you they need to do “LAB Work” that cost $1200. They than charged me another $100 for some medication that my regular vet administered a couple days later for less than $20. Fast forward my other dog is having problems during labor I took her in not even 5 mins go by they tell me the dr want to speak to me and that it’s going to be you guessed it $1200 to see what’s wrong with her when I didn’t have the $1200 all the sudden the only other option was to put my dog down which was already a saddening enough experience and it didn’t help that the veterinarian was trying to make it seem like it was my fault for letting her get pregnant and for not having the money to save her. Long story short they didn’t attempt to save my dog because I didn’t have 1200 for some lab test and I’m pretty sure the breed played a part in such a quick decision by the veterinarian who was talking to me as if I was a child and calling me irresponsible like accidents don’t happen which is why they are an Emergency room . That veterinarians demeanor was way outta line

Probably the worst care and most dismissed I have ever been at a vet. I brought my 2 year old dachshund in because she was lethargic/not acting herself and had a wobbly limp. I waited until the vet came out and asked to see her walk. She was scared so she tried to run. The vet said, “she’s fine.” I explained how she was lethargic and I was nervous she had gotten into something in the backyard as we have just moved here 2 weeks ago. The vet said “she probably got into marijuana.” Implying that I have marijuana in my yard. Please keep in mind I had my 3 month old baby with me when I checked in for this visit. He then said I should go home or they’d call me in the middle of the night when they could see my dog but that she seems fine. I even showed him a video from an hour prior of her obvious symptoms. I’d give zero stars but the girls at the front desk were awesome and super friendly.

Dr.Peter Ellis is an amazing veterinarian doctor. My cat was having breathing problems and I had to bring him. Dr.Ellis was very empathetic and compassionate. He explains everything very well so you can have a full understanding of what's going with your furbaby.
Even though in the end I had to let my baby cross the rainbow bridge I know that he did everything he could and went above and beyond and I appreciate that more than he will ever know. If you have a sick furbaby and you have him as your doctor rest assured they are in the best hands and he will do everything he can to keep your furbaby comfortable and not cross the rainbow bridge. Of course if it's a quality of life issue it's not easy, but that talk also has to be had sometimes and we all at some point and he is very empathetic to that.

This place is a complete joke.. please avoid. You will wait hours for very poor service they are just in it for the money. They told me my animal most likely had heart issues and would need life long medicine. Then I take her somewhere else and it turns out she has a very common mouth infection treated with simple antibiotics not to mention had no heart problems whatsoever..

I work at a GP clinic in the area and have been fortunate enough to never have had to utilize SPEC services other than referring our clients or follow-ups. This past week was an unfortunate time in which my dear friend was babysitting a dog that started having very long, traumatic seizures after our normal business hours. We rushed her to SPEC and they got her back right away with meds to help calm her. They were patient and kind as we waited to get ahold of the owners who were in another country. We ended up hospitalizing Gracie just to get a call (direct from her doctor) with devastating news that they were needing to treat for brain swelling. We decided then that the best option would be euthanasia. They handled Gracie with so much care and gave their best efforts to save her and we will forever be grateful for their kindness. Special thanks to Rhianna, Jenny, Rosa, Dr LeBert, and everyone else who I can’t remember right now! You guys are all so wonderful.

My kitten was in critical condition and they got me to sign a paper saying I would be charged UP TO 1200$. My kitten was only in their care for 1 hr and I was told by the doctor that I would be getting a refund because not much was done. I checked my charge and I was charged the full amount. I asked for an itemized bill which they sent me and had all items at 3 times normal cost and then added a 25$ fee for producing the list. ALL this after my kitten had to be put down on my birthday because we are struggling for money and the treatment for what was wrong with her was extremely expensive. I am incredibly disappointed in their exploitation of suffering families.

We brought in my daughter’s dog because he had stopped eating and was slowing down. His deterioration was rapidly happening. My daughter was devastated and just not a happy person. But the staff was just awesome! They understood how much pain she was in and just kept helping her with such a professional attitude no matter how difficult it was to be kind. I am so grateful that even though we had to put the beautiful dog down, because he was suffering, they were so kind to us.

They took my baby right out of my arms upon arrival. More than responsive.
Excellent care for my child. THE BEST. Excellent discharge explanation. God bless you all. She is Gods gift to me to take care of and He used the best people to help her.
UPDATE***
Molly went home to be with Jesus, my mom, Molly's husband Bandit and their baby Qua! Her Heavenly Father called her home on Father's day 2024.
(Molly s husband Bandit went home New Year's Eve Eve this year)
I HAVE NEVER KNOWN IN MY LIFE SUCH A PRECIOUS PRECIOUS WONDERFUL GROUP OF EMERGENCY ANIMAL MEDICAL PEOPLE.
I can't say enough. They took my babies exactly when Jesus was calling them to go home, and helped us in the process with love, concern, respect and dignity.
Iam so grateful for their help throughout the 16 years of having my kids. Saving Molly's life a few times!!! God has blessed me with my kids as gifts and I returned them to Him until I see them again. He has also blessed this planet with this emergency clinic. God bless you all! I love you and you will be in my heart forever!
