Recently tried to adopt a dog for our family & was very disappointed with how myself and my family were treated. We have a 2yr old daughter and I’m 34 weeks pregnant and the lady kept making such rude remarks & saying that I can’t handle a dog bc I’m pregnant. Don’t recommend this place at all, all the puppies were covered in pee & poop as well, so sad.

Today I brought a feral kitten in for an “assessment” because I wanted to try to save it .while I was in the waiting room they killed the kitten without even telling me what I could’ve done or couldn’t have done to save it or give me the option to take it to a Vet and get medicine and give it a chance to live. Meanwhile they said the Vet was in surgery. So who decided? Who ever decides this is OK its NOT!!!!!!!!!! Dont trust them :(

Give people more time during meet & greets! 1st I only had 10 minutes the most after waiting 30 to meet a pup… and I did two trips so I can get to know her more and was not takin serious lady brought the dog into a office and dropped the poor thing on the floor. Managers need to teach there staff that are doing meet and greets some patients if they want forever homes for the animals.

I really appreciate S.C.A.C for the research to connect me and my fur baby, Misty-Ivy. She's so loving towards everyone. She was already potty trained, walked well, and listened without much instructions. It's been almost a year now. She goes everywhere with me. Thanks to her doggie carriage. People always thank me for rescuing her, but the truth is Misty-Ivy rescued me! Im a happy mommy over here.

My wife and I adopted our 2 babies Sadie and Bella from this AMAZING shelter! The animals are always cared for and the staff are great, Riley was one of the staff that was especially amazing when we were adopting. She truly cares about the animals
