I brought my recently acquired 1985 Porsche 911 to Preferred Auto Body and Custom for a complete restoration. Dennis and his team are meticulous and go above and beyond, attending to every detail including replacing worn parts as needed, and arranging for upholstery repairs. They maintain excellent communication throughout the process and deliver a masterpiece, better than the original! I would trust Preferred Auto Body and Custom with any project whether routine or exceptional.

Took extremely long and was very expensive. I paid thousands... I thought that if I gave them a bunch of time, they would really do a good job but the final finish was terrible. I bought the best bumper i could buy and they didn't even fit it. They started and finished the car in a weeks time. The car was there for months! They told me that because it was fiberglass they wouldn't be able to do much and if I brought it back they would just touch it up. The lines are way off and there are a tons of blemishes. This is ridiculous for what i paid...
i wanted to pay for nice work because this is a classic car but it seemed to be just a normal job for them. Nice guys but terrible work. I mean really terrible work. The Porsche in the photos is the owners and it would never get the job I got. They told me they were going to do so much and in the end, did the most minimum amount of work possible.

we recently had to have our truck bumper painted from being scratched. We chose Preferred Auto Body and Custom because they are local and a small shop. When I took the truck for an estimate I was welcomed by the owners and the receptionist. Everyone was professional, welcoming and knowledgable. They took our truck in that same week and we had it back very quickly. The work they did was wonderful. The bumper looked as it did brand new. shortly after I noticed more imperfections on the other side of the bumper and they took care of the other side well after the original work. They are professional, take great care of your vehicle and their customer service is top notch. Will certainly return if ever need any other work done. Best in town and the area.

Took a hit by a metal rod on the highway that shattered my windshield and damaged the roof. Their work was impeccable! Totally took care of the insurance, updated me on the progress of the repairs, coordinated all the services fluently, and overall made like me feel like family. I can't recommend them enough & wouldn't hesitate to bring my car back to them anytime.

I highly recommend you get your auto body needs done at Preferred Auto Body and Custom in Fairfield. Everyone there (Julia, Dennis, etc.) was very helpful and they did a great job fixing the back of my car. Got rear ended by a tailgating, uninsured motorist. They did a great job repairing damage under the bumper, the bumper, the rear hatch door and a quarter panel. I felt their prices were pretty average. Did it take awhile? Yes. Partly because I went on vacation but mostly because they had to find the parts in salvage as Chevy doesn't make my car anymore (Chevy HHR). I'm very happy with the work they did and will return there for any future auto body needs.

Loved my experience with Preferred Auto! They fixed the side of my CR-V after a hit a run and did a fantastic job! Dennis was very friendly and super helpful with all of my questions and concerns. They kept me up to date with everything and the status of my car and also finished quickly (2 weeks)! I highly highly recommend them for all of your auto body needs!

I had a fender bender last month and this was the only shop that would take my car! I will start with my criticisms first. Hopefully they will learn from them. Send more email communication or calls to let the customer know what is going on. Don't assume that the customer understands what they need to do to get things taken care of the way they want! Clarify by spending a little extra time making sure you let the customer know how to get exactly what they want! Not everyone understands that everything is backed up now! I was originally told that it would take 7-10 days for my car to get repaired! It took a month! They repaired my car excellent! Looks like new!

I contacted this place for a quote the owner told me they dont offer auto body service. Dennis if that's was the case the. Why not say you were unclear and needed more info , you sent a response that said you were UNABLE AND DIDNT OFFER THE SERVICE. Instead of responded to my review and basically looking like a liar. How did I know you needed more info you didn't request it, you blew me off . You didn't ask because you didn't want to . It was easier to just blow me off. Don't come up with the solution after the fact Dennis. I requested a quote, if the information wasnt enough all you had to do was say that, but you didn't you sent me a message saying you were unable and didn't offer the service. PS Stop contacting me Dennis you are a liar. The message is there in black and white. Directly from you Dennis saying exactly what I said you said. That makes you a dishonest liar. I'm glad I found out now and not after the fact.

They are always very responsive, even if there is a delay of any kind, they still let you know the progress they've made on your car. Great price, friendly staff, calm atmosphere as well. Highly recommend!

Definitely one of the best in the county when it comes to custom detail work. I purchased this car online In Arizona needless to say the car looked flawless online, it wasn't until it was delivered that I found a few cosmetic issues. Horacio and Rene did a complete once over on the vehicle and we discussed options. They completed some minor body work, repaired some gaping issues added another set of teeth to the grill and flawlessly repainted and cleared the entire car a beautiful shade of silver making her truly show ready
