More Photo 1 in review by James Riordan Photo 2 in review by James Riordan 1 Jason Frankl Local Guide·71 reviews·88 photos just now NEW The Vets were great, the office staff were mostly great, one person was not, she ruined my experience here. I think this person was perhaps an office manager or something, she didn't introduce herself to me so I can only assume.... Anyways, here's what happened today.... I brought my dog in to have an ultrasound. I had previously discussed this over the phone with the vet. I was under the impression that a abdomen and chest ultrasound would cost around $500 to $600. When I dropped my dog at the vet this morning for this ultrasound I assumed that that was still accurate. When I picked her up they had done an abdomen and neck ultrasound instead which I totally understand.... in the moment you gotta do what you got to do, that's not a problem, I used to work in the hospital so I get that things change as you start looking for and discovering things etc What I don't understand is that when I asked the office staff to explain the price difference to me they sent out this person who was talking down to me, being condescending and rude with her words and her tone. She was referring to my wife as "confused" and also said "do you need to call her, did she not understand what the vet said," making me feel like somehow I'm the bad guy and that maybe my wife is dumb, or at least they think she is. Funny thing, after I checked with my wife, she said she never talked to the vet and never discussed pricing when the staff called to say Maddy was ready to be picked up. Also... this person was trying to put some paper in my hand showing "an estimate" that they had just created, an estimate that we never saw previously or signed, which means that paper had no actual meaning to it at all, so I wouldn't take it from her... She was being a little rude the whole time and when I said to her, and I quote , "I don't know why you're talking to me that way it's really weird" she got defensive and then walked away without explaining anything any further about the pricing discrepancy. While I was waiting at the front desk to pay the $750, I heard this person in the background complaining to all the other staff in the office about our interaction which made me feel really uncomfortable. So, I just paid and left. I don't really know if I should ever return here because I'm worried that this person will find a way to

Barney & Russum Animal Clinic
2255 Boynton Ave, FairfieldIf you live in Solano County this is the vet to go to. With decades of experience, they’ve never led me wrong. The vets are always on time, caring and knowledgeable. Parkway Animal Center
1239 Western St, FairfieldMy experience with this Animal center has always been top-notch. At the beginning of the year, my dog was diagnosed with diabetes. He was put under Dr. Knowles care for his treatment due to her knowledge with this disease, she and Jessica (Tech Lead) supported me through this difficult time and I am happy to say that his Condition is under control! The office supplied me with printed info & verbal instructions that made me a partner in my dog's care. This is the place to bring your pets for yearly checks, special needs pets, & concerns both big & small (I could go on & on). The front office staff are prompt, caring, friendly & knowledgeable. They will do whatever is in their power to meet your scheduling needs. They will always return your call and when they do, you will feel like you've known them for years! The techs and doctors are all wonderful, compassionate and supportive-not to mention they know what they are doing!! I've been bringing my dogs there (even when they were called Sunset Animal Hospital) for many years and am so grateful I found them.

She can be very strict, but I assure you, you will be the best dog trainer to your fur babies after several sessions with Lisa. The program she has was enjoyable, and I learned a lot from it. Murphy's Canine B & B
2054 Falcon Ct, FairfieldNancy and Pam were so caring of our family dog and so kind to our family. Highly recommend if you need to have your beloved dog looked after. Our family dog stayed with them for one and half months while a family member was in the hospital. They cooked her chicken and rice mixed into kibble, sent the family photos of our dog as status updates, and overall went above and beyond. Our family dog was never caged and was allowed to roam the house and backyard freely. If your dog is social, then it's an extra bonus since all the dogs being looked after hang out with each other.

Three Restaurant
721 Texas St, FairfieldThis restaurant offers a diverse menu with consistently high-quality food, making every visit enjoyable. The staff is kind which contributes to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The jazz music in the background creates a pleasant and relaxing dining experience.
One change I’m sad to see is the reduction in hours. I hope they consider reopening for lunch during the weekdays in the future—it would be a great option for mid-day dining.
While the outdoor seating is lovely, especially with the ambiance, a simple addition of a net could help deter the flies and make the experience even more enjoyable.
I recommend this unique restaurant!
Vegetarian options: Salad, fries, mac and cheese.

G V Cellars
1635 Mason Rd, FairfieldGV Cellars has for many years been a family favorite winary in the Livermore Valley. On my recent visit I was saddened to learn that they could no longer provide tastings because the county demanded unconditional ADA compliance. Those who follow my reviews know I am a handicapped traveler seriously committed to appropriate access for visitors with disabilities. Prior to Covid the County had accepted GV Cellars had accepted their providing HC tasting in the ground floor barrel room or out side. For a historic agricultural facility, this is a perfectly reasonable approach. The County is now demanded demanding that they install a Grossl expensive elevator to the former second floor tasting room.As a retired federal ADA compliance officer and town Historical Preservation Commissioner I know that reasonable accommodations are well within the ADA. Let GV Cellars return to its excellent visitor experience.Fortunately visitors may still purchase their excellent wines on site and via their wine club.

Rockville kitchen + bar
4171 Suisun Valley Rd A, FairfieldI stumbled upon this place one day and decided to order to go. I ordered an omelette to go. The portion size was good and the portion size was large. I came back a few weeks later and we ate at the restaurant. This time eggs benedict. I will say the potatoes were a little overdone, but still good, although I am not one to ever turn down potatoes. This is such a cute little local spot. The second time I came it was a saturday. There was a steady amount of people coming, but wasn't too busy that we had to wait a long time for a table. The team that works here are friendly, and the service was quick.
