Disappointed with Misinformation:I initially had a promising experience with this OneMain Financial location thanks to Celicia's professionalism and helpfulness during the early stages of processing my loan request. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned sour, leading to this two-star review due to a significant issue that could have been avoided with accurate information.The problem arose when I was informed that my application and credit pull could no longer be considered valid because "too much time had passed," necessitating a second credit check. As a result, my APR doubled, and I found myself in a baffling situation.Upon asking for clarification and trying to understand why this was happening, I was met with resistance and dismissal. This lack of transparency and unwillingness to address my concerns was extremely frustrating.In desperation, I reached out to the customer service line at corporate to resolve this issue. To my relief, they confirmed that my previous credit pull was indeed valid for 25 days, a fact I was well within. They assisted me in disputing the unnecessary credit pull that was conducted today, which had no basis in reality.This incident underscores the importance of ensuring that accurate information is consistently communicated to consumers. It's disappointing that such a fundamental aspect of customer service was neglected in this instance, leading to an unnecessary and frustrating ordeal.In conclusion, I hope this review serves as a constructive point of reflection for this OneMain Financial location, emphasizing the importance of providing accurate and consistent information to their valued customers. While Celicia's initial assistance was commendable, the overall experience was marred by this unfortunate incident due to what felt like her trying to hit a quota or something. For the next consumer, please go in versed, educated on what you are looking for, and advocate for yourself.

I was very happy with using One Main Financial for a recent loan. Everyone was very friendly and made the process very simple. Electronic signatures made the signing process easier. I would definitely recommend using One Main if you are shopping for a loan.

With personal loans at a relatively low rate, one might think that as the customer of One Main Financial, you might just get to share in the fun... LOL, silly me, I should have known that when it comes down to $$$ the only ones invited to play are those with check signing privileges. Certainly not those of us who struggle each month to make sure their creditors get their due long before the kids, the wife or you get to eat!So, after having not missed a single payment to ANYONE in over 14 years, according to my credit reports, have a current borrowing power of almost $50,000.00 and only 8% of that currently in use, a mere $10,000.00 loan of which $7,000.00 would be used to pay a current loan, one might actually think, Ah, no prob... Well, I was half right. Yeah, they'll give me the funds, lol at 27% APR. After laughing louder than I had in many months and telling Jessica exactly how insulted and disgusted I was for allowing such a fly by night toilet bowel cleaning company to even be given the chance to earn my business back, I thanked her for absolutely nothing and hung up the phone!So, do yourselves a big ole favor and call your wife's rich father, go to Vegas for the weekend or invest in an oz. of cocaine and make the money needed. Even if you were to get caught, you'd likely suffer much less that way, than allowing One Main Financial give it to you from behind!*** Read my other reviews... This is how disgusted I am with these guys! DO NOT GIVE THESE CROOKS A PENNY OF YOUR HARD EARN DOLLARS!!!

This company need to get a lawsuit against them for false advertising as a no credit check loan company I went there awhile back at the Fairfield ca location and the lady told me that there will be a credit check for the loan I was applying for the lady I spoke to was nice so that's why I give them 3 stars but if it wasn't for that nice lady it would've been 1 star

My husband applied for a loan because Credit Karma said he would qualify. The process was a week and a half long and they would not speak to me because I wasn’t on the loan! I do all of his accounting and financial. I asked him to file a complaint for the poor quality provided by the application reviewer to her manager. The manager was unprofessional as the application reviewer! No wonder why they work together! The supervisor did not care about our complaints and automatically denied our application for a loan, but the account reviewer said she had to follow up some more! We then called the 1800 number to report them and the representative put the supervisor on the phone. The tone in her voice sounded as she thought it was hilarious and asked us how she could help and my husband told her that he had nothing to say to her and he wanted to speak to her supervisor. She then said he doesn’t know about your application and that she would have him call my husband. We called at 9am and we decided to call back at 3pm since it was obvious that her supervisor was not going to call. I called the 1800 number and let the representative know that I wanted to file a complaint. We told the representative everything and now we’re waiting on a response. We’ll see how everything goes. We never received a call from the rude ladies supervisor!
