There is no bank where I live. And every single time I try to call my call gets dropped minimum of 5 times. Never fails they have some the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with.

They will no longer let you make more than one payment per month, or pay balances off until it collects a certain amount of interest. Do not get into debt with this credit union unless you don't mind wasting money. Get financing elsewhere.

Excellent bank....personal atmosphere. They know you when you come in or call. I feel like I can trust them in all my transactions.

If I could give negative stars I would. I have had 2 horrific situations involving Oefcu. First with an accident that wasn't our fault this was when corona had started we had provided insurance (the insurance we had was too expensive) anyways they didn't accept it I told them I couldn't afford a lower deductible at this time so they gave me something called CPI coverage (fyi this coverage was not explained to me at all) I said great! I'm the mean time I looked around for alternate insurance I could afford during this time coincidentally we had an accident. I'll say never get CPI coverage from a lender I believe it's not even legal anymore but anyways brand new vehicle totaled and haven't seen a dime from them and we still owe on the vehicle they wouldn't even provide rental other party had crappy insurance. Now I have another vehicle I've been financing since Jan 2019 always paid on time never missed until of late due to business not doing well all that I made a 500$ payment in November around thanksgiving talked with someone and agreed to pay remaining by Dec something well my dad died Dec 2nd didn't make payment and less then 2 weeks later they come to reposes my car. But here's the worst I got on the phone with GWEN horrible woman and said I'm coming to get the vehicle in a few days when I have the rest of money don't sell it she kept going on about selling the vehicle I should have contacted them all this crap I told her my father died she didn't even apologize I begged her to not sell the car I needed my car for business and to take my kids to school and she hesitantly said ok. Next thing I know less then 24 hours later I get an alert on my credit report that an account with OEF has been closed !!!!! I called and they confirmed this yes they sold the vehicle!! This just happened but I have attempted to speak with a manager corporate director never can get anyone else m filing a complaint with the attorney general consumer affairs. They are going down I've never felt hate in my heart until then .

Of course, as a Credit Union there are a number of benefits. However, these are benefits that are offered by most other Credit Unions as well. This means, there is nothing unique about OEFCU, though by being a Credit Union and a Labor Union one at that, means it is INHERENTLY better than a traditional Banking Institution. That being said, it is the year 2021. I wish these folks would step into the 21st century. Their services lag far behind more modernized institutions now. On an aside, I would like to note how frustrating the ACH is. IMO this is a stupid excuse for banking institutions to make more money off of our deposits. I do NOT believe for one second that it takes days to clear through the ACH. Additionally, if my payroll is transmitted 2 to 3 days early, there is NO way I should have to wait until 10 a.m. on Actual Payday. I mean...you have a god damn computer right? You can't simply set that up to make funds available at midnight? Yes, the answer is yes, you can. You just choose not to. And though many other may not know why, I do. It is so you can have the money on your books as an "asset" and loan out against the asset. The longer you have my full amount the more money you can make off of it. It incentivizes banks trying to find ways to deny access to MY GOD DAM NONEY! Yes, it sounds trite, but it is the friggin principle. That is MY money, not yours.

Horrible service and great rates!!!! I can't get these people to call me back the same day. If you have a loan question they'll answer you tomorrow if you have 2 questions it takes 3-5 business days. WTF!!!!

I applaud the genlemen on blue shirt hosting this event is the best speaker. He explains what is happening each and every time. You are the best. I salute you for your fine service representing this district. We need more of you at other event. On the other hand OE federal credit union member who is photograph here on middle (dress with short and green tshirt and jacket, with short hair) was at the booth give us a chill shoulder and bad taste. on 5/20 Fairfield picnic supposely a fun picnic day for local union member and their family to participate meet and greet old friends. Last few years, I enjoy attend fun day with food and vendor gift items and raffle gift away. This will be my first and last event that i will attend at Fairfield. I and few friends got to picnic early. It is all thanks to OEfederal credit union big mouth. She talked behind our back, she is worry she will runs out of credit union freebies (beer cup (at the end i saw them packed it away, cheapskate, where is the shortage??? and she said frisbee is only for kids - kids must be present). I love play frisbee. I took one anyway, I told her is for my kid out playing. My friend (Union member) picked up 2 frisbee and 3 cups for her kids (so they dont fight). Credit union lady does not like it give us the look and told us shortage... we ignore and walked away and we stood behind waiting to get tickets and i over heard her talked and trashed us behind our back.) I cant believe this credit union hire person with poor attitude to representing this member owes credit union. Why is she acts and treat union member and their family / friend like she owes it. Why is she policing it? Getting 1 cup and 1 frisbee.. that really upsat me. I wonder how many members were told cup shortage and frisbee is only for kid. My guess is that at the end of the day... since she got left freebies she is having a beer party at her home. At last , I went into the branch and cash out and closed my account. Good bye!
