I have had nothing but negative experiences at North Bay Women’s Services. If you are able to get in elsewhere I would suggest you try anywhere else! I have had 3 scheduled appts and each one was cancelled and rescheduled. Each cancellation was day of, and the new appt was scheduled without consultation with me on if I was available to make the new appt. I went to the clinic a year ago for an ultrasound and found out I was having a miscarriage. The provider I saw had terrible bedside manner and offered me NO information or support on how to process a miscarriage or proceed. This was especially disappointing as at the beginning of the appt I had brought up feeling suicidal and my history of mental health struggles. To be offered zero suggestions on support groups or asked if I was okay was disappointing. The provider was so harsh even my partner was offended. Yesterday I was supposed to have a consult for abdominal pain and anomalies on scans, I called the day before and confirmed I still had the appt and mentioned I was having abnormal bleeding and was very glad to have the appt. The next day at 10am they call and I get a text about a new appt on Jan 5. No text about a cancelled appt. I get that all health care facilities are overbooked and overworked but when you are in pain and bleeding waiting weeks and weeks for appts only to have them continually cancel and to have poor service when you do get to an appt is frustrating.

Terrible experience just trying to schedule. Horrible service and poor processes making it incredible difficult just to make an apt.

I called the clinic on July 7 2023 at 12:44pm and 1:14pm. A woman answered my call. She postponed my appointment on July 12 to August 30. The waiting time was too long, she was not friendly and not responsible for the patient.

Not a good experience at all. Not only did I have to drive from out of town, but it took forever to get a room for a scheduled appointment. When there Iwas told to disrobe and wait for doctor. I was laying there naked for almost an hour before the doctor came. Very uncomfortable! I have endometriosis and the doctor seemed like I was making up my pain. I have knowledge about my condition. I felt like she was just waiting for me to finish talking to tell me some standard thing to do. I have since been going to a specialist in Napa. A male doctor who was attentive and on time! Not recommended to come here. Needs to work on customer service or do zoom appointments only.

I had appointment at 9:30 this morning for a routine Pap smear. They called me at 9:20 AM. The MA stated that she wasn't gonna have me undress yet and just to wait in the room because the doctor just went in with a consultation. So she'll let me know when to undress. I never heard back from the MA... And the doctor finally came in one hour and five minutes later this is totally unacceptable. If you have a consultation and you have a Pap smear you would think that the Pap smear would be done first considering it only took 10 minutes. Instead she had me wait an hour and five minutes before doing my 10 minute Pap smear. So Frustrated..... My time is important to!!!

Every time I have called, the wait has been longer than 30 minutes. They have hung up on me while waiting to talk to an administration multiple times! I hope someone reads this and care to make some changes. If their call center is any reflection of the level of care they administer , we should be VERY concerned. This problem has NOT been episodic, it’s continuously been the case.

Service is horrible. I had to wait for an hour today to be seen by my doctor. I am 39 weeks and it was really uncomfortable to wait for that long. The doctor said that she saw patients that were behind me in the schedule because her screen didn’t show that I was checked in. Not sure whose fault was this.Not the first time that I have similar experience at this clinic. I leave frustrated and almost crying almost every visit.

Worst women's clinic ever!! I am 39 weeks pregnant today and went to see my doctor. I was checked in at 4pm which was my scheduled appointment time. Had to wait until 5 pm to be seen by the doctor. When the doctor came, she kept apologizing that she was not aware that I have been waiting. She saw other patients scheduled behind me before she saw me. Needless to say how uncomfortable it was to wait for over an hour to be seen when you're 39 weeks pregnant. I walked out crying because of the disrespect I felt and the MD admitting that she "forgot about me" and had no idea I was waiting!! This is not the first incidence. I have had terrible experience with Tori the NP who wrote wrong information on my chart and mistreated me and put me and my husband in an unnecessary stress in the beginning of my pregnancy. The clinic manager never apologized or tried to fix any of the situations that I went through. I thank God for a healthy pregnancy that I didn't need a lot of help from the clinic. But honestly, going to the appointments was the most frustrating part of my pregnancy journey.

Why don't they ever answer the phone?? I've been on hold for over 20mins Honestly why even get paid if your going to be lazy and not answer the phone it isn't even lunch time yet

Had a phone appt this morning and I was ordered some labs done at quest diagnostics but when I got to quest they said there was nothing. So I called and was told they were sent but quest still hadn't received them. I had to call again to have them faxed and emailed but the nurse stayed on the phone with me the whole time, about 45 minutes until Quest finally received them. Thank you Myra I appreciate all of your help today. To be clear there was nothing done wrong on Northbays side of things, for some reason the orders didn't come through on Quests side.

This place is horrible. Took me forever to be seen. They schedule you so far out. I didnt even get in until my 4th month. They called and texted me so many times, to confirm my appointment. After I confirmed already. They didnt allow my husband in. And didnt tell me apond arrival. I called to get a prescription filled. And no call back. Horrible experience! I decided to go elsewhere.

Horrible service! Leaves you in pain! I have been trying for 4 days to get antibiotics after having labs done with my Nurse at this office. the fount desk is rude and no compassion at all. If you want to be treated like a number and not a human feel freee to go here. Such BS. I was told it’s going to take 3 business days to hear back from a OB mind you it’s Friday and the weekends don’t count. Worst patient care I have ever received.If I could give 0 stars I would.

After reading some of the posts from other people I had to respond. I can say there have been a couple of instances of incompetency. But none that caused me to overlook the entirety of the care I was being given. I see Dr. Villalon. She is patient, listens well and cares about your overall health. I have seen a couple others mentioned here, as I cannot speak on their care, I can speak on hers. Her assistant always remembers me and is very compassionate. I recommend her.
