Still waiting for someone to cut some wood. It’s been just over 2 hours now. I asked for assistance from an associate in the aisle, he said he will call for someone. 30 go by. I called the store and asked for assistance with someone on the phone, and they call over the intercom. 30 minutes go by no one shows. I went to the front, and asked for assistance and they called someone over the intercom, but no one showed. I called again and still no one showed. And then I went to the front, spoke with customer service and they called the manager who said he will get someone and bring them to the cutting machine, and still no one here. 2 hours. Apparently the lumber guy went on lunch two hours ago and never came back.

Home Depot in Fairfield, California, you need to retrain your employees. My wife was in there this morning to buy flowers to take to our sons grave at the National Cemetery. She was checking out and "Julie" the cashier was offended because my wife sanitized her drivers license after Julie handed it back to her. She said "why are you doing that? I have touched everything you purchased". My wife explained to her that she sanitized it because she was putting it back in her wallet and she is just trying to be safe. The cashier was very rude and condescending. Then the customer behind my wife said "if you are so worried about germs why don't you stay home"? Then he and the cashier "Julie" began talking about my wife, belittling her. We personally know people who have died because of COVID-19, my aunt just died from it last week. What the hell people. Julie, you should not be working in a customer service position. I TRIED TO CONTACT CORPORATE BUT APPARENTLY HOME DEPOT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. THE ONLY OPTION THEY GIVE YOU NOW IS A PHONE NUMBER AND I WISH TO HAVE MY COMPLAINT "IN WRITING" SO THAT I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WAS SAID.

Can you ask all your employees to follow the same rules that are posted all along the shop? If you're telling folks to wear a mask, your employees should do the same. As I was getting my stuff, I noticed several team members who were wearing their mask at their chin or not at all and talking with other employees.

My review is based off my experience with their Curbside Pickup. There is clearly no one owning this process if there even is a process. I have tried using it on multiple occasions thinking maybe they were just busy those other times but it has been the same experience each time. You check in via e-mail or text but no one ever comes out. Each time I have waited over 30 mins and today I waited for 45 minutes and there were people waiting who had been there before me. Why offer this service if it's going to be this shitty? I wish other stores had their s*** together like Target's curbside pickup.

I am a big fan of home depot's policy of making sure that their employees wear mask and gloves in the store. We recently ordered new solid surface countertops for our father who is 94 years old. My 1st concern is that the company contracted (VSS) by Home Depot to install these countertops and dismantle the old countertops is not as conscientious about ensuring that their contractors wear masks, booties and gloves. This is in spite of the fact that we complained about it and were assured that future contractors would be properly attired with gloves, booties and masks. The 1st person who came in to measure my father's counters did not have a mask at all. When I insisted that he wear a mask he said he had a bandana. He donned his bandana and entered my father's home and proceeded to do the work of measurements. I didn't realize at first, he was wearing his bandana below his nose. I asked him if his company supplied their employees with masks. He said yes they supply us with masks but I can't wear them because I have asthma. I too have asthma, but I was wearing a mask and always do. Subsequent to that my sister spoke with VSS company representative Felix, Who advised her that that was unacceptable and that going forward all contractors would wear gloves, booties and masks. 1st let me say as well that everything with this project that could go wrong has gone wrong. They pushed back our dismantle and installation dates for a whole host of reasons one of which was related to the installer being out sick from work. And of course in this era of covid 19 we have been very patient about cancelation of dates installation periods, etc., but what we are not willing to compromise on is the quality of workmanship done in our fathers home. It looks like crap it is horribly put together and working with a young woman from corporate home depot has not corrected the problems. As you can see from the photo The back splash is a complete hack job. As DYI or I could have done better with my eyes closed. And of course they are adding to the fact that when the man without the mask measured our countertop I specifically said to him I need this back splash to run all the way to the end just like it was prior to it being dismantled. And yes that countertop back splash was still in place at the time he measured. So there was no discrepancy in what I was asking for. However, I must admit when he asked me to sign the document stating that he had done the measurements I did so without reviewing or asking him to show me specifically how it was going to look. I simply asked him for to go all the way across and if he had measured for that and he told me he did. So yes it's my bad that I couldn't read his measurement diagrams to show that they were going to cut the back splash off 2/3 into the run leaving that part unfinished. That was never explained before the work was done. We had sink issues which corporate tried to appease us by giving us a sink to put in temporarily ( So my dad would have a sink in his kitchen to use over the weekend) when the cut on the countertop made it impossible to insert the sink that we had purchased for this job to be installed without notching out the cabinet face. VSS, installer told us yesterday that he knew this was going to problem before when he started installation of the countertop and saw the sink we had chosen. Unfortunately, just like everything else in this situation that was not pointed out to us until after the fact. Had we known this we could have addressed all these things last week. I could give a laundry list of unacceptable activities that occurred during the course of this project. Suffice it to say I'm not going to do that. I don't think there's enough Room in the review process for me to do that. In a nutshell the job is shoddy work and I would never ever hire home depot or anyone they contract with to do any work in my kitchen. This is the 2nd time I have personally had experience with home depot doing kitchen

This isn't the phone number to Home Depot. I've been calling this number and no response. Then this same number returned my call and this number isn't the one for Home Depot. But this is the same number on their website.

I really wish I could of gave zero stars ! Came in this afternoon as we seen a tool box they had on line and it said they had two of them in stock ! Walked over to the tool box displays and there was a employee there doing signs ! I politely asked if they had this tool box we seen on line - it was around 1,100 dollars and we came from American canyon to purchase ! In a unprofessional tone the sign lady said this isn't my department I'm doing signs - if you go over there pointing her finger and the guy that might be able to help has on a orange shirt ! Ok every employee at Home Depot has on a orange shirt ! Needless to say we walked out - this is one of the big reasons we don't shop at Home Depot because every time we come in ( haven't been in over 10 years ) we get horrible guest service , incompetent employees that don't know anything about anything and never can get anyone to help you ever - it's always , not my department! Once again another Home Depot fails and I do not recommend any Home Depot ever !! This is probably the number 1 reason we go to Lowe's as we get great guest service there and competent employees that know all departments and are trained properly as well !

{Update: 06/28/2020 We went to see Alicia M. Abigana Store ManagerThe Home Depot 0637, She apologize for the assistant managers behavior. We told her how we were treated and she was very polite and respectful and understanding, her assistant manager basically did not know what he was talking about. We think he's in training because we have not seen him. But every thing worked out great!!! She took care of us. She got use the right epoxy paint for our driveway. So I wanted to say if anyone has a bad experience with the store employee go see her. I am giving this store 100 stars.....update}. We are so happy with the outcome that we definitely will come back. This store has everything!!! Update on 06/29/2020.My wife, and I, had a very bad experience today at 6:05 pm on 06/22/2020. The Store is located at 2121 Cadenasso Fairfield California 94533. Store # is 0687We have been living in the Fairfield /Suisun City area since 2006. We buy our plants here, We talk to the employees before we decide to do a project. From buying we ask a lot of questions and the employees are really nice and they are knowledgeable and always give good advice. They have always been friendly to us, But today was different, We bought BEHR Base930N Priming 1-Part Epoxy Garage F64 Storm. We were told by the paint department to get this paint. We bought like 10 cans and they set us up with rollers and a special too to stir the paint. We were told to use Dawn liquid dish soap to remove the dirt and grim. So I bought a 4500psi honda pressure washer and it took out the stain from our walcome mat. We did what Home Depot had advised us. So after brushing and scrubbing our drive way. it looked really nice. So we waited a few days for everything to dry and we started painting my wife and I. We did one coat early in the morning because we knew it was going to get hot due to summer. We waited for the next day and we painted in the morning. After 3 days we parked our van in the driveway and our truck too. We went to work early in the morning and when we came home in the afternoon the paint went to our tires and the paint was missing from the grown we had painted. So I went ahead and repainted and I was thinking maybe we needed a sealer to go on top of this paint. So I was looking on the can and it said you don't need to seal it but just clean it with soap and water if it gets dirty. Okay so I repainted the part were the paint or epoxy paint what ever you want to call it and I waited for a week an d then this last Sunday the 21, of June we had to park in the drive way. This morning when i was moving my truck the paint just peeled off, My wife and I said let go to Home Depot and lets go talk to someone. We walk into the store and was greeted at customer service. We showed the nice Mexican guy, We didn't get his name but we had explained what happen as i am doing word for word. We showed him the pictures on our cell phone and he said he would have to call his manager for store credit so we could try something different. So Carlos the guy wearing Blue said he couldn't help us because we did not use Primer before Priming the driveway!!! What I know is that we told the Painter person who is a little short Mexican lady their is primer in the paint and she said yes when we bought the paint back on 05/27/2020 and again on 06/06/2020 and we spent $775.00 And I told the Manager that we did everything we were told to do. But then he came up with more reasons not to help us. He was saying that I have no experience. And the way he was talking to me so My wife step in and explained to the manager what we did and he was getting a little bit of a mouth in his tone of voice. We were told if we ever had a problem to always go to Home depot for advice or talk to a manager. My wife cut in on the conversation because I am a little slow and I don't explain myself very well. But Carlos came across with an attitude when my wife was trying to explain plus I couldn't understand what he was saying because I have a hearing aid and my hear

I went to Home Depot in Fairfield Ca. and placed a special order on a front door. They advised the door would take approx. 2 weeks. I ordered it but then figured it was going to take too long. I called to cancel the order and was placed on hold. After about 20 minutes of being on hold, someone just hung up. I called back and so far I've been on hold for 20 plus minutes.

I have to brag on Joey!My hubby and I went here Saturday evening to buy a Christmas tree. The one outside weren't looking that great, so we thought we'd go inside to look at the kind you can put up year after year.We found one that looked nice and couldn't find the box for it. We kept trying to find someone to help us with no avail. One guy said he'd send someone and whoever that person was never showed up.Somehow I came across Joey. He was immediately friendly and could sense my semi-distress. I told him I was trying to find the box for a particular tree and asked if he could help.Joey stopped what he was doing to help me find the box. There were not left. He scanned to see if the store had anymore. They nor any of the neighboring stores had them. Oh the sadness!Hmmm...what to do?My eyes glanced at the floor model. The lightbulb came on to ask if they could sell it to us.Joey said yes! I jumped up and down with excitement.I looked at the tree trying to figure out what to do with it. We've never had an artificial before so I hadn't the slightest idea on how to take it down or anything.Joey jumped in to action. He proceeded to take the tree down and look for bins to put it in. I was surprised how heavy each piece was. Joey said the tree is made of metal so it will last a long time. Wow!Joey found an actual tree storage bag for all of the pieces to go in. It looked like a body bag! Whoa!Joey gave us a nice discount since it was the floor display. That was well appreciated.Joey made sure we had a flatbed cart to take it to our car.Joey's kindness was wonderful to receive. He is a great employee and human being. Thanks so much Joey!!!
