I chose Fairfield Transmission Specialists because my father and brother have had great experiences with them in the past. The success streak continues, as Vince and his team did a great job replacing my transmission. Vince was so helpful and accommodating, explaining everything through the entire process. He was responsive to my inquiries and kept me informed throughout. Vince is a straight shooter and will give you an honest opinion and assessment.

The manager Vince went above and beyond for me and I would refer anyone to this shop for transmission needs. The customer service exceeded expectations and quality of work was some of the best I’ve ever seen. Not only was the work done fast and efficient it was the fairest price that I have seen in California. There was no upselling or trying to get me to pay for something that I didn’t need; just a straight forward price and everything was explained in great detail on what work was happening with my vehicle and what the cost would be. If you want good reliable work on your vehicle this is the place?

My truck was throwing a code and going to limp mode. I have a 2016 ram Cummins which is my baby. I talked to Vince and we came up with a plan to do a stage 2 kit and it’s the best thing I’ve done to my truck! It’s absolutely amazing. The shop is awesome and the customer service is even better!

Vince nailed it. Rebuilt by factory 6L80 transmission in my suburban, it failed at 79k miles. Car came back a week later, work was on time and meticulous! He upgraded all of the failure prone components to future proof it and 600 miles down the road, everything is perfect with zero leaks. Looking under the truck, it’s as if it left the showroom. No greasy finger prints or signs of sloppy work. Bolts, cables ties and hardware is all where it’s supposed to be and the new shift points that he programmed are spot on. Thank you, Vince!!!

Where do i start his service from beginning to end was incredible and amazing work and efficient.I took my 2017 gmc sierra 2500 hd. I had got the extended warranty package from dealership AUL and he took on the JOB i am greatful for all the work done transmission felt like new.GuaranteedAnd trusted work you will get from Fairfield transmission.As long as im living im taking all my transmissions promblems to his shop.Thank you !!!!!

The experience was dreadful on top of the fact my truck was down I made 5 trips to pick it up and it wasn't ready or test driven ended up purchasing another trans for them to install. Fact is the old man retired left it to the son and I can't believe the number of 5Star reviews based on my experience guess even a broke clock gets it right 2x a day.

Had my wife's transmission rebuilt 2 years ago the work was excellent. Transmission was running low on fluid they flushed and added fluidfor a very good deal. Very professional!! Thanks cars running beautifully.

My transmission went out and called around for quotes but every place wanted to take my car and send it to their transmission guy. Once I found Vince he made me feel confident that my car was going to be taken care of and all my needs will be met in one location. Fairfield transmission specialist not only rebuilt my transmission and sent me on my way, they also informed me of other issues that I would've had and they fixed those too.
