DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE IF ITS OLDER THAN 2017!!!
The salesman name Sajjad seemed decent and the truck my husband purchased, 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 was tested and seemed functional at the time of purchase, but the very next day, the check engine light came on. My husband ran a check on the truck that showed a code indicating a transmission issue. My husband being very distraught, called Sajjad. He told my husband to come in the next day to see if he could help. Sajjad, my husband and I drove the car out of town about 20 miles until the light went off. Sajjad then proceeds to ask my husband how many people were in the car and how fast was he driving before the light came on. Then he told my husband he should not be driving faster than 50 mph in the truck. WHAT??? He basically blamed him for the issue. He claimed he drove the truck 1000 miles before they sold it to us and there were no issues. I asked Sajjad about the 10 Day cooling period according to the CA Lemon Law (regarding returning vehicle and getting a refund) and did he explain this clause to my husband BEFORE he had my husband check off NO to "purchase the offer to cancel" in the contract. Sajjad said he doesn't have to explain it if the vehicle is older than 2017. So I said to Sajjad, "So what you're basically saying is that anyone who buys a vehicle from you and it's older than 2017 is screwed.?" Then he flat out said YES. WOW!! Then he said he could write us a check for a transmission check for $200, but that's all he could do. As he is writing the check and my husband is now realizing he is stuck with a Lemon, Sajjad is humming a song out loud the entire time, like it's just a normal day in the neighborhood, another Lemon sold, another bonus in his pocket. This truck was priced at $7800. It was sold to him on December 2nd, paid in cash. Check engine light came on the 3rd, less than 24 hours after he got it and today as I write this, December 26th, the truck doesnt even start up. $7800 down the drain.
PLEASE DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE KNOWINGLY SELLING CARS THAT THEY WILL NEVER HONOR A COOLING PERIOD FOR IF THE VEHICLE IS OLDER THAN 2017. GO TO A DEALERSHIP THAT HONORS THE COOLING PERIOD REGARDLESS OF THE AGE OF THE VEHICLE. I'M WARNING YOU TO USE WISDOM AND DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE ANY VEHICLE PURCHASE. SAJJAD AND THIS DEALERSHIP ARE OUT FOR MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS AND NOTHING MORE. THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU THE CONSUMER!!

The Mazda5 that I purchased in April has worked flawlessly (for an used car) and has had no issues after 4000 miles. The transaction was straight forward and everything was done within 2 hours time of arriving at the office and taking the car out for a 25 minutes test drive. Very pleased with the experience & purchase.

The dealer at Cherry Downtown Motors not only seemed very honest, he also educated me on some rights that I have as a used car buyer from a dealership that I wasn't aware. He also let me know where a different dealership from a previous used car purchase failed to follow law so I am informed in the future. It's only been week but my wife and I enjoyed the buying experience and have enjoyed the car thus far. I would buy for Cherry Downtown Motor in the future.

Sajjad and Cherry Hill Motors are great. He is totally transparent regarding every aspect of a car he sells. Helpful, answers all questions, shows all records, no pressure and the car is excellent. Glad I found him and hope to more business with him in the future. Highly recommend.
