More of a PSA - don't let them vaccinate your pets if they put your animal on short term medication. Probably better to err on the side of caution and wait until they're 100% better...It's tough to be a vet to our furry friends without voices, but don't be afraid to advocate and ask questions for them. We unfortunately didn't have that experience and are in regret we didn't say anything - it potentially cost our animal more suffering with a weaker immune system and probably advanced the infection. She passed away less than a week later in an ER situation.The doctor didn't run blood tests or x-rays after acknowledging our animal had big lungs, which was surprising in hindsight.The staff was friendly overall, and helpful with answering questions over the phone when our animal was in the ER.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this practice. My dog had a bacterial issue with one of her paws -- an issue that had lingered over the course of months, with multiple treatments and antibiotics prescribed by another local vet. The vets in this practice (all 5 of them) recommended surgically removing her paw pad. I booked an appointment with Dr. Redfield to get a second opinion, and she immediately recognized it as a rare bacterium. With a simple treatment regimen, she cleared up the problem within two weeks. This is an exceptional practice with a fantastic front office team and an intelligent, kind, thoughtful, highly experienced vet who will give every patient the extraordinary benefits of her great intellect and her years of practice. I would give her 20 stars if I could.

My own vet couldn't make room for my pup after she ripped a dew claw. WMPH got her in the next morning and took great care of her. They are our vet now!

So disappointed, first time at this vet and as soon as I go there they had me waiting for 15 minutes just for them to tell me they cannot take my Guinea pig because they had new stuff and she didn’t know the vet wasn’t in the building. Wasted my mi time I drove 30 minutes for nothing! At least they could’ve call me to let me know they couldn’t see my pet instead of me driving 30 minutes and waste my time. Wish I could give 0 stars

I have been bringing my family pets to Dr. Redfield for many years, from Mill Valley to Fairfax. She is an excellent veterinarian and an amazingly compassionate person. There is no one else with whom i could entrust the health and care of my loving pets with such peace of mind. I am extremely grateful to her and her staff.

We Highly Recommend WMPH!They are very cordial, receptive and attentive.We found them during COVID lockdown when our Vet was extremely overwhelmed with patients and they warmly accepted us most graciously.The care given by every team member is outstanding, tender and sweet.They have helped us through routine care, euthanasia of our 17 yr old feline and an emergency of our beloved 5 yr old little pup.We always felt welcomed, well cared for and a genuine heartfelt loving connection to the animals they attend to.We are so happy and appreciative to have their services in our town.❣️

Compassionate, caring and clinical experts! Amazing team of people who were exceptionally kind during the loss of our 9-year-old guinea pig. This was an unexpected, sudden illness and they went above and beyond to ensure our little one got emergent and humane care. VERY grateful! 10-STARS! Very kind and experienced with fearful dogs. We have a rescue dog with high anxiety who needed his teeth cleaned. They were very helpful to book us at times the clinic is not busy, and understood pre-med & anesthesia procedures for high fear dogs, which we've had issues with at other vets. Great communication and easy to schedule.

I was really pleased they saw my dog who was suffering from an ear infection the same day I called in. The staff and Dr. May were very sweet with both my dog and me. Dr. May diagnosed the issue and followed up with a good treatment plan. The office is clean and has super cute pictures on the wall that made me laugh and took the edge off worrying about my pet.Overall I'm satisfied. Another thing I liked is that they stay engaged. The day after my dog's visit I received a text asking how my pet is doing. Nice!

I took my beloved cat in because he had stopped eating and they were able to rapidly narrow down possible diagnoses. They went above and beyond on a Friday evening to fill a prescription that he needed! Amazing and caring staff.

Very knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and honest. They went out of their way to keep our dog comfortable. Happy we found this place. We'll be transferring our other dog here as well.
