“While not quite the nirvana as the name suggests, Paradise Wine & Spirits can be a wonderful oasis for your boozy needs. You'll find them in East Corte Madera in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it location (a hop/skip/and jump away from Nugget Market). This liquor store's been a Marin County staple for years. I remember trying to buy beer here with my fake ID in high school over 20 years ago (spoiler alert: it didn't work). This place ain't fancy by any means. You'll pretty much find beer, spirits, candy, snacks, and some random canned food & cleaning products. It's not exactly what I think about when I hear the word "Paradise," but this place always has what you need when you're in a jam, so in a way, I could argue that's quite heavenly. Long review short, this is a solid liquor/convenient store option when you're in Marin. They have plenty of free parking in the front. And I gotta give them props for adhering to all the proper Covid-19 safety guidelines (masks, gloves, and a glass partition between the customer and cashier).”
“It's been here forever...it's a nice place w all the liquor u can buy n a fast n friendly staff...courteous but firm in their policies....it's not much of a great look outside but it's safe n clean....go check it out....it's ok n the owner is a nice man....no Marin attitude or snotty looks...the store is been there forever n deserves to be patronized for if anything...it's longevity n dealings w customers....I like it n I'm hard to please sometimes but it really is a nice place....if a few malcontents are slithering outside don't worry....they keep an eye out..”
“Have to say, I agree with Abraham below! These gentlemen were exceptionally helpful with a delivery I needed—and I'll say several other stores declined (Blackwell's included). The package arrived carefully packed for cross-country delivery within a two week window. These days it feels better than ever to be treated with respect and to bet met halfway with reasonable requests. I'm not from the area, but I can certainly suggest this shop for its wonderful customer service and selection. Enjoy!”
“I just called to find a wine that turns out they don't have in stock. I called to save myself an unnecessary journey. A person named Ricky was so patient and thoroughly checked. He was alone and couldn't ask anyone else. He'd only been working there 2 days which is why he wasn't sure and checked so thoroughly. They are lucky to have him. Such a kind and helpful person!!”
“This store is FANTASTIC! As a realtor, I was looking for a place to host my First Time Home Buyer Happy Hour Class and Total Wine checked all the boxes. Anthony, the manager, and Albert provided amazing customer service in helping us schedule the room, familiarize ourselves with the tech, order wine, and handle all details. “What a wonderful little bodega! They have so many products to cook authentic Spanish meals - complete with cooking and serving wear you'd find in most bars and restaurants across Spain. I didn't have time to browse the wine selection but they seemed to have a great variety. It's also a great store for to put together a white elephant gift basket...I'll be back soon!”

“Pretty happy with their imported beer selection since some of it is hard to find. They have westmalle dubbel & trippel, rochefort 6 8 10, saisons and lambic, and a decent amount of German hef, helles & dubbelbock. Did not see Orval though, possibly sold out.”

Can be hard to park in San Francisco. In my case is coming by San Raphael when I'm driving north is pretty much weekly occurrence. Dita the charming co owner is always helpful.”

Pricing was fair and consistent with all of my purchases. Found some items I could not locate elsewhere. The chemistry between buyer and seller is always in flux. I was always made to feel welcome. “I've been going to safeway at cabrillo and 10th for more than 30 years. I consider the people who work there not as employees, but as friends. Denise, Ricky Givens, Eric, Prudencia in produce are all hardworking and easy to get along with. They know their inventory, and are helpful in finding items that you are unable to find.
