When I get my hair styled by Kaz I say to myself, “this is the best yet.” I’m not disappointed. I’ve been going to her for cuts \u0026 highlights for about 4 yrs. Her new salon is like taking time out at a spa! The best.

Kathryn was fantastic. I came in with a covid mop of diy-gone-wrong and left with a crown of hand-spun silky sultriness. I feel beautiful again in a way that makes my heart sing notes I didn't even know I could hit. Recommend.

I just got a great haircut - outdoors, safely masked up, sanitary - and I couldn't be happier. Shannon did a super job and it's soooooo great to look like myself again after six months of shelter in place.

Lauren is amazing! After 7 years with one stylist I was having a difficult time another great one. I had a consutation with her first. When I went back for the cut.....she nailed it!!!! Such a friendly and eco-friendly shop.

I thank Hairfax owner Kaz and stylist Kathryn for a very positive experience today at Hairfax Studio in Fairfax, CA. Kathryn did a great job. I got exactly the haircut I wanted. Beyond that I experienced their attention to detail and professionalism. The outdoor venue was well thought out. Everything was done right. Things tend to be so stressful these days. This was the exception. I felt very safe and well taken care of.

This place is soooooo great. A neighborhood place with a DEEPLY knowledgeable, experienced staff. Lauren and Amanda went out their way to accommodate me. They also greet customers with a hot cup of special herbal tea for healthy hair, custom blended by the owner ...that is incredibly delicious! It just feels different here. GENUINELY welcoming and unusually friendly.

This review is for waxing services with Peach. After moving from SF and having my previous wax studio close, I was seeking a new aesthetician. Hairfax offers sugar wax and regular/strip wax and I chose a Brazilian sugar wax. Peach walks through each step before and during your treatment so you know what to expect and is very knowledgeable on her waxing technique. I've had some many Brazilians from CA to Miami and thought i had had sugaring done but realized a few minutes in that i hadn't. Sugar wax is an age-old technique that is friendly on the environment AND your skin. A few days later, this was best wax I've probably ever had with no ingrown or signs of any looming! Couldn't be happier and will return for additional services with Peach!

Peach Wright has been my esthetician for a long time, giving me Brazilian waxes and most recently a lash lift. Peach is a true professional! I had never had a lash lift before and Peach was great at walking me through the process and explaining everything before and during the treatment. She was gentle and I absolutely loved the results! The same can be said for her waxing. Peach is extremely thorough, and I am always very satisfied with the end results. She also has great tips on how to care for my skin to prevent ingrown hairs and keep my waxes lasting longer. I've gone to Peach many times and highly recommend her for all your esthetician needs! She's amazing!!

I asked for a cut below my shoulders. The stylist cut my hair above my shoulders and didn't even double check before she cut it. After she cut it too short she asked "Is this okay?". What was I supposed to say "No, please put it back". I am very upset about this.
