Highly recommend this store! I called them 5 minutes before closing desperately searching for my puppy's hard-to-find kibble. The two people I spoke with were both so kind and helpful - and they made sure I got the food I needed. My puppy and I thank you! Please support this wonderful store and staff - it's a gem!

I ran out of food for my dogs, so I stopped here to pick up some small batch (which is a freeze dried raw). When I opened the bag, the patties were soft and slightly damp. I looked at the expiration and it expired 11 months ago in 9/21. I then looked at the bag of treats I purchased too and it expired in 4/22, 4 months ago. I called the store and they told me to bring it back. I was on a road trip and wasn't able to return back to their store. It would have taken too long to go back, so I called back and left a message. They never called me back. I love to support small businesses but feel that they should be more diligent about selling expired food. I didn't have any other food with me for my pups, so I fed them the food for one meal, one of them ended up with diarrhea.

Took our dog in for grooming. They were gentle, but thorough, and did a fantastic job. You can tell they really care about the animals and customers they serve. Just good people and great service. All that needs to be said.

Wonderful store, wonderful people, just exactly where you want to go when you love your animals and want them to have the best attention. Patty is also a great groomer, with lots of love and patience for all her furry clients. Can't recommend this store enough.

I’m so grateful to have a local pet food store. I prefer to spend my money locally, when I can. They’re a staple for our community. I finally utilized the dog grooming service, too. My homeless looking street dog came out looking like a cute pampered purebred. Thanks so much, Patty and Bill!!

A phone call to this business to confirm they could meet my needs found a friendly person on the other end of the line. Knowing For Paws had my needs for cats and chickens, I stopped in later to grab my goods. It wasn't just the guy on the line earlier who was knowledgeable and nice; it was alll the staff! There is a private parking lot for this business and some others, so avoid the main drag, Bolinas, if it's a busy time. The lot is also handy for loading big items like I collected. Needless to say, I had help out to my car. It goes without saying, that I'll return for the next pet needs I've got.

I love this pet store. The people running the place are so nice and so helpful. They always remember you. It's definitely a place that makes you feel like family. Fairfax is really lucky to have a pet store like this.

These people are always so helpful. I have my dog food hand delivered from them every two weeks and they charge my account. It’s never been so simple to get my dog food. BETTER THAN AMAZON for pet supplies, pet food, pet treats, and of course we love our small businesses in Fairfax. This one is surely treasured by me, the fam, and our chihuahua.

The women at the cash register (I think she's the owner) was extremely helpful. They had everything we needed and great recommendations. They also have a drive up pick up right now so you don't even have to go inside!
