Brought my new scared rescue pup in for treatment and the staff are all very sweet and patient with her and me! Bright new office with lots of space to even sit in a little semi private alcove if you need a little extra distance. Parking can be a little tricky, but I found I can park in the United grocery parking lot and it’s a short easy walk inside to the vet. No worries!

They took good care of my cat with an abscess. He's now completely healed and healthy.
I was shocked by how expensive vet care has gotten.
Luckily, they referred me to Marin Humane's "Pet Safety Net" program, which helped pay the majority of the fees.
I would have appreciated if they warned me of the cost of the examination up front. However, they did roll that into the total cost of the care, which I appreciated.

We love this vet!!! Everyone is so knowledgeable and welcoming. We had already been loving this place for standard care, but recently our dog got a foxtail stuck in his nose (on a Sunday night) so we took him to the emergency vet only to be hit with a huge bill and they didn't find it. We took him here a few days later and they got it right away! They do a great job for a fair price and we are so lucky to have them so close by.

The staff is always compassionate and has taken good care of my pup. Dr. Kelly Pipkin and her colleagues listen to my concerns and treat my pup with kindness. I definitely recommend!

Post spay I brought a recovery suit for my cat and asked if they could put in on her Kelly Pipkin said "no we're charging you for a plastic cone, but if you want we'll take it off and give her back to you with no protection for her sutures." I declined her insane suggestion and said "fine, don't take off the cone then, because then she would have no protection and that would obviously be negligent. Another woman then came out and said "we took the cone off." I asked why and there was no explanation. At this point I realized I was interacting with people who's brains were turned off so I said "just give me my cat, I'm ready to leave." The woman brought my poor terrified cat into the waiting room without her carrier, holding her above her head by her neck and mumbling incoherently about going to another room to put on the recover suit. It was physically painful to watch this insane person parade around the office with my little angel, right after surgery in response to me saying very clearly "give me my cat now." I agian said "give me my cat now." She refused and darted back behind closed doors and inexplicably tied the plastic cone tight around Prada's neck. I ordered them to stop putting the plastic collar on and off Prada for no reason, continually traumatizing her for no reason, and give me my damn cat back immediately - which they finally did. Agressively stupid staff and vet Kelly Pipkin.

We searched a long time ago to find a vet who could help us address our older kitty's skin allergies, and Fairfax Vet has been so caring and attentive at helping us make Pepper's life more comfortable. We are so grateful for the whole staff and the way they treat our animals.

My dog died while in their care.
Their vets did a lousy job to diagnose her, and treat her.
I would NOT recommend this clinic.

Wish there were more stars to rate this fantastic clinic ! I've been taking my dog here for many years. The staff has been nothing but AMAZING! An honest, considerate, and professional staff that always treated me and my dog with all heart ! Very grateful for all their services, time and insight.

We take our husky mix here and have also taken our foster dog here. The staff is really friendly and efficient. It has also been pretty easy to get an appointment here which we love. They I helped us figure out that our dog is very allergic to a lot of the plants in the area and are helping us treat his allergies with shots.

I can't speak highly enough of the clinic. I'm so grateful to the office manager Liz for her help in getting my cat Wally checked out and his paperwork done for international travel. The kindness and attention to detail from the vet's and staff is unsurpassed in Marin County.
