Joe and Chris made sure my rack was level and that I could still reach the pedals. It took a bit of adjusting but they took their time to make it right. They have great inventory but it's the personal touch that makes this shop so great. Highly recommend!”
“We had a very great day riding the gravelbikes around San Francisco! The bikes were pretty good, the helmets were new (rentals! ??) and chrissy was really friendly, helpef us a lot, gave top recommendations. The rentsl price was really high though.. 120$ is too much for a one day rental. Not even in Moab or around Lake Tahoe the prices were that high.

The pricing is transparent and fair and I have always found the bike shop service and repairs to be as good as it gets. The owner has been in the bike industry for decades and he hires solid employees.”
“I was a customer of Caesar's Cyclery recently when I was visiting from Arizona. Cesar Sr. helped me pick out a rental bicycle and spent time carefully adjusting the fit of my helmet and helping me get started. Caesar's is a great, family-run bicycle shop with helpful staff that cares about doing right by their customers and making them feel at home and setting them up for success on their two wheel adventures in Marin County. “What a great shop! I have a unique ride--a terra trike with an electric motor. Rich took on the challenge of bleeding the brakes and doing a tuneup on the braking system. “I needed my sram code brakes bled and Krakatoa bikes was the only shop out of all the Fairfax bike shops, that was willing to work on sram brakes and do it on the spot for me. Most other shops in Fairfax either told me they don’t want to bleed sram brakes because it’s a pain or gave me a long turn around time. Miguel from Krakatoa is such a nice, honest, hard worker, he is always willing to take on a job that the other shops don’t feel like doing.”
