“I've been to this location 3-4 times and had different people each time. They were nice and helpful, and I unloaded 3-6 bags of clothes each time. I thought I would have to got to several locations but this was a one stop! Thanks folks, for making this a pleasant and easy experience”

“Thrift store with a lot of potential, however have been coming here for years and have found very little worth commenting on! Always a smell in the building, like old perfume. Messes with my nose sometimes.Other than that, pretty average thrift store. Goodwill has a better selection if you’re looking for good finds. Employees here are always kind and helpful. For local reviews or travel content you can find us on most socials @sunsetourist”

“I'm a big thrifter and love to shop in every states local thrift stores. Stumbled upon this little gem while exploring there area. They have serval locations. Nice selection of career clothing, trendy styles. Plus, jewelry, men's clothing, and a separate area in back for boys & girls clothes, infant & toddlers too! Store was clean and organized which I appreciate while browsing. Didn't pick anything up today. However, I will definitely be back. The pricing is super reasonable and additionally this chain supports women and children. So, this is an even better reason to purchase and donate your items here.”

“This place is incredible, stumbled upon it the beginning of this year. I’m from Sonoma County and this is a must-stop for me while I’m passing through the area every time! Wish I lived closer because I’d go every day! Monique and all the staff go above and beyond to make connections with customers and to keep the place flowing with fresh new finds! My absolute favorite thrift spot and cannot recommend enough!!”

“In a good way, I’ve noticed a lot of employees are learning English which makes me happy to support a business that makes room for people that are learning. Clean for a thrift store, clothes are well organized. Decent amount of housewares and furniture usually I’m here for frames, and furniture. Nika has helped me with furniture twice and has gone out of her way to find me a tape measure etc. Today she opened another cashier station and I really appreciated it to get through the line faster.”

“Wow. Just visited here today for the first time. Women’s, men’s and children’s clothing. Jewelry. Purses. Shoes. I saw women’s clothing from Chico’s, Paige, Old Navy, etc. Books, CDs, DVDs, furniture, china. The store is large and the employees were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return. We happened to visit on a random 50% off day!”

“This store is incredible! I found so many beautiful vintage pieces that would be expensive elsewhere. They even do occasional $1 sales, which are a steal! The staff are kind and helpful as well. Finally, The store is small so it doesn’t feel too overwhelming. I’m obsessed!”

“This Thrift Store is absolutely amazing! I wish there were Thrift Stores like this in every City! Their volunteers are especially kind and welcoming. Not only is it clean, organized and lovely, but they have top of the line items at terrific prices. I can take my items to donate knowing that it benefits the local SPCA!! That is HUGE for me. You just can't find a better place to shop and to donate to! THANK YOU PLACER SPCA!!!”

“Such a fun thrift shop to explore! I managed to pick up an amazing vintage Made in USA dress with a style I always go for when thrifting, cute compact mirror, watch, and purse and although I spent more than I usually do while thrifting, these items you really can't find anywhere else, as is true when finding treasure while thrifting. Store has a lot of stuff to look at which I'll spend more time browsing next time. They have clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, unique vintage home decor and just fun and interesting things to look at that are a part of history. The cashier was very sweet and friendly and made the shopping experience more pleasant. I'll definitely be back!”

“They are amazing. I almost didn’t go because of the bad reviews. Now that I went I’m so glad I did. I really think the bad reviews were people trying to keep the great secret to themselves. The prices are amazing. There’s beautiful things the two young men and one young lady working there were absolutely charming. I can’t wait to go back.”

“This is a hit or miss kind of place. Sometimes you find wonderful stuff, and sometimes it's overpriced crap. But.. they sell makeup! I Love buying high-end makeup here and always pick up some for my daughter in law's stockings. The workers here are super nice. Worth a stop!”

“I stopped in here wanting to drop off some clothes and just browse around, I thought the shop was very well organized and very clean. I wish that the selection of clothing was a little bit younger, but it may cater to an older crowd. The overall prices are decent, and I'm sure you could find a thing or two here, I was looking for clothes and couldn't really find much, but I'll be back!”

“Finally visited this thrift shop. Bought great wooden pant/jacket hangers at nice price ($4 for 5 and there was more) and three puzzles ($3 ea and there were many more). Generally quality items, mostly very good condition and the shoes were quality brands. Lots of stuff from the 80s (especially clothing) gave me flashbacks. Overeager workers/volunteers. I really like to be left alone when I shop. When I decided I'd hand them my items while I checked out the shoes (good condition, many like new, though spendy $35+), they wanted my name - no thanks. Place isn't large nor are the racks or shelves crowded. Parking along the side (coming from I-80, enter parking lot just before the store) and in back. Exit is on the other side of the store. Donations - go around back. Limited hours it seems. The Yelp page says the proceeds all go to help the local community. I'm always skeptical of claims but I'll choose to believe it and I'm glad this clean, tidy thrift shop with a clean parking lot has a generous positive mission (unlike the unscrupulous "GW"). I might swing by again in the future, if it's convenient. Definitely would prefer to be coming from I-80 instead of making another awkward u-turn coming from El Camino Avenue.”

“I am actually reviewing the store donation policy, which I found to be exceptional. I had several, large unopened boxes when I moved and had no more room for storage. After having Christmas dinner at my house, I decided that I needed to locate my missing serving items & move things around. I put together 2 smaller boxes and decided to drop off at Goodwill in Citrus Heights. When I arrived there, I found that the store was closing and not accepting donations. A sign indicating closest Goodwill is at San Juan and Sutter. I decided to put all the donation items together and make one trip. When I arrived at the location, I was told she is accepting one box or bag. Not in a polite manner. Is Goodwill on its way out? As I was driving home, I remembered the Thrift store at San Juan and Greenback. I thought, what could it hurt to inquire about donations. The store front is clearly marked with delivery times and days. As I was in the delivery window for Wednesday, I decided to go in. It was an outstanding and amazing experience. I was greeted by a tall young man who was so knowledgeable and welcoming. He took a large cart, went out to my car , carefully filled the cart, and then asked me if I wanted a receipt. Quite honestly, I have not been to this store, in the past, as I'm trying to scale down. All my future donations will be delivered to this store. I do believe that some of the items donated were antiques. Thank you for the kind and outstanding service. I'm sorry I did not get your name.”

“I love to support the American Cancer Society Discovery Shops. Roseville, Folsom, Sacramento and Elk Grove. My favorite to shop at and donate. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable and love what they do. The prices may be higher than other resale shops but the quality of merchandise reflects that. Think about the programs you are supporting when you shop at one of these shops. And who hasn’t been affected by cancer. When I travel around California I always look for an American Cancer Society Discovery Shop!”

“This place is a gem, one of the few thrift stores that are affordable pricing. And when it comes to thoughtfulness of how well cared for the products are. They do an excellent job of testing things before they are sold, now a days your lucky to get a product if it works. You got to enjoy this place before these kinds of places are obsolete. Also the manager there and the workers are super genuine, I enjoy seeing them when I do. I truly hope for the time they put into organizing and keeping this place enjoyable they get paid well for their time and care. They deserve it and more for what they give to this community.Thank you for this delightful space! It’s the people that work their that really make it special.”

“First time visiting this store. Andrea was very friendly, welcoming, and overall provided amazing customer service! I bought books and a few home items. Store has cold drinks and snacks for purchase. Also, they sell a bunch of brand new items like blankets, hats, backpacks and more. It gave me flea market vibes. I’ll be back another day.”

“The manager saw that i was purchasing two gaming systems with cords and controllers, and one of the employees mention that they just hot another gaming system in to put away in the case when i was being rung up at the registers, i said i would purchase the third system and she gave me a good deal on it.”

“Great place to find items at prices you will never find anywhere else. Customer assistance and satisfaction are not on every employee's list but it is all about the customer. Now that they play classic rock instead of that horrible rap, shopping has been made soothing. But whatever you buy, "shopper beware" most items are donated.”

“I lost a shirt somewhere between the cash register and my home. I called because I thought it may have fallen out and restocked and let me tell you...they went ABOVE & BEYOND what I expected! My goodness, they did everything in their power which included reviewing the tape of our transaction. My heart was sad when I got home without my blouse, but my faith in good humans was renewed! I 100% will be back and sing the praises of the good people at Orangevale Goodwill, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!!”

“This is one of my favorite thrift stores to visit weekly. I recommend visiting Mary's Thrift Store on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday as those days are 50% off everything. Every other day she has 50%-75% off specific color tags which can be found on a whiteboard once you enter and on a hanging sign on the ceiling above the clothes. I always find really great deals here. I recently purchased a Lululemon Scuba Hoodie Full Zip for $40 which retails for $150 brand new. I found True Religion jeans, Express clothing, Levi's jeans, and so many other name-brand clothing for such a good deal.”
