i asked a worker if i could use there bathroom and they gave me a dirty look for merely asking? why? a common fear of mine is asking customer service a question and then annoying the employee even though their meant to help customers. never ever asking to use the bathroom again.

They overcharged me for a birthday cake, the Associate who supervises the cashiers, or the front area, I believe Samantha (white lady with tattoos on her chest and short hair, in her 50s but pretends to be a young girl) is rude, incompetent and nonprofessional to handle customers issues. The store manager, the young lady, supported her that she is good with customers, that tells me even the store manager is incompetent and nonprofessional. Hey, I got my money back! You dealt with the wrong customer who holds two degrees in management. I can offer a free training for ya ladies.

This store has the worst service I've experienced in years. They don't care about their customers. The app shows an item is in stock, then instructs you to "ask an associate." When you ask where it can be found, the answer: I don't know <shrug>. Employees don't memorize everything in the store <eyeroll>. Bad treatment isn't an isolated event. My first couple of trips there, I wrote off the lack politeness/help, thinking it might be bad timing on my part. However, every single time I go there I am surprised again by their disdain for customers. I happily now drive miles out of my way to go to Raley's where you can always count on employees who are eager to be helpful.

Sad visit today. Empty shelves in produce, and very empty in Deli. The deli clerk tried very hard to find my item, but the whole counter was empty and only Primo was available. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

What are these bananas I was delivered? Literally every one is bruised and soft and disgusting. I mean I tipped nicely, picked the biggest delivery window.. what the flip. Expect better for the prices you offer Safeway. Gah dang.

8:30 at night. 1 checker .. 8 people in line. 1 was disabled. The young man was doing a really good job but he had no help..not a bagger or another checker. People were asking to please put on another checker but it fell on deaf ears. Of course there were 2 employees chatting aand laughing over by the self checkouts. You can tell thruout the store that the employees who were there are not happy.. a few downright grumpy.. GET THEM HELP!

This was my go to store years back. Not anymore!!! This store has gone downhill in all aspects and departments. The poor treatment of employees is reflected and projected by many employees. It was never like that, even when I worked there as the baker.

Great staff and very helpful if I cannot find something. Only wish they carried low Fodmap products from Fody Brand Foods like other Safeway's.

I've shopped this store for awhile no problems at all I would of gave 5+ stars then they found out that my girlfriend and I was living in our car there service changed like night and day because of the way they changed up on us I know take my money else where which causes me to loss out on the great deals and money saving rewards that I'd use putting gas into my home 2 maybe 3 times a month it's all good though were I shop now they keep a smile on there face and even give us leads to community resources thanks but no thanks Safeway on Dewey

Everyone at this Safeway is very friendly. The store is always clean and is well lit.The baristas at Starbucks are always friendly and knowledgeable. They are helpful and make orders quickly.

To start off I love this Safeway and all the workers. But the management is trash. I always question if they have a union or not because the management is lawless and oversteps with the workers constantly. Under paid and under appreciated. Tammy is especially awful with her employees with multiple employees complaining to me about her and how she treats others I would hate to work for a person like her. I hope that corporate sees this because I would like to make a formal complaint about this place. And I would also like to find out the union phone number if they have one because the way they treat there people isn't right.

Very clean, staff was very helpful as I got 3 boxes of kitty litter helped get it to the trunk of my car but didn't provide the same out of trunk service at my home.Just kidding they were great but I did need to kid with the poor guy lifting 3 twenty pound boxes just a little.

quality of everything is always pretty good, but price gouging seems to be a thing at Safeway now. Its making it really hard to justify making a trip to this store when all i need to do is drive 4 more minutes down the road to a different grocery store and pay almost half of what Safeway charges. Get it together guys!
