“I have taken my precious Angel to Bark Avenue twice......The staff is very kind......an appointment isn't needed for nail trimming.......Kio has trimmed Angels nails on both visits.....she is very nice .......she is patient with Angel and you can see that she loves her job.......I highly recommend Bark Avenue”
“Its a great place to get bird food and items related to many sorts of type of exotic birds. Can get food per lbs if not want to buy much. Not sure what type to get? Ask any associate who can help. Plus you can check out all types cages an misc. At times these birds come out an cam be petted. Great place too for cutting wings/nail at a great price. Shop has all sorts type of beautiful birds alot vomr5to the shop as babies. Hand held ones an non held birds. Its where I bought my lil birdie. ? So need a certain type of birds these is the place, don't see the ones your looking for? A friendly staff member ready to help out or answer any question or concern too.”

“Came here to get a bag of hay to winterize the fetal cathouses my husband and I have in our backyard for the cats we care for. A small, beautifully appointed feed store that had a great selection of premium pet food and supplements, and some pretty awesome looking chicken coops if you are lucky enough to have a yard big enough for chickens! The store is super clean and the young woman who packaged up my small bag of straw was super sweet! I've been driving by this store for many decades and it's super convenient, since it's not that easy to find a true feed store in the area.”

“I've been trying to find a good cat groomer in the area, and this place was amazing. The staff were so sweet and did a great job with my cat. The price is also one of the more affordable I've been able to find. They got me in one day after I called for an appointment. Long hair cat bath, de-shed, and brush was only $108! No complaints here. I can tell the staff care about the animals they work on. My cat came back so fresh and so clean!!”
“I go here because its close to home. Staff is very knowledgeable on the layout of the store when you're trying to find things, for whatever kind of animal you have. A large variety of product lines for most categories you may be looking for. I can't say anything about the selection of fish, vertebrates, or other living creatures because I haven't perused those areas. Mainly because I'm an animal lover and I know I'd walk out of there with more pets under my arm!”

“Great workers and service, but their freshwater tropical fish selection is very limited. Most of what I'm looking for isn't stocked any more (clown loaches, silver dollar tetras, rummy nose tetra, etc), and their selection of filter media for fish tank filters is scattered at best.”
“I had an amazing experience at SBarkles! John was super nice and incredibly knowledgeable. He spent a generous amount of time consulting us on the different dog foods and their ingredients, which was invaluable for our super sensitive dogs. The store was spotless, and they also have several convenient dog washing stations. Highly recommend SBarkles for all your pet needs!”

“In store experience in Roseville has been excellent. Petco on Douglas Blvd, Roseville offers quick, convenient and personal service. They offer a good selection and are typically well stocked. The store and restrooms are well maintained. The groomers do a good job caring for my dogs too. It's a bonus that the pets who bring their people to the store are well behaved. (Most of the people are too).
The Petco website, however, is subpar. The repeat delivery option doesn't disclose that shipping cost will be added or what they will be. I tried to align my orders to avoid shipping charges but they can't be modified--only deleted.
The search tool--even using quotes--brings up unrelated items. For example, "small animal hay" search lists treats without hay and "GloFish Sea Green Grass Plant Fluorescent Under Blue LED Light Aquarium Decor". "Rabbit food" brings up ferret treats and water bottles. Filters don't filter properly. Can't search by size or price. Paypal link is useless as it always gives me an error code. The best I can say is the website beats the instore prices, sometimes by a lot. So to get the best price, I order online for store pickup.”

“They had one line but three registers, so you have to go to the end of the one line then wait to go to a register that's ready. I had the big bag of dog food which I couldn't carry so I'm kicking it with my foot. Smdh. When the register for me was ready the cashier came and picked it up for me and walked me to my car. Which I was very pleased.”

“A little hole in the wall!
I'm used to going to the new remodeled Petcos that have the new vet clinic attached, but this was a small hole in the wall pet store that had a rustic feel and the employees felt like they just came in from the farm, so it was a nice change from a fancy store with a vet attached and a grooming room attached, and a training center.”
“Just moved here and was eager to go in here. The owner's suggestions about products for my dogs are working out well, and my dogs loved all their different treats. Really great store with a variety of products for large and small dogs.”
“great little spot for a self-service dog wash. i love having shampoo, conditioner, towels, and a blow dryer provided for $15 out to the door! Kensie was amazing (idk if that's how they spelled their name... no name tags but that's the name they provided when i asked for it) and just so helpful! i am definitely taking my pup back there again when we visit California in the future. both employees i encountered were helpful and very thorough with explaining how the self-service dog wash operates. it was a fabulous and friendly atmosphere and i really enjoyed my visit!”
“The employees were so welcoming and kind and the store was clean. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of a lack of XS dog harnesses and collars. I really wanted to make a purchase on a harness but couldn’t find one that I liked that would fit my puppy. The other reason for a 4 star is for the lack of shopping carts. I saw a high volume of customers here and only 3 carts. I had to keep putting my stuff on the floor to look at the collars and harnesses.”
“I took my dog here for her first-time grooming experience. She is 3 years old, but I always cut her nails at home. She had this back toenail that I could never get to very well. I decided to take her here. They were very gentle with her and it only took them 15 minutes. The guy cutting her nails was absolutely fantastic with her. All the workers there were kind and friendly. My dog came out more calm than she went in (she has anxiety), and her nails were cut better than I could cut them. I'll definitely be going back :)”

“Everyone at this location is lovely but the owner, Christine is just an exceptional human. My sweet cat got a pretty grim diagnosis and I frantically went in there and was so comforted by her every visit. She took the time with me to go over any (and ALL) of my questions and worries with such presence and compassion. It's rare to come across someone who is so whole heartedly committed to the health and well-being of your fur child-not to mention your fur child's parent. I am truly grateful to her and the staff as well as the incredible selection they so thoughtfully curate. If you love your pet-go NO WHERE ELSE.”
“I had the best experience with these kind people plus my Buddy really liked them. I am in my late 80s and had to go pick up Buddy in the dark. There shop is off the highway and hard to find at night. They said they called me right away because it was dark they would bring Buddy to my home but I didn't hear the phone ring, so I didn't pick up . They ended up taking me home in my car with husband driving me and his wife followed us to bring him home. I was amazed at the kindness they showed to me and they will be Buddy's groomers as long as I'm able to get him there. Plus they do a good job grooming my shi-tsu pup,”
“You can't find more knowledgeable and educated people than Chris and Staci. Honestly, they have helped me so much with food information for my dogs over the years. And health issues that could be food related. Their supply is huge even though the store is a bit small. Prices are excellent PLUS shopping locally and doing business with a smaller family owned store is rewarding on so many levels. Will never shop anywhere else.”
“Only reason I did not give 5 stars was because of their store hours and communication of their hours. I've ordered twice from here and I live about 30 minutes away. I called one morning for the day of my pickup and the voicemail said their new hours for Saturday was 10am. I showed up at 10 am and they were closed, a paper was placed outside their door stating they open at 12:30. I just wish their bakery times were constantly updated week to week because it's never accurate based on their website or if you call to their voicemail. Otherwise their treats are amazing and my dogs love them!”

“The employees are super nice and they always have what I need. However, I do wish that they would have a better selection of food for our leopard gecko. Most of the Dubia roaches are already dead as well as the non super mealworms. Our elderly leopard gecko can't eat the superworms. They're too big!!”
