Dr. Stamm and Dr. Miller are amazing. I've been taking my animals here for years. The care and compassion they show is beyond words.

Beware, their staff think prong collars and pain compliance are an excellent way to train an animal.

Staff was genuine warm and knowledgeable. I was seen at my appt time. I was treated as if I knew what I was talking about and got the best vet care for my 75lbs American bully I could find in a 1hr driving radius. Highly recommend

If any of these so called Veterinarians recommend your dog or cat get a dental xray and then recommend you pull out most of their teeth DON'T! They are not about what is best for your animals, they are about what is best for their bank account. Out little dog has suffered every day after they pulled out ALL of her teeth. Do not trust your pets to them.

It's an hour's drive to Meridian Vet Care, but it is worth the time. My dog is a nine-year old rescue with fear issues. When we go to our local vet, which is only a 5-minute drive away, he has to be sedated and muzzled for exams. We started going to Meridian Vet Care about three years ago because they were the only clinic that charged a reasonable price for titers. Due to the long distance, we go there only once a year for exams, lab work and titers. There, my dog is muzzled for exams, but not sedated with Trazadone. Yet, he does well and seems to enjoy the visit. I think the large windows with the beautiful views in the exam rooms has a calming effect on him. (See photo.) The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Tsai is wonderful and dedicated to helping your pets. She always calls me personally with test results, then the staff sends us the lab reports for our files. If you are looking for a vet clinic that offers conventional and holistic care for your pets, I highly recommend them.

Love Dr. Miller here. The staff is friendly. They offer a wide variety of services. Love the rug in the rooms for extra comfort as we sit on the floor with our dog.

Dr. Miller and Dr. De La Garza are the veterinarians I see at this clinic. Both were able to see me on short notice for some issues I’ve been having with my sport/working/performance dog, Fern. Setting up my account and making appointments are never a problem. Dr. Miller is intuitive, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Dr. De La Garza is to the point and very knowledgeable, all of which I need to make decisions on care for my girl. Fern loves coming here and everyone is kind, caring, and loving. I knew she was in the best hands when I had to leave her for a surgery procedure. She’s recovering perfectly and I’m so thankful of the wonderful staff who took such great care of her. They’ve checked on her, made sure she is getting her proper medication, and listen to me when I tell them what’s going on. I am so appreciative! Thank you, Meridian!

I originally gave this practice five stars because the last several years they’ve been awesome! Great prices, great customer service. Great tech people to help out. All of a sudden their prices are very high. Taking my dog in one time racked up almost $600 in charges and it wasn’t even an emergency. I called for an appointment and asked if they had one that day, and they charged me what seems like emergency fees. Very gouging. In addition, there is a tech that works there that is very rough with the dogs. She puts a noose leash on the dog and yanks very hard, and holds my dogs until they’re choking to bring them out to me. She has done this several times now. She claims to be very good at training dogs, and told me my dog is terrible on a leash and needs to be taught better. I have had it. After this last exorbitant bill, I have decided to switch to a different practice. I found a much better place closer to my house that doesn’t charge high fees. I really like Dr Stamm, but I can’t take my pets here anymore.

On this fall day, my wife and I visited this veterinarian for the first time for our precious golden retriever and let’s just say we will definitely be back to see these guys! The other vet we were going to closer to our house just could not get the job done, and it’s been an ongoing issue with our dog and we felt a lot better off after leaving this vet and we want to give them a huge thank you definitely recommend

This review is long overdue. Where I once gave Meridian and Dr Angie Stamm five star reviews, no more. They have put money $$ above what is best for animals in their care. They are on par with the other large corporate Veterinary clinics that have adopted practices that line their pockets before putting animal welfare, comfort and care first....I'd give zero stars if I could. I brought my little 6 lb rescued 6-7 year old chi girl, Cindy there, this little girl was one of the happiest, spriest pups I've ever rescued....BACKGROUND: I had rescued Cindy off the streets, skin and bones, some rotten teeth, I had her spayed and a dental with my longtime Vet...But after the dental procedure she had 2 fistulas (open areas) on the roof of her mouth after canines pulled that I was concerned about and my Vet did not specialize in this surgery that requires grafting some other areas of the mouth to plug these holes....Although I should have listened to my Vet who said it was unnecessary and and they would eventually close but because she had some sinus involvement I brought her to Meridian and DR Angie Stamm who had been my go to alternative Vet for decades for a second opinion. I should have listened to my Vet!!Prior to Meridian she was happy , healthy and spry and had bounced back immediately from the dental she had with no issues at all. Being overly protective I went to Dr Angie Stamm for a second Opinion as she had been a trusted alternative vet of for many, many years.Big mistake...I did not realize how much their practice had changed....They recommend an xray, told me she would have problems down the road with the remaining teeth she had and recommend we PULL OUT ALL HER TEETH, none of which she had a problem with at the time....The charge was $2,000, she explained was best to do this now to avoid issues down the road. ..I had a long discussion with Dr Stamm, because I wanted to do what was best for my pup ....I said isn't that too much to pull out all her teeth , she was such a little dog? Wouldn't it be hard on her? painful?...she assured be it wouldn't be a problem...said she would be fine...BOT TRUE!! I was horrified when I picked up this little girl...her mouth was a bloody mess, she cried and suffered extremely for days.... she was beyond in pain, crying, yelping. The pain and suffering that this little dog endured as a result was heartbreaking. I was horrified with her condition. She was crying and whimpering and miserable for weeks as was I! ....and for months after has suffered the ill effects of pulling out perfectly good teeth that may have never given her a problem.....Meridians' staff was less than helpful, did not prescribe the right pain meds.....really could have cared less.I left messages for Dr Stamm to call me and she never bothered...I had to bring this sweet baby to emergency clinics numerous times after to get her treatments .......this little pup almost a year later is still not the same and now suffers gum issues from her tongue lolling out of her mouth, as I rescued her and fostered her to find her a good home I could not in good conscience let her be out of my care because of her health issues related to having ALL her GOOD TEETH pulled out...I will never forgive my self for the pain and suffering I caused this sweet little pup .........Shame on you Dr Stamm, first do no harm.

I called 7 weeks ago to schedule an appointment for my boy that was going through chemo, to get advice on supplements and treat some physical discomfort he's been dealing with. Several weeks after getting placed on the waiting list I received an application - yes an application- to make an appointment. Roughly a week after filling out and submitting the application, I received a voice mail from Katarina, which happened to be the same day as a cardiology appointment with another vet. Wanting to learn the results of my boy's ECG and ultrasound before setting the appointment, I didn't return the call until the next day (Thurs). Of course, none of my 4 calls over the weeks were ever answered, but I left a return message and waited. No call back. Friday, I replied to their auto text message that gets sent out when they miss a call. No call back. It's now Saturday, and I've been up since 2 a.m. listening to my sweet boy struggle with pain and discomfort from fluid in his belly. I would have returned to the clinic yesterday for diuretics and treatment, but expecting a call to set up an appointment, I waited. Now that it's the weekend, with no appointment scheduled, my options are to visit the emergency clinic, let my dog suffer until another vet can see us during the week, or have a vet come out today for euthanasia.7 weeks, 4 calls, 3 messages, 1 application, 1 text - ZERO appointments or even live contact with a receptionist. 1 dog in pain that may not survive the weekend. Not being able to reach a live person or make an appointment is absolute nonsense.
