Tech excellent. Lake nope. First call 8/9. First appointment 8/28. No show. 8/30 tech showed,diagnosed and ordered control board. Return install appt not until 9/15 so did myself on 9/4. 9/10 get call saying I have to pay $60 because I tossed defective board. No prior notice! Bad customer service!
Edit of review: 1. Re 8/28 appointment: appointment was for 8 to 12. Prompt communication 3:00? Nope.
2. Reached out on 9/4 and offered 9/15 appointment. Prompt service? Nope.
3. If standard return of old part why not communicated to customer at time of ordering or time of receipt or indeed at any time? Nope. No notice whatsoever.
4. No understanding of your business practices.
5. Not best service.
6. Is CoreCentric an approved part by Whirlpool? 90 dollars new on Amazon and you want to charge 60 for defective?
7. Lesson learned. You Tube your issues with appliance. Order part from Amazon. Do not use Lake.

First, they didn't even schedule the right appointment date as agreed upon; when asked about it, they didn't even bother acknowledging my email or changing the time when I reached out multiple times via email and telephone. Then the technician came by (at the wrong time anyway), moved the washer and dryer around, called the Maytag company, and gave me an additional quote of $650+ on top of the $125 I already paid for the service feee. Afterward, I asked about the warranty on parts still available on my washer but got no response when I reached out twice. Absolutely horrible communication, service, and all around customer experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GIVING THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY.

Great Service! Technician Derrick Fixed My Fridge. Visited my Home a Wednesday to check my fridge, Ordered parts, Agreed to go Saturday Morning, And Voila! Showed up on time to fix fridge on a Saturday!

Sergii at Lake Appliance was great when we needed our refrigerator worked on. He was on time, personable, and very professional. He explained exactly what was wrong, ordered the correct parts, and returned and installed the parts as arranged. Overall he turned our problem completely around. We would certainly choose Sergii and Lake Appliance again.
