Had Brian install four brand new units in a fourplex remodel in 2022. When one stopped working a year later, he wouldn’t return my calls. When another one stopped working, he again wouldn’t return my calls. Unless you are comfortable having upset tenants and having to pay someone else to do work that should be under warranty, don’t use Imperial Heating and Air. They just disappeared into the night once they got paid for the install.

Brian was FANTASTIC when putting in the unit, but has since ghosted me. The blow motor went out in 3 years, which should most certainly be under warranty and he will not call me back. This isn't the first thing that I have tried to get into contact with him but to no avail. It's frustrating that now I will have to pay more because other companies will not honor the warranty.

Brian installed a new AC unit almost 1 year ago. The AC stopped working. Called Brian informed him that the AC he installed less than a year ago has stopped working. His response was I’m booked 2 weeks out. The professional response should have been I will come to check it out ASAP.I called another company to inspect the unit who came the same day. I was informed that a filter should have been installed with the unit. I called Brian. He was informed by the technician that the issue was the filter. Brian’s initial response was that filter was inside of the unit. The technician went to look inside the unit. There was no filter. Then Brian’s response was what company is that guy with. My response was that does not matter you did not come. My next question was is a filter required? Brian’s response was some come with them, some don’t. If you want one you have to have it installed. So I never received a direct answer to the question. Even after the phone call & the information given to Brian he still did not feel obligated to come & inspect the unit. His reasoning was he doesn’t have any employees & his schedule is booked.I have had 2 other AC companies come to my home to inspect the unit. Both companies said the same thing that not having a filter to filter the particles clogged the system.Brian is refusing to stand behind his work. BEWARE!!!!!!Service: Install AC

What a great experience. I try to use small business whenever I can and I was fortunate to find Brian and his crew. Their quote was more than fair they arrived on time they did the installation faster than I thought possible. They removed the old unit and put in the new system that was half the size and far more efficient. I enjoyed the transaction a lot and it was nice to not have to work with a larger company. Support local business.Service: Heating system installation

A huge thank you to Brian for his impeccable work on our a/c unit. It was hot outside and expected to be even hotter over the next few days when our a/c decided to fail. Several of our neighbors referred us to Brian. He made time in his busy schedule to come out last minute. His expertise allowed him to diagnose & repair problems quickly & efficiently. His company will be the only one we use in the future.Service: Repair HVAC

Brian Arrigotti repaired my AC on May 19, 2022, and on June 9, 2022 it quit working. Today is June 22, 2022 and Brian still has not returned to fix his faulty repair, despite telling me he MIGHT be here on 2 different dates, and does not respond timely to communication... I left him a voicemail on June 10, and when he did not reply I texted him on June 11. He texted back that he was working on scheduled appointments and said MAYBE he could come the next day, but he did not show or call or text. I texted him again on June 14, requesting to schedule an appointment, and again no response. Since he was not answering his phone, I texted AGAIN on June 17. He called back (while I was working) and left a voice mail telling me how busy he is working other jobs, telling me he's not taking on any new service calls (this is not new - it's follow up on "guaranteed" work that failed after 21 days), and said that MAYBE he could come that day. He also said he would not be answering his phone for the rest of the day. AGAIN, he did not show or call or text. Today is June 22 and I left him a voicemail (still not answering his phone) requesting a refund for the $445 I paid, since his work was faulty and he's not making any effort to repair it or even communicate with me, and now I am going to hire another company with positive reviews. Since Brian was recommended by a co-worker, I didn't bother to check Yelp, and now I'm wishing I had read Amanda G's review before I hired him to do the repair!

I would be leery of Daniel Brian Arrigotti, who goes by Brian. Brian came to my home to provide me with an estimate, knowing that I had another company coming out later that day, who had been scheduled before I knew about Imperial. That company warned me during their estimate that several contractors cut corners and gave me some things to check. Brian called me later that day to ask how things went with the other company. I asked Brian a few questions and he said he would send me a quote the next day. I didn't receive a quote, so I called him. That is when he told me that he decided to pass on me, because me asking "all those questions" gave HIM a bad feeling and that the questions gave HIM a "red flag". When I relayed my surprise, and that I had been interested in working with him, he said "I just can't do it" and it was "no big deal." All of this leads me to believe that he may not be secure in his work and probably would do just what the other company warned me about. So be warned and don't miss the red flag.

Imperial HVAC was referred to us, as we had an emergency situation and needed help immediately. The owner of the business came out ASAP, conducted a thorough inspection of our system, duct work and explained in detail all findings, to follow up with a written report and pictures. We were very appreciative as we are facing a very bad experience with another HVAC company that has been very negligent in servicing our HVAC needs and we asked Imperial HVAC for a complete inspection to ensure the integrity of our system and any repairs that needed to be made, as our duct work had been compromised and our current HVAC company had provided a written report that all duct work was good.

I would be leery of Daniel Brian Arrigotti, who goes by Brian. He came to my home to provide me with an estimate to replace my complete HVAC, knowing that I had another company coming by that same evening, who I scheduled before knowing about him. Brian called me that evening to ask me how things went with that company. That company warned me that many contractors cut corners and recommended that I check some things with Brian. I asked some of the questions of Brian and he said he would send me a quote the next day. I didn't receive the quote, so I called him and asked. He told me that he was going to pass on me, because me asking him "all of those questions" gave HIM a bad feeling, and that me asking those questions gave HIM a red flag. He refused to do my job and when I tried to reason with him, he said it was "no big deal". This all makes me think that he doesn't know what he is doing, and would do exactly what the other contractor warned me of.

This review is long overdue to say how FANTASTIC Brian is! Last year during the worst heat wave our air conditioner went out! Brian was out so many trying to resolve things for us. He was professional, prompt, fair and efficent in every way. He is incredibly knowledgeable, honest and just a plain gentleman and nice guy. You couldnt ask for any better service and we feel lucky to have had Brian install our air conditioner! Peter and Vera

One of the best companies I have ever used. Tim was on top of it and got my unit back up and running better than before. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

STAY AWAY FROM IMPERIAL!
ITS 86 DEGREES IN MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW AND BRIAN WILL NOT COME AND REPAIR. I HAD TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE COME OUT TO FIX HIS WORK AND PAID THEM FULL PRICE. BRIAN WILL NOT STAND BEHIND HIS 10 YEAR WARRANTY AFTER ONLY 4 YEARS. DO NOT USE THIS CLOWN!
